I really enjoyed this season. It sparked some new interest in the show, and these people were hilarious to watch. There were some good stories this season(Dustin's past, Nany and her father, and Mike and his mother), which has been hard to come by in recent seasons.
I love Naomi and Cooke for painting themselves blue. I couldn't help and think "Avatar!" the whole time.
However, I thought the goodbye was lackluster. No emotional hugs or tears shed while each cast member left like the previous seasons. I did adore the sleepover on the bowling alley, though. It was so sweet!
I feel like it was because they all left the suite at the same time. In previous seasons they always leave one by one and that's what makes it so emotional.
Yeah, but an average viewer wouldn't know there is a reunion. Normally they show one don't they?
I can't really recall. I'm sure they will show commercials for it every now and then before it airs next week.

They could have let each person leave one by one by walking each other to the elevator or something similar. However, I can see why leaving as a group sort of signified the strong bonds that were shaped during the season. It was just a little unusual.
This season was pretty good and it ended quite well, except that I'm still bugged (rather more puzzled) by Dustin actions towards gay people it kinda doesn't adds up. Personally I preferred the Nola season way more over the Vegas season.
This season should go down as one of the best Real World seasons ever. I thought this was way better than the original Vegas season. Amazing final episode. Best season since San Diego. And like San Diego they cast people who were flawed but still likable (with the exception of Adam, who didn't stay all the way) and they cast people who h
ad amazing chemistry as a cast. And there were genuine friendships between Mike and Leroy and Nany and Naomi. When we see that and them having fun, it's much better than just a bunch of catty girls who hate each other and guys who are jerks. That's why this season stood out as a great one. There was a great mixture.
Going to miss this season. Sad to see it off the air so quick. Going to especially miss Leroy who automatically goes into my "top real world members of all time" files.
Best season since I became a fan, 4 years ago. I'm an old guy so I was busy before i retired. Loved the cast, ( Adam was a ********* in the way he treated women) and they ALL had their moments to regret. Heather was my favorite, just too damn cute for this old guy, and the stories of Dustin, Nany, mike, Leroy, nNmi, and Cooke made for a great season. Not sure a second season would be good, but I bet they have a lot of footage for several "**** they should have shown shows". Would like to see followups on the casts in 6 months or a year as to what they are doing, relationships(Dustin & Heather) Mikes efforts on getting rich.
I feel really bad for Leroy. This reminds me of when Danny's dad called him on Austin and told him that his mom died. I dislike(ed) Danny with a strong passion but even today when I see that scene I still choke up.
Who died? I friggin fell asleep during it. Anyways Good season. Glad Dustin is off my screen.
Thanks. Wow, that's sad. I'm sure with the power of Google we can figure out the whole story. If the police shoot you, you must've done something REALLY wrong, especially now that most officers use stun-guns to subdue criminals resisting arrest.
Not true at all since police have been known to use excessive force.
IMO this was the best RW season since Hollywood. Unlike the past four seasons of RW, each episode kept me interested and for some strange reason I grew to like everyone on the show and I hope they all compete in a Challenge in the near future. Usually there will be around 1-3 who I dislike in the house, but I liked everyone this time around, including ****** bag Adam lol. Everyone was unique and had something cool or interesting about them. Definitely going to miss this season. Its going to suck not seeing Leroy and "Mike Mike" bromance, Dustin's crazy antics, and the two most beautiful girls in the house, Nany and Heather on each and every Wednesday. Anyways good stuff by RW: Las Vegas crew this season, but now its time to look forward to the RW/RR Challenges! I have a feeling that Rivals might be the best Challenge since the Duel 2.

And this means...anyone?

I suppose someone could ask you to make sense of your comment.
but deception is an art form when well practiced...
I'm going to miss this cast and season. I loved the friendship between Leroy and Mike, and Nany/Naomi. I think those four were my favorites, and they all seemed really close too. The only person I didn't like by the end was Adam, though Dustin annoyed the **** out of me for much of the season.
Who died? I friggin fell asleep during it. Anyways Good season. Glad Dustin is off my screen.
Leroy's friend called him to tell him another friend had been shot and killed by the police because I guess he had a gun drawn or present when police told him to get on the ground, or something along those lines.
Ended up being a pretty good season in my opinion :) When Nany burned her pictures it reminded me of Arissa from the original Las Vegas season. There were a lot of similarities between the two seasons I think haha.
And this means...anyone?

They showed Mike getting a veni vidi vici tattoo, which if I'm not mistaken was one of your reasons for figuring out that he was gonna be on Rivals after he posted that same message on Twitter.
I mean I was kidding of course but I thought it was ironic :p
I can't believe that Dustin can't get over Naomi and Cooke painting themselves blue. It's over and done with. Sheesh.
I thought he was serious at first, too, but it's his trademark "camera pose" humor :)
This was definitely one of the better seasons of recent times. Half the cast had something unique or a twist that made things different and interesting. Good vibe overall.
Definitely looking forward to seeing some of them again on the Challenges.
I am happy they didn't exploit Leroy's' tragedy for rating on the trailer of the season or for dramatic effect for a ratings boost. I am very pleased with the Las Vegas 2 and NOLA 2 seasons.
I actually that it was a dull and boring finale to a pretty good season. It was to me the most boring episode of the season and I agree with the poster who said the ending was weird. The whole Real World finale is usually centered around the goodbyes and each castmember leaving one (or sometimes two) at a time and saying goodbye to everyone.
Also on a sidenote: it became more apparent in this episode how open MTV is to using all of the last names of the roomies. Up until I guess pretty recently this had been taboo and the last names were always bleeped out on the show.

I also noticed that. There were a lot of last names used this season, Cooke and Zito on a regular basis, and in this past episode there were Mike's and Naomi's, and I was actually rewatching a few episodes of Hollywood and there were a lot of bleepings of the last names.
I just watched the episode and I'm kind of upset that they all left as a group, usually the leave one at at a time and usually the most dramatic female or the one who showed the most growth/change was the last to leave...
Brooke (Denver) *
Parisa (Sydney)
Brianna (Hollywood)
Katelynn (Brooklyn) *
Ayiiia/Emilee (Cancun) *
Emily (DC)
Jemmyee (NOLA2)
* = I can't remember and I'm to lazy to check.
I was like 100% sure that Nany was going to be that last female but I never got the chance to see. :(

I guess that started with Knight in NOLA, but the cast already had their last names on their twitters before the season started so it really wouldn't have made a difference (except I have seen some tweets from people who went to school with him that indicate Dustin may have a different last name or at least used to so who knows if these are really their last names at all).

Don't forget Paula from Key West

The Mike-Naomi "wedding" was December 20th. They--meaning the cast and crew-- may have just been a huge hurry to get out of Dodge and back home for Christmas (well most of them. I think Mike is Jewish)

If I remember correctly Jonna and Derek were the last 2 to leave in Cancun

It was in fact Jonna and Derek that left Cancun last.
As for the others you have starred, it was Brooke that left last on Denver and Brooklyn ended with a montage of Chet/Ryan saying goodbye and Katelynn leaving the house last.
I have to say this was truly one of the best seasons but I've only begun watching Real World since Philly. I've seen bits and pieces of San Diego and loved it but haven't been able to find a full season to watch anywhere. I haven't been invested in a full season of the Real World since Key West and even for that season, I finished it a year after since I got bored midway.
I've seen about half of Denver, Brooklyn and Sydney, and three episodes or so of DC and Hollywood. All those seasons had castmembers that irritated me in some way or another. None of them had cast members I absolutely loved and could get behind. In this season, Mike and Leroy never once fell out of favor to me. They have become my favorite real worlders.
