Real World: New Orleans 2 - Episode 2

The funny thing about this is I remember older seasons when they would bleep out the person's last name. They just let Preston say his full name on the episode, probably because it's already been discussed in full on various sites...
I've seriously never rolled my eyes at someone on TV as much as I do with Ryan. He truly is one of the most insufferable people this show has ever cast.
Agreed. I can appreciate him for the entertainment value he brings to the show, but he is just too bizarre and kooky. The whole ordeal with his shoulder had me shaking my head, and I cannot help but wonder why an oddball hairdresser would go through such great lengths to fake an injury. Attention? Something more nefarious?
OK, that was definitely Emilee. I'm 99.9% sure.
[strike]i liked mackenzie at first, but she seemed like shes always spaced out now. makes me believe nothing is going on upstairs... or shes just afraid of the cameras. and the fresh meat dailies were cool because they were something you didn't get to see in the episodes. it had a behind the scenes feel. now they have just become spoilers... like you have months of footage & you pick the same ones you show in an hour long episode? this must have been a real "crazy" & "interesting" cast.[/strike] I liked McKenzie at first, but she seems like she's always spaced out now. And since I've decided I'm a conspiracy theorist, I am of the impression that Ryan faked his injury in order to get all those drugs with hopes that Knight would relapse. .....okay I don't actually think that, but I can't stand him.
This was a boring episode. :/
What's a fay-ence?
And since I've decided I'm a conspiracy theorist, I am of the impression that Ryan faked his injury in order to get all those drugs with hopes that Knight would relapse.
I hope that isn't the case, but I almost immediately suspected him of faking the shoulder injury so he could get the drugs for himself or to have some control over Knight and/or knock him off the wagon. I don't really know what he faked it for, but the Percocet thing in the trailer definitely made me worry about what his weird *** was up to.
How the **** do you even pop a shoulder jumping a fence...? A knee, yeah, but come on Ryan's up to something. Especially him putting his *** all over Knight's bed after they made-up...maybe it's foreshadowing for more **** to come.
Am I the only one who is disturbed by Jemmye constantly saying Knight will be her first white guy?
I am so loving this season so far. These kids are so... I can't exactly put my finger on it, but yeah good cast.
This season feels kidn of like a throwback with the feel of it. I really am feeling it.
Agreed!
Am I the only one who is disturbed by Jemmye constantly saying Knight will be her first white guy?
Is that the only thing she says that disturbs you?
Am I the only one who is disturbed by Jemmye constantly saying Knight will be her first white guy?
It's pretty common and kind of taboo in the South.. Like a lot of white girls tend to go for black guys, and they get a lot of **** for it from both races-in my city, anyway.
Is that the only thing she says that disturbs you?
No but the fact that they played the same quote 5 times during the episode(and during the preview for next week's) makes it stand out. Let's not even talk about her casting tape.

I wouldn't say that episode was necessarily boring. I think that most of us were hoping for something a little better than last week's Ryan vs. Preston(/Jemmye) battle that was over on the same night. Also, Ryan was saying things like "I really want to be your friend," to both of them. With tonight's episode it was another Ryan fight that was the big issue. Ryan vs Knight ended again with Ryan saying "I want to be your friend," and the fight being over. It was almost a repeat from the premiere, which makes me think (but not hope) that next week's episode will be a Ryan vs. Another Roommate fight. Other than that, though, I really enjoyed the Eric/Sahar stuff and (to a certain degree) the Knight/Jemmye stuff. I will agree with Ryan on one thing - McKenzie is cute. I want to see more of her.

They didn't show enough of Mckenzie....that's girl is BEAUTIFUL!!! I can watch her all day :-)! lol
Okay, so Ryan is creepy and odd, but he is still my favorite real world male in YEARS!
OK, that was definitely Emilee. I'm 99.9% sure.
which bar scene? The Eric-Sahar kiss one or the Ryan get weird and goes home because Knights there one?
which bar scene? The Eric-Sahar kiss one or the Ryan get weird and goes home because Knights there one?
The Eric-Sahar one. It was right at the very end. You only see Emilee for about .2 seconds. When the episode goes up online tomorrow I'll grab a screenshot of it.
This is the best season in years. Another solid episode. Jemmye should easily wind up in my 5 all time favorite RW cast members, she is going to single-handedly carry this season.

If that's who molds is talking about, that's obviously not Emilee.
[strike]Thats definitely not emilee[/strike] That's definitely not Emilee.
That looks exactly like Emilee. X___X
You guys seriously don't think that girl even remotely looks like Emilee? Granted, SPK didn't get the best picture, but if you go back and rewatch it for yourselves...
Ryan is annoying. I forgot Mckenzie was on this season. They are trying to milk Jemmye, Knight and Ryan and the Eric and Sahar thing. We get it, Eric wants Sahar but Sahar doesn't want Eric. We've seen it before. I did find it a little boring but enjoyable, I also think this is a pretty solid cast.
That looks exactly like Emilee O: No lie. I don't really like Jemmye, but she said the smartest thing of the episode: "He climbed over a fence. How do you hurt your shoulder climbing over a fence?"
The funny thing about this is I remember older seasons when they would bleep out the person's last name. Just last season, Callie was on the phone with some business or person or something having to do with photography I think and they cut the sound off where you could clearly see her saying "Walker". I don't know if it would be because it was discussed in full on other sites, because with the publicity DC got I wouldn't be surprised if hers had been more on the internet than his. And there's the end of my mini-rant on absolutely nothing important.
I honestly didn't even realize he said his full name.
