I don't know why, but I really like her. she was my favourite couple with Derrick on Fresh meat 1st and.. I don't know. I like her on FM and on the Duel 2. The duel 1st was suck. Everything what she done was 'I love my CT'. so. [B]i hope she is not retired... Is she?[/B]
In the MTV challenge world retiring only means taking a break. The only person that has stuck to there word is Timmy I believe.
But Diem hasn't said that and I do see her making a return.

The situation you are referring to is that when Tina and Kenny won the final challenge/mission on FM and they had to choose both of the teams going into the last Exile. They chose Derrick/Diem and Aviv/Darrell and Diem got upset and was like "How could you do that you heartless person" or something like that and the whole "You gotta a lot of nerve..." and "You can take your anorexic *** and get it out of my face" ensued from Tina.

I had to watch the challenge reunion more than once to sort of understand it. Diem and Derrick had avoided sending in Kenny/Tina on more than a few occasions as well as having an agreement once Derrick went rogue on Theo/Chanda, so they (Derrick/Diem) were positive Kenny and Tina wouldn't send them into the exile going into the final challenge, even though it was pretty obvious given the remaining players that had Derrick and Diem won, they would have had to send in Kenny/Tina against Wes/Casey.
Basically Diem felt that Tina and Kenny owed them a pass for all the times Derrick and Diem had their back, even though they didn't plan on returning the courtesy. Also I think Kenny revealed on the reunion that he had said as much to Diem too, so it's not exactly like she just assumed all of this.
On the Duel, it's more screwed up. Basically a case of Aneesa being Aneesa and spouting a bunch of empty niceties to Diem when she thought it wouldn't matter. Aneesa knew she'd be going into the Duel and thinking that Diem was gonna win the individual challenge that day told he she wouldn't be calling her in since she thought she wouldn't have to stand by that statement. When Diem ended up losing the challenge to Jodi that day, Aneesa called her in. To me that was so messed up because there's a good chance Diem probably half assed it once she was under the impression she wasn't being called in no matter what.
A lot of people become babies when they get called in though, there's probably a lot of conversations and agreements we aren't aware of that aren't important enough to get air time but that end up being considered back stabbing and what not. Evan being mad at Wes at the end of the Duel was one that left me scratching my head.
It's why I wish they would have an official after show again like the one Blair used to do. So much of the agreements or gossip gets revealed there that you get a better idea about what was actually going on.
Any word on if Diem is interested in doing another challenge? She is looking more beautiful than ever!!!!

I kind of felt that on the Ruins. After losing to Tonya in the first elimination round I just thought to myself, "She's not coming back is she." And I was right. I'm going to (kind of) miss her. She was a great competitor on the female side.
Well if it's true that Diem is done with the shows then Good. One less Fresh Meat person I have to dread coming to the challenges.
Oh and does anyone else think that Diem looks kinda like Kristen from Big Brother 12 in that picture?

Yeah, I remember the episode of Fresh Meat when she tells Derrick that she had that health problem.
I dont think she has ever said she is completely done with challenges. I know she said career comes first and that she would skip a few challenges, but all of them say that at one point and end up returning. I can see her coming back for a Duel 3 since she was apart of the first 2. I hope so at least. She seems to keep in contact with a lot of the challengers still based on facebook and her being at Brad and Tori's wedding.
I love Diem. She's one of my favorite people on the Challenges. A lot of people call her whiny and stuck up, but I see her as very nice, friendly, and genuine, and a good competitor. I hope she comes back!

That was a fairly big part of FM 1, her having cancer. She just found out right before she started, so she was on a low dose of chemo before and was going to start the hardcore treatment after she got back from Australia. On The Duel, she had to deal with her hair loss from chemo and taking her wig off for the first time in front of people. At some point she talked about how she always had long straight blond hair, and she didn't like how her hair grew back darker, thicker, and curlier.

I'm happy that she's successful with this...but I would like to see her back. I feel like she would've done well on the Ruins had she made it past the first elimination since there wasn't a lot of stuff with heights until the end and even that wasn't as bad as some of the stuff on the Duel 2.

I believe she overcame her heights issue on Duel 2.
