Real World: Sydney - The Honeymoon's Over
I just finished watching the sneak peak of next week's episode and I have come to the conclusion that Dunbar is undefendable. Yes, I know it was glaringly obvious months ago, but he has only grown worse with time. You know something is wrong when Ashli begins pulling the sympathy vote! Are there Dunbar fan groups out there on facebook and myspace? I'd love to sit down and try to gauge the mentality of people that find him the least bit palatable.

He has some serious anger managment issues and he thinks women are beneath him. I don't think they make a drug for men who think they are gods gift to women. Does anyone else notice how he repeats every nice thing Julie says about him whil they are on the phone like he has to make sure the cameras are hearing how obsessed she is with him or something...its not like she is saying anything that most any other girlfriend would say to thier boyfriend but its almost like Dunbar's ego feeds off Julie's (and any other woman for that matter) words.
I knooow I felt myself feeling bad for Assli and I had to kick myself! Speaking of, I need to go check out the groups to see if anything fun has happened since the episode aired.
I know Issac and Cahutta (sp?) are just looking for peace, but Dunbar gave them the perfect opportunity to tell it like it is...and they remained silent. I hope he can keep his cool when he sees what people had to say about him in the confessionals. Susie and co. might have to strap him to a chair backstage.

The look on Isaac's face was priceless. You almost have to feel bad for Dunbar for being so clueless.
It seems like Dummybear is mad because Ashli doesn't like him anymore. He probably expected her give him more attention after they slept together, but the exact opposite seems to be happening.
It seems like Dummybear is mad because Ashli doesn't like him anymore. He probably expected her give him more attention after they slept together, but the exact opposite seems to be happening.
"It" must not have been swoon-worthy...
"It" must not have been swoon-worthy...
This is one area I am going to disagree with you guys. I am quite sure that if Dunbar lifted a finger to get Ashli back in bed with him, she would be there in world record time. Actually, physicists would study her for years after to determine what very well could be a wormhole, as she would teleport from where she was standing to naked in bed with her legs flopped open - instantly! What is really happening is Dunbar did Ashli, but does not want anything with her because he has a girlfriend. He is giving her the "I used you up and now I am spitting you out treatment" because he is a *****. Ashli realizes this and thus is pretending to think he is scum (which is not a stretch.) However, she is the "dumpee" in this situation.
I believed Ashli when she suddenly realized she's embarrassed about Dumbar. I think she just had a physical attraction to him and then she saw his ****** personality come out more and she didn't like him anymore. Girls want more than physical attraction and Dumbar doesn't have anything else to offer. I don't think he's cute though, but Ashli did for some reason. Every girl probably can realte to liking a guy and then his true personality comes out and you feel stupid for liking him in the first place.

I am quite confident just from Ashli's tone when she was stating Dunbar was "yucky" that she was just mirroring Kelly Anne's sentiments. She was covering up the fact that she was saddened that she was not going to get anything more then physical relations out of Dunbar. That is why she was crying. She realized she threw her **** self at him and it was not going to make him leave Julie for her. Also, since they were no longer having sex because she wanted more, Dunbar was going to be an ********. Sad but true story.

Where Is Jobson At? This Post From Mittens Sounds Just Like Her I Mean Him =]
I'm not jobson or Ashli or any of her friends. I'm just a fan of the show and I'm looking at Ashli and Dummy's situation objectively. I don't think it looked like Ashli knew Dumbar was that bad until he started calling her a ***** and all that. I also noticed that Dumbar kept trying to talk about their problems with Ashli, like when she was at the computer, but she kept telling him off and yelling at him. If she wanted him still I think she would have been more accepting of his apologizes and wouldn't have argued back at him. I think Dumbar still wanted to sleep with Ashli because he already knew Julie was going to see that cheated so he probably thought why not keep doing it if he's already going to caught. I think that is the kind of guy he is.
I will have to re watch the episode. I am leaning towards thinking that Ashli still wanted him though. A lot of times girls will yell and fight to get their attention and then have the whole make up scene, which did happen at the club.

Please, someone tackle Dunbar and stick a sock in his mouth!
the ashli blackmail stuff is funny!
the ashli blackmail stuff is funny!
Yes, she does have him by the *******. Isaac said it best:
"Nobody has the upper hand, it is who can act like the bigger dumbass."
Amen.
that episode was such a waste.
that episode was such a waste.
Nothing happened after the first 5 minutes that was of any interest. This season is really going to go out like a lamb...
WORD! I turned back to VH1's Top 100 songs of the 90s.
BORING!! this episode made me fall asleep.. Dunbar sucks at life soo bad. I actually liked Ashli in this episode for telling Dunbar like it is.. he is an ******* plain and simple. and am i the only one who also thinks his muscles are totally creepy. He reminds me of a serial killer.. (ok ok maybe thats taking it too far lol)
I wish Ashli would've just said she did it with Dumbar. That would have made it more interesting. Next week's preview looks kind of funny. Dumbar and Kelly Anne look so stupid trying to do their tour, and then there's Ashli, Isaac, and Parisa 's group is so prepared and looks 1000 x's more fun.

This could have gone down as an all time classic episode if Ashli would have looked directly into the camera and calmly said: "Julie, I just wanted you to know that I ****ed the shit out of your boyfriend."

DUNBAR IS AN ******* PERIOD W/E TO HIS DISPLACED ANGER ******** JUST BECAUSE SHIT WENT DOWN IN YOUR LIFE EARLIER DOESNT MEANT THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO LASH OUT AT OTHERS(WOMEN). IF HE AND I WERE ON A CHALLENGE AND HE WANTED TO LASH OUT AT ME I WOULD CUT HIM WITH WORDS:devil2:
The best part of this episode was Isaac brushing his hair...trying to get it right. Th rest of it sucked. I am starting to see how it is still a love/hate thing for Assli otherwise she would just let dummybear have the last word so he would shut the **** up but it was like she wanted him to keep arguing with her.
I thought my eyes were going to roll out of my head when Dunbar was talking about how nice and respectful he is. Bull!
I thought my eyes were going to roll out of my head when Dunbar was talking about how nice and respectful he is. Bull!
That was painful to watch. Especially because you could tell he really does believe that he is the most respectful person he knows, lol.
That was painful to watch. Especially because you could tell he really does believe that he is the most respectful person he knows, lol.
His sincerity is what pains me most.
That was painful to watch. Especially because you could tell he really does believe that he is the most respectful person he knows, lol.
I am telling you he is delusional and bi-polar...no doubt about it!
I am telling you he is delusional and bi-polar...no doubt about it!
I'll admit I did not see how bad off he was until this episode. It was only then that I realized he was not just cocky, but that he actually was convincing himself of his own delusions. There is a big difference between playing God and thinking you are God. Simple therapy is not going to help this kid. He is going to need a serious stabilizing cocktail of the best drugs that medical science can offer if we are to believe there is hope for any sort of long term recovery.
