Did they already start filing the new season?! In that article they have a link to one of the guys twitter page where he has a picture of the supposed real world cast! It seems a bit early to start shooting the new season when they haven't finished airing the current real world season and the new challenge!

Actually it's not.
I'm sorry, who is Bill Walton?
I Googled it. I think it's a former NBA player who once played for the Trailblazers, thus his tie to Portland. I could be wrong though.

While he was that, he's also a commentator who's known for saying "that's a terrible call" which is what I think Help Desk may have been going for.
I don't know is it becayse of horrible past few Real World seasons or I'm so excited for the upcoming Challenge but I'm not interested into this Portland stuff at all. I always was such a huge fan, didn't even care about Challenge but now when San Diego and St Thomas are such a disaster I just lost my hopes.
According to one of the casting directors, the season premiers in early Feb. The date "February 1st" keeps floating around a lot on twitter. February 1st is a Friday; I'm hoping that's not the date

As I keeping say, I have a feeling it will be taking the Jersey Shore/Buckwild time slot on the 14th. Its the only time slot that really makes sense.

Its fake. A Friday? Come on now. Plus thats their corny little movie night.
On the Comcast listings it looks like it is supposed to premiere on January 2nd, but it could be wrong.
This is fake too. And i agree a Thursday is looling more and more likely

My guide doesn't go that far. Maybe it's a preview special or like the first 5 minutes?

tvguide.com says it's the 2nd, but I was under the assumption that Buck Wild was going to be airing Wednesdays at 10
I take that back, Washington Heights is airing on Wednesdays at 10 starting on January 9th, so what's airing on the 2nd may not be Portland but a St. Thomas rerun
6 minutes seems like a long time.
I feel like its either gonna be long because there's a lot of drama, or there's no drama and they're gonna put only bits and pieces of the little drama there actually was in the 6 minute preview.

I'm sure the preview will just be of the cast introducing themselves and moving in the house.

Two problems:
a) If these 6 minutes are indeed the trailer than this is far too long unless they air the entire infamous "Little D" argument.
b) If these 6 minutes are indeed the first six minutes of the season then why on earth arent they promoting it?

Yeah they did the same for the St. Thomas preview that aired right after Teen Mom. But I don't think that's a good idea because the first 10 minutes aren't really that interesting, hopefully they show a fight or argument, something that will make people want to tune in.
Nia said this is the final season of the Real World on facebook.
How does she know that?
If its true, I think the series will go out with a big bang!
Can't say I would be surprised if this was the final season.
Also Portland will end around the 21st anniversary so that would be cute if they did a special reunion show.
Here Nia's text message on facebook.
The important things are marked
