Have they really? It really doesn't seem like it honestly.

yeah theyve gone total SJW..just look at the dip in viewership not only across the board in programming but the VMAs from the past few years. they made that franchesca girl the figurehead of their SJW direction on that network and shes god awful

I mean the low viewership may have more to do with people just not caring about MTV and them not really having any shows that tons of people would want to watch. Not with SJW.

Notice the type of commericals that play though next time you watch. You'll see that anti-smoking commercial 3-4 times an hour and other commercials.

nah people stopped with MTV cause of the direction they continue to go with as a network..going full SJW is suicide

Lmaooooo true but it used to be very grounded in actual reality if that makes sense instead of fake outrage over bullshit. Remember MTV News & how they always had THE breaking news stories? Old school True Life?

The network used to be basically the voice of the generation along with BET ( <------ now these ************* are even worse smmfh). Not anymore.

Also if they bring back Road Rules then I think it'll definetly help out the challenges in terms of competition. Alot of the best competitors were from Road Rules and keep in mind Road Rules is a show that needs athetic people with a brain...

agreed completely....Campus Crawl alone has given us some of the best competitors of all time

The whole "everybody gets a participation trophy so no one feels left out" stance that society itself has morphed into (not just MTV) has a lot to do with it as well.

I ******* despise that shit.

I apologize if this is irrelevant, but BMP's casting page still has TRW up and it says it's still accepting applications. Is that new or was it never taken down from Bad Blood?

It looks like there's a  new season coming up in a couple of weeks. MTV has a countdown ticker on their Challenge pages now.

LOL thats for the reboot of TRL (Total Request Live) not for the real world

Yeah, I just realized that as I just saw a commercial for TRL on MTV. Obviously TRL is not TRW, DOH!

Just thought of this randomly but I feel like it'd be a good idea to film a RW sooner rather than later and put a couple Trump supporters in a house with non supporters. I feel like it'd be interesting to see interactions since there's such a huge divide in the country because of this. This goes in with what MTV used to try and go for which is what's current and what the youth is talking about now. They should have done something similar with Bad Blood talking more about the BLM movement and have castmembers that are completely against it. Essentially create a cast (not a theme) that will force the conversation of a current topic.

A lot of the MTV audience is not mature enough for this.  A Trump support is often automatically considered a racist. I think the conversation after the Challenge on tuesday was fairly civil but it would be nice to see a discussion from both sides without others jumping at ones thoughts.

Even if they aren't mature enough I feel like people would tune in anyway. It would cause drama and maybe even some real moments. I just think if this were to continue they need to lessen the focus on peoples past relationships to cause drama and focus more on current issues that EVERYONE can relate to. Viewers either love Trump or hate him same as people either are completely for BLM or against it so everyone would wanna watch as opposed to seeing a sister rivalry or a bitter ex who viewers would be more neutral/not care enough for.

I'd be a perfect candidate for this, I'd love to get payed to drag Trump Supporters, I already do it for free online lol

Hiatus

I feel like they're waiting to see how that Floribama trash does first.

Does anyone remember the time Katelynn went to dance class with Baia and was ******* awful? I was in HS when this happened and I remember the following day at school everyone laughing, mocking and talking about it lmao.

Like the 2nd or 3rd. Like the only one Baya had a story line in.

Tbh... if this show returns for Season 33, they need to go back to it just having 7-8 people living in a house and THATS IT.  These twists are getting tiring...
