Has anyone seen the HBO show, [URL="http://www.hbo.com/rome/"]Rome[/URL]? I was thinking watching the epic series, but it is quite a commitment (24 hours of footage) and was hoping for some feedback before delving in (as once I get started, I'll have to watch it to conclusion.) I actually haven't seen it, but my BF has seen a few and he really likes it. He wants to rent them all on dvd. And, for what it's worth, TWoP (I know I know) had it on it's list last week of best dramas that were cancelled too soon. I caught the first two episodes and loved it. I think this series is going to be right up my alley.

Finished Rome season 1 today and it was better than I expected. Rich character development, an epic scale and feel, lots of *** and gore, with a loose historical guideline to keep things in check. Totally my kind of show. Season 2 is already on the way! :D
