This is definitely right by where "Battle of the Seasons" was filmed. I know it was filmed in Cabo, but I definitely saw shots of the actual area where it was filmed, haha.
What kind of bipolar mess is going on MTV? One minute Zach and Ashley are joining in on the naked fun, then the next minute they're avoiding the group and we hear Frank again. Make it stop.
Oh my god Frank shut the hell up. They are dating each other...not you, if they don't want to involve you in their two person relationship they don't have to.
I MAY be over thinking it but I wonder if on some level Frank, during filming, was worried about camera time. If you look at past seasons there's a degree of emphasis put on "the love story" and if the group is more incorporated there'll be less focus pulled away from him to worry about a different storyline. I just don't get why you would SO badly want people who are a) clearly in a relationship and b) pretty much the antithesis of everything you believe in to CONSTANTLY be around you. If I were in his position I'd be happy for them to be away from me.
Zachary was trying so bad not to snap,If he just let's loose on Frank he will feel so much better. frank needs to stop putting this on Alex,Nate and Priscilla their grown adults.
This is a classic RW episode for me.
No, no everyone has it wrong....both of these idiots are out of their minds! I used to defend Frank, but he has taken things wayyyy wayyyy too far.
Zac- Tough macho guy who is afraid of expressing his sexuality. Very prejudiced bigoted towards gay people. The whole gay person in the army thing made him look so stupid. Like he had no reason to support what he said besides....yeah its how i feel or how my buddy feels or something. Zac also can never make a good point in the heat of an arguement! Probably because he is not very smart! In my opinion Zac comes off very annoying on this show. His arguements never make much sense, and he always freezes up in the heat of the moment, then runs off with Princess Zashley to snuggle and kiss and talk **** about Frank with more blabbering that doesn't make much sense. Only thing I agree with him is when he says Frank needs to not worry about him and Ashley and stop obsessing over her. And really, ummmm you were raised with values Zac so you won't have consensual sex with someone you have been in a relationship with? Lol please Zac sounds like your one of those dudes who is so nervous of his sexuality, probably does have E.D. and then Bam 2 minutes of missionary and he's done. NO DOUBT IN MY MIND FRANK COULD BANG ASHLEY MUCH BETTER THAN ZAC AND ACTUALLY GIVER HER AN ******.
Frank- Has something I call the gay syndrome. The need to change and morph the beliefs of every single person he comes across. From changing people to accept your sexuality to changing them to like you and be friends with the family. Just shut the **** up at some point Frank. You are obsessed with zac and ashley and every time u flip out on them it makes it sooo much worse. He is literally an idiot around them it has gotten progressively worse over the season and these last two episodes were beyond idiotic. Frank please realize that not every person will share your same view. Ppl don't always like you frank, get over it and be happy most of the cast likes you. Like Jesus frank, really.
Yea, pretty much sums it up i gues.

I agree with everything you said about Frank.
But, I enjoyed these 2 episodes. They were a lot better than the others.

Just when things start to really heat up, the season is over. The reunion may be more interesting than I thought it would be.

Well you had me on your bandwagon until this...you had great points until you took a shot at how he is in bed...not really relevant. I also don't want anyone who reads my posts to think I even slightly support the way Zach and Ashley act...I think all three of them are awful. However, I think Frank started the season as the most tolerable of the three but now he's the worst of them. He also ran into the room to tell Zashley that he was speaking for the girls when they were SITTING RIGHT THERE TALKING ABOUT THE ISSUE! I really do think he's acting for camera time.
Frank is just twisting his "I'm a victim" rap into "I'm just being a martyr for the others" rap. He had a good thing going with Mike, everybody liked Mike, and he blew it because he just isn't the type of person who can be content without drama IMO. Even that blog he does was like that the one time I looked at it--total bizarre loathing in a "pity me" way.

I know, your right that really does have no relevance, just trying to exaggerate how I see Zac. And I agree with what you said about him turning from the most tolerable of the three to the worst. It's like Zashley stayed the same and just isolated themselves more, while Frank ran around red hot blowing up at the drop of a dime. The real question is why does he freak out about Zac and Ashley like this? My honest opinion is it may stem from how Zac rejects his sexuality, and is trying to feel accepted by him. And also I think he feels Ashley does have some kind of actual acceptance and personality deep inside of her, but it has all been thrown out the window feigning over Zac. But lets be real, it seems like any chance at a relationship between Zashley and Frank was destroyed long ago, and everything that goes on between them is just throwing more fuel on this fire. And like c'mon, Frank you really still wanna be friends with them? They have proved themselves as bigots and it seems the only reason he could want to still connect with them is to fuel my point above about his desire for acceptance.
Anyway also just wanted to throw in my comments on the rest of the gang.
Nate- I liked him in these episodes. Except I think he kind of got caught in the middle of Zac and Frank and should have just stated his own opinion more strongly.
Priscilla- Great episode, I honestly love this girl. Open-minded, fun, and not annoying at all.
Zimbabwe girl- Whats her name again>? Like I have watched the whole season and I just blanked out. She seems like she always has the right answer to all the moral questions and disagreements, but always takes a watered down approach when speaking her mind not to stir the pot. She seems afraid to have a real conflict, because I know deep down she has stronger opinion...i Think?
And finally Sam- No complaints here, seems like a pretty cool person.

I completely agree on everything here I love Alex and deep down inside I know she want to just say shut the heck up,I love her singing and her lyrics are breath taking
Its true Frank has become pretty annoying with this whole Zach/ Ashley situation, but Zach is the one person I can not stand, he personifies everything I hate, because he is too stupid to respond intelligently he threatens physical violence, typical American jock bully, no brains , no class just a lot of bravado, saying "he should consider himself lucky I have not punched him out"
and Frank please shut the ****** up
I actually kind of agreed with Frank last night.
I mean, not only are Zach and Ashley secluding themselves affecting the cast but it affects the show as a whole. I think those two, always being MIA is a huge reason why this season is beyond snoozeworthy. Because the storylines ONLY revolve around FOUR people – Alex doesn’t even count because the only time she gets camera time is when she’s singing, which usually lasts for about 1-2 minutes.
Frank DID go overboard crying about the Ashley/Zach situation every two seconds. It went from an understandable complaint to him just crying about it every five minutes. Like Priscilla said, you complaining about it isn't going to make them want to hang out with you, so accept it or let it go.
Zach is a d-bag who lives in his "I'm too cool for school" world. I really don't understand why he came on to the show to begin with, him AND Ashley. "These people aren't my family," Like, really? And it's obvious he has the upper-hand in the relationship... like when Priscilla was dancing, having a good time and he says to Ashley "Don't ever dance like that" They seem like their afraid to have a good time. You're on The Real World, it's a once in a life time experience and all you want to do is lie in bed and read books, I just don't get it. Alex also irritates me because I wish she'd be more honest and blunt about things, she always tries to dress up the situation instead of just saying how she really feels, and it’s so frustrating.
Nate and Priscilla were ok, out of them all their the only tolerable ones on the show.
I don't see that Zack and Ashley as a couple are that different than other couples we have seen--most recently Dustin and Heather for instance-- in terms of doing things as a couple/distancing themselves from the group. It is about the most realistic thing I have seen on this season so far albeit not really interesting.
I don't think Zach is stupid. I'm watching this episode now where Frank ambushes him with a question about gays in the military and demands an immediate explanation of his thoughts on the issue.
I'm guessing Zach just doesn't spend a ton of time thinking about these things. Not because he's dumb, just because he's never been forced into a situation where he has some narcissist flipping out everytime that someone isn't complimenting him. And, as he hasn't and doesn't spend a ton of time examining why he feels a certain way about a group of people he has very little contact with, how would he have a well thought out explanation of why he feels that way?

Zashley have not consummated their relationship and make it a point to do their own thing,Heather and Dustin still participated in group activities it was Leroy and Mike that wanted nothing to do with Dustin, but they were still around with Ashley and Zach they separate themselves on purpose.

I also do not think Zach is dumb or homophobic,I think that he is being dealt that card because Frank and Sam keep pushing it on him,I actually respect him because he is knows that in a perfect world you are not going to get along with everyone and isn't putting on for the cameras or the sake of this being for a TV show.
Priscilla drunk = awesome TV.
It's a shame that she's underaged, she could have made this season far better for me if she was allowed to be involved in the partying/drinking so I can laugh at her rather than have Frank being shoved down my throat.
But overall, good episode. It looked like they had a lot of fun and they did a lot of activities in Cabo (para sailing, swimming w/ dolphins, horseback riding, etc.)!
Priscilla (Real World, Simmons): 95 points. German surrealist Max Ernst had this to say of the naked female form: "Woman's nudity is wiser than the philosopher's teachings."
He would have really enjoyed Priscilla's performance on this episode of Real World. According to Ernst, those of us who watched Priscilla's repeated drunken disrobing (60 total nudity points) are wiser than those that spent their Wednesday night reading volumes of Thomas Hobbes, and who am I to argue? If you are one of those unfortunate souls that didn't soak in the wisdom that Priscilla was so eager to give via her naked form, allow me to be the Virgil to your Dante and escort you through the nine circles of Priscilla's areola.
Priscilla is 19 years old and under the legal age limit to drink alcohol, a fact that has relegated her to the role of designated driver in the Real World house and, so far, made her a total snooze of a cast member. When the cast learns that they are headed to Cabo for a vacation, it is not lost on Priscilla that, south of the border, she will finally be allowed to enjoy alcohol: "I am not saying no to a single thing this entire vacation," she told us. In Cabo, she declined to say no to the dozens of drinks she was offered (10 intoxication points) and to making out with her female roommate, Sam (10 points). Off-camera, someone must have said, "Priscilla, while you are dancing, would you please expose your nether regions to this entire nightclub full of people?" Because she did not say no to that, either.
It is easy to forget just how drunk you got when you were 19, and Priscilla's Mexican vacation was a good reminder. After a few cocktails, the former good girl turned into Courtney Love on a raging bender. But after a few days of Bukowski-ing around, Priscilla learned the consequences of extreme intoxication -- she got a hangover. In the morning, fully clothed, she was deep in the waters of shame and pain to which only binge drinking can submarine you. She vomited (10 points), cried (10 points), and made the same claim we have all made on hazy mornings following long nights: "I am never drinking again." I am betting big on the over.
Zach (Real World, House): 40 points. Ernst never said anything about how wise male nudity makes you, but there was plenty of it from Zach this episode as well (40 total nudity points). Zach was also involved in a verbal spat with Frank (5 points) that I am positive did not make anyone wiser:
Zach: Shut up. Shut up.
Frank: Do not tell me to shut up.
Zach: Shut up.
Frank: Do not tell me to shut up.
Zach: Don't point your finger at me.
Frank: Don't tell me to shut up. Don't tell me to shut up, man!
Zach: Shut up!
It seems like all arguments on TV devolve into two people yelling at each other about being quiet. I really hope this is how our upcoming presidential debates play out.
Frank (Real World, Connor): 35 points. Frank is losing a war. A war to make Zach and Ashley his friends. He spent his entire therapy session complaining that Zach and Ashley aren't opening up to him and revealing their true selves to their roommates. I have never been in therapy (yet), but I wouldn't want my therapist to sit there, listen to me complain about people not opening up to me, and respond with some BS like, "Don't let your emotions get the best of you." I would much rather have a therapist tell me, "Dude, do you know how much this is costing you an hour? You just spent 250 bucks *****ing about your roommates. How about we talk about your real issues, like the fact that you watch 10 hours of reality television every week?"
Oh yeah, Frank also got naked a couple times (25 points), but still kept his headband on. If I were Frank's therapist, I would look him right in the eye and say, "You know why no one wants to open up to you? Because you are wearing that stupid headband. Who wants to hang out with a 23-year-old dude who dresses like a combination of Tommy Chong, Cher, and Willie Nelson?"
Nate (Real World, Kang): 35 points. Nate on his goal for the rest of this season: "Welcome to two weeks left. I am going to puke every night!" Nate got drunk (10 points), got naked (20 points), got in an argument (5 points), blah blah ******* blah. Right now the most exciting thing about this season of Real World is that it is ending soon. I was looking at my notes to see what hacky jokes I had for Nate, and I came across one that is representative of my feelings about this season of Real World: "Why do cars' tires always look like they're spinning backwards on TV?" And the next note was, "That is the most interesting thought I have had watching this season of Real World."
Sam (Real World, Lane): 30 points. Sam joined everyone else in getting naked (20 points) and being attacked by the Courtney Love sex monster that was an inslopsicated Priscilla (10 points). She also performed as a drag king. Her performance wasn't particularly interesting or notable, but her preparation was. She approaches her performances with the intensity, focus, and aggression that Ray Lewis brings to a playoff game. The only difference being that, as he's gearing up for the big game, nobody asks Ray Lewis if he needs help Saran Wrapping his ***** down. Actually, I have no proof that no one's ever asked Ray Lewis if he needed help Saran Wrapping his *****. If someone has, I bet it was Joe Flacco.
This whole episode should have been about Priscilla.
"Nate is scared (...) from a little dolphin"... Sometimes I think English is not Frank's first language.
Also, I am wiling to bet that Nate didn't wash his clothes in Cabo like he said he would.
And Molds I love this website, it's absolutely hilarious. Is it weird that 70% of the reason why I look forward to watching each new episode this season is to read Grantland's Reality Scorecard?
