Real World San Diego: La Jolla (2011) - Frank Sweeney

Happy Monday from the left coast... I have some information on our second cast mate, Frank Sweeney. [url=http://vevmo.com/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=10698][img]http://vevmo.com/imagehosting/15504e06c2fccd181.jpg[/img][/url] Frank is a 22 year old. While the original report is that he is from Vermont, Frank is originally from Canastota, New York (a suburb of Syracuse) where he attended Christian Brothers Academy. Frank then went on to attend Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. He was on the track team there, and was a [url=http://www.middlebury.edu/athletics/sports/track/archive/2009-2010/roster?player=Frank%20Sweeney]thrower[/url] specializing in the hammer throw. That picture appears to have been taken his freshman year. At Middlebury, Frank was a molecular biology and Spanish major. He appears to have recently graduated. Frank sounds like a great [url=http://themothmiddlebury.mypodcast.com/2010/10/ANYTHING_Frank_Sweeney-331312.html]storyteller[/url] and I wouldn't be surprised at all if the story he tells in that link was also used at his casting interviews. I have been told that he has done lots of mission work and has done extensive traveling through that and his school. Nostalgic

I just logged in today because I knew it was MoNDAY and Molds would have a treat for us. Anyway, I miss the old days where each new show had characters with diverse names. It seems now that we alway get characters with a previous name attached to them. Like now we have 2 Franks. I also love how his pets are Star-Trek inspired.

That's probably more likely ;)

I'm sorry but his story was boring. YAWN. That wasn't at all interesting to me. Maybe he'll be a fan favorite because of intellect and semi-creepiness similar to Mike Ross of the Las Vegas season. I thought we were casting for the Real World: San Diego, and not World's Smartest 22-year-old.

Totally aware I may be jumping the gun here on all accounts, but I'm liking where this is going. Seems like they are going for smart and athletic people, hopefully the rest are as well rounded as him and Nate appear. Granted, these people could be total idiots, however, I enjoyed listening to this man speak.

Having a bio chem degree or nuclear engineering degree does NOT make you anywhere near being the world's smartest 22 year old. I think it has something to do with their job... is there a sea world or something over there? Or they could just be trying to make good conversation.
