Real World: Trisha, Lies & Video Tape
Trisha, Lies & Video Tape The Real World Community (that would be us bloggers and message board junkies) have been abuzz the past few days about the prospect of Trisha being ousted from The Real World Sydney house in an upcoming episode. The preview last week gave us a sneak peak into the future and showed us some of the things that transpired to lead to Trisha's exodus. Almost immediately after the show aired, Trisha posted on her myspace page defending her actions and crying foul with the episode editing. Well it took about a full 10 minutes of trying, to actually catch her in a lie. Here is part of her statement:
[...] and TRYING to make it seem like I made out with someone on the show[...]
So even though there was an episode devoted to her misdeeds she has decided to deny that anything happened with Alex. I decided to ask the man himself and here is what I sent:
I happened by a statement the other day made by Trisha and was wondering if you could take a moment to categorize it as true or false.
Alex got right back to me:
So some things get taken slightly out of context! However, she did grab me and kiss me on the couch but the cameras didn't get it so it wasn't shown.. I am also breaking the 'gentleman never tells rule' here =]
I assured him there is a rule that clearly states if the person you hooked up with currently resides on a different continent, you are free to kiss and tell! So, once again we have caught Trisha in a lie. I guess she has to do what she can to hide the truth from her boyfriend, but we are not going to help her perpetuate that lie. Is there a new rule that if it is not caught on video tape, it doesn't count? The fact that this part of her statement has proven false goes on to invalidate everything else that she said in that statement! You might be able to lie to your man Trisha, but you can't lie to us.
Hey!! No fair stealing my sources!! ;) That is really funny actually, good detective work. Didn't she already admit on camera that she had kissed him?? Plus I figured that Cohutta, Parisa and everyone else couldn't have just meant that little peck we saw onscreen when they called her out for making out with him! Anyway, I hope the second half of the season we see more of Isaac. I still loved in one of the first episodes when Trisha asked him if he liked her as a person, and he bluntly told her to her face "I don't know yet". That was classic, and most guys would have said yes just out of fear of Trisha. *Cough* DUNBAR *Cough*
Didn't she already admit on camera that she had kissed him??
During episode 12 we had her trying to decide if she was going to tell Jarod or not about the kiss before he flew out to Sydney to visit. I specifically remember Cohutta saying that you better tell the boy and see if he still wants to come. Now all of a sudden, she didn't kiss anyone and it was the editing. Guess she never told him...lol! ;)
