If I may interject here, I don't think Zack is homophobic. I think the main reason he wasn't a fan of Frank was because of Frank's insane drunken behavior, which would put anyone off.
EDIT: this is my opinion so far, it may change after watching the 4th episode.

It was borderline homophobia and hypocricy. If you are saying "yeah it's fine that he's ********, it doesn't affect my opinion whatsoever", and then dropping him off at the gay club and saying "DRIVE! DRIVE!" and "Gross, ew look!" (not exact quotes I apoligize), it's hypocritical because it obviously does bother you. And he was saying more things in the house.
I'm sorry but, Zach, just chill and leave it be. It's not like they hitting on you or even in the same room when they do things. When my friend came out as gay it honesty did nothing to change my opinion, and I was not embarrassed to be around him. It's 2011. I think it's time for the world to move past such stupid, trivial things.
I'm not sure what I make of Zach, but thusfar, he seems a touch too arrogant, unempathetic, and apathetic for my taste.

This has been discussed on the episode threads but Frank was not in the vehicle when the vehicle was outside the gay club. That was when Zach and Nate had their despicable, homophobic conversation. Excusing Zach's homophobic behavior because of Frank's infantile temper tantrums is no different than excusing Frank's infantile temper tantrums because of Zach's homophobic behavior. They are both adults who have displayed bad sides of themselves. Hopefully both can grow out of it.
