Agreed ,I find Mike a little over the top with his reaction to Dustin,The only overeaction Dustin had was in concerns to Heather.
I am glad it is not just me but we are in the minority on that for sure. If one were to watch it again as I did, they would see that all Dustin said was that Mike shouldn't tell Leroy about what he heard someone at the rodeo say about "the black guy" and was trying to get him to stop going toward Leroy. Mike then went all spastic about Dustin trying to have his way with everything. Felt like Mike was out to stir something up and just switched up targets.
Mike said on Derrick's podcast that he only gets like that when arguing with Dustin because Dustin didn't listen to a word anyone would say unless he got into a heated argument like that.
I agree with you guys. I understand that people are happy mike has a backbone but i find it extremely irritating that he is so obviously jealous of dustin that he tries to bring him down in almost any circumstance. in the daily they say all the guys were offered to ride the bull, if adam felt he wanted it to be "his thing" that was something he could have taken up with dustin himself. mike freaking out yelling and flailing to dustin that he stole adams spotlight makes him look as uncool and lame as when dustin cried about him and heather hooking up. everyone calls dustin a psycho but he actually seems to hold his cool when dealing with mike than mike does when dealing with him.

Although Leroy and Mike comment a lot, maybe even too much, I still like them and much more than Dustin. I mean, he did seem over competitive to ride the bull when he found out Adam (who had beaten him at his own sport) was gonna do it. I guess I see both sides. Doesn't even matter to me, I still dislike Dustin. When he said "I'm gonna get my man on." All I heard in my head was "I'm gonna get on my man." Sorry.

The editors can't spend 10 minutes of a 42 minute episode building up Mike's individual angst toward Dustin. There is sufficient back story in Derek's podcast for even the average viewer to put the pieces together here and comprehend that Dustin understands the role of the camera. As long as Dustin talked...and talked...and talked...about himself, the edit would be about him. My gay friends tell me Dustin is more likable with the sound turned off. Maybe they -- and Mike -- make valid points.
I find Dustin to be the most calculating and most guilty of wanting screentime. Everything he says screams "soundbite" to me. I don't know how to explain it but nothing about him seems genuine. He is incredibly grating.

Everybody is always going to paint themselves in the best light and the person with whom they disagree in the worse light--just human nature. I get that people don't like Dustin and why they do not. This Mike-Dustin tension just seems to be more Mike than Dustin IMO. Even in the Heather fight, his position seemed to be that he and Dustin were tighter than Dustin and Heather. He refers to "after all we have been through" to Dustin and then refers to Dustin only having known Heather "4 days" which would have been the same amount of time they all knew each other. I don't see that Dustin owed Mike anything greater than anybody else or that Mike is entitled to have Dustin's attention moreso than anybody else.
The only person I like this season is Adam. Everyone else is annoying...
The only person I like this season is Adam. Everyone else is annoying...
Yay Salt!!!
Nany is the most annoying person in the house. She dances up on guys and gives guys her email address. Nany's boyfriend calls her with concern and she yells at HIM and hangs up on HIM as if he was the one being disloyal. She goes on and on about how her boyfriend isn't the guy she deserves, yet she's going after Adam of all people - a guy who admitted to already having a girlrfiend and cheating on every girl he's been with. This is who Nany is dumping her boyfriend for.
One of the ironies of this season IMO is that the women seem to be more independent and "whatever" and the guys (except for Leroy maybe) are so freaking needy.

They want to party and hook up but don't want to be seen as the bad girl so go out of their way to **** the boyfriend off so he dumps her. Then she can party and hook up guilt free. If you watch the previous episodes she's been slowly winding the boyfriend up with each phone call. Going by the clips of the next episode she may have just used Adam as an excuse to get rid of her boyfriend. As for the rest Dustin is a strange boy but at least he's funny when he freaks out, the whole arms crossed shocked look on his face just cracked me up. Adam was alot more interesting when sober even though the wannabe bad *** crap is annoying. Mike is a top bloke. The girls are either very stupid or really bad friends to Nany. Adam is the first to get married and loves Nany? Really? It's a good job Heathers cute as she isn't going to get by on her brains.

Nany is extreme in that she acts like her boyfriend is in the wrong for being concerned and wanting updates. She was even giving him attitude when she told him she kissed Adam as if Jordy was the one kissing somebody. She's gross.
I blame Nany's bf for not knowing she was unfaithful. If a girl cheated on me, I'd be furious... but if she cheated on me with a guy like Adam.... I don't know that I could ever be able to comprehend that. I mean the dude's a 90 lb wangster who is most likely never going to amount to anything. A girl's gotta have some serious mental problems to look past all of that and find him attractive, and I wouldn't wanna be the guy who was with a girl like that. Also, Dustin is annoying. Does anyone really talk like him or is he just a horrible actor?

And within that particular part of America, Louisiana is a subset all its own. That he even enunciates probably makes him uppity back home.

It's funny though that Dustin speaks that way and says things like "in the history of everdom" and pretends to be a gangster when he's not. All in all, I agree with person who said Dustin always sounds like he's fake or acting. He just never seems genuine.
Haha I'm from Louisiana. Unfortunately, I've heard many people speak like Dustin. ;_;
