A couple years fresh off the OJ trial and Real World still focused on serious issues back then so it would have made sense to get that out there. Hell, the People vs. OJ TV show back in 2016 was phenomenal and got massive ratings/acclaim. It's still something people want to see plus OJ is out now for his 2007 unrelated crime, it really was the trial of the century.

I do wish they'd go back to casting 18 year olds. I liked the reckless aspect of some of the young people acting a MESS because they hadn't had any experience out in the world. Y'all remember on San Diego 2 when they went on vacation and Priscilla went wild? *********
I wish they could do 18 but like Gamer said they wouldn't be able to use the fake IDs like they did. I mean I remember it was a storyline on the show basically to get Jamie and Cameron into the bars w/ their fakes on SD1. Now they would be such a huge deal and it would never be allowed.

I too miss younger people on these shows! I understand why they've moved away from that but it's really interesting because I think 18-21 year olds are MORE at a crosshairs in their lives in many cases because they're just now leaving their parents for the first time.

I feel like 18 year olds now wouldn’t work, you almost have to be 21 to do anything now lol. And they don’t allow fake IDs so that won’t aork..
It works in other countries where the drinking age is 18. I remember KellyAnne, Ashli, etc were under 21 when Sydney filmed.
Just finally do a season in Canada where it's 19 or if they're hell bent on warm locations go to somewhere in the Gulf like the Dominicans

28 is too old IMO. Cut off should be 25.
