Yeah, you can also tell at the beginning of the episodes when they're like, "Previously, on the Real World..." Some of the stuff they show that happened in previous episodes you don't remember because it isn't on the episodes online.

I love the comment Pedro makes about the street not being straight on the first episode.
Did they cut out full episodes or just parts of episodes?
Parts of episodes. I remember in the first episode (when it aired on MTV) when Mohammed tells Pam that he was in Midnight Voices and Pam says "Midnight Voices!", it continues to show Mohammed singing with his band and Pam gives us a little run down on Midnight Voices and how they're popular in San Francisco and that they were one of her favorite bands. That whole scene was removed from the online episode/syndicated version. They did this with every season, and with Road Rules too when it when into syndication.

Well I just want to say I'm glad all you "kids" ;) get to see what the RW used to be like! I think it's great that they are re-playing an older season for the new younger demographic. I know it's too much to hope but maybe they'll see that this generation can appreciate the way it was too.
I know they are probably only doing this cause of the Pedro movie but I think it would be cool if they started going ahead and doing it for all the earlier seasons. Pedro's story is powerful but other than that for the most part this season is a snoozer. One of my least favorites along with Denver.
Why do people equate a season with no fights, no drama, no sex, etc. as "boring"? I was happy when I got to the episodes after Puck was kicked out. It was much easier to watch without his annoying presence there as much (he was still calling and still part of the story). I have no clue what Rachel and Cory saw in him with his nasty, scabby and bad attitude-having self. I finished the season a few hours ago. Though I already knew Pedro's fate, watching it made it seem as he was still alive living his life. TV immortalizes people.
I'm on Episode 17 and am LOVING this. Possibly one of my favorite seasons. This is how I want every Real World season to be. People being THEMSELVES and not overdoing anything because a camera is around. Brooklyn is the first season in a while where we haven't seen the cast drunk every night, which has been refreshing.

I actually find Puck a little bit funny. Apart from the fact that he is a very dominant person and I would go crazy living with somebody like that for 3 months... But at least he brought humor to the show. I finished the season yesterday. The cast member that I respect the most and that I like the best in this season was Pam. Now I know why everyone likes this season. Because I re-edited my "Real World Ranking List" and it is automatically #2 on it. This truly is one of my favorites.... even though I just watched it 24 hours ago lol.
Pedro was being a punk with Puck... I LEAVE OR HE GOES... waaaaahhh and to the people above, yall really think Brooklyn is better than Hollywood?!? I feel its went from the best season ever (Hollywood) to the worst (Brooklyn).. and people around me seem 2 feel the same way, its like I can't wait for this season to be over so we can watch the challenge only 2 episodes I liked were the girls vs guys, and the last episode with Ryan going back and them in AC

It had its moments, but it was too sleazy for my tastes. Brooklyn's better, but nothing's better than the first 10 seasons.

What you guys think of pam and Judd. I think they're awesome for many reasons. Pam is now a doctor who finished residency at UC San Francisco and Judd is acartoonist. They got married and had a kid. Furthermore, them two were the closest to Pedro and are continuing to share his memory through a new book they cowrote aout his life.

I prefer class over the trash that was the real world Hollywood.

He didn't need the extra stress that Puck put him or the housemates through. Strss can only make any disease, virus, or illness worse. Therefore, for th sake of his sanity and physical well being it was best thast they vote Puck out. Your posts show real maturity, putting down Puck and then Saying the classless/trashy hollywood season was the best. Going from Hollywood the worst to Booklyn one of the best in years was the best thing MTV could do. However, I identify with people who adhered to a higher power and actually have goals that are enriching besides needless sex and boozing.

Regarding Hollywood can you say SLEEZY/ Trashy/ immature/uninspiring/crazy/classless and the list goes on.
The actual real world is not being handed a job, going out and getting drunk every night, hooking up with your roommates, and arguing all night with slurred words. The actual real world is people working hard to achieve their goals in life. For example, every Real World season BEFORE Las Vegas. I believe Las Vegas ruined the main focus of the show and showed MTV that hooking up and drunk messes get ratings (unfortunately). I'm happy to see that Brooklyn has attempted to bring the show back to its roots.

Well if you guys didn't like Hollywood then you probably won't want to watch Cancun, I for one am excited. I like the serious seasons but if they are going to do this from now on, they need to switch it up every other season. Don't come at me at either that because I do like the older seasons, I just think both can be entertaining in different ways. I loved Hollywood. My favorite will always be BTNY. I forever love Coral.

I just miss what the show used to concentrate on...actual real life issues and not just "who got drunk and hooked up last night?"
We're well aware of that LOL
LOL sorry I'm EXTREMELY LATE. I never seen this season (started watching B2NY and up). Concerning RW:Brooklyn and RW:Hollywood, I love Hollywood more than Brooklyn. It had drama, and sex, but it also had substance with the whole Joey, and Brianna story. Plus, The other stories from the other castmembers. I'm 20, and I need drama lol. That's what my generation cares for. In my opinion there is no "bad" RW season, because each of the 22 (including Cancun) seasons have their story to tell, and have their own purpose.

I liked Brooklyn's cast members better but I liked the Hollywood season itself better. It bothers me that people are like "Well if they get drunk and hook up, its automatically a bad season". You can get drunk and hook up, as long as there is some substance. Some people just automatically write something off because its different than what it was 10 years ago. Just like Evan said on G3 "Its a new generation of people" . Not every season is going to be the same.
