I don't know about the twists (I kind of like the bigger cast dynamics) but the casting/lack of promotion definitely.
I thought I did but Bad Blood has shown there is too many people for everyone to get a proper story and screen time and when they don't have someone for everybody like Explosion it seems incomplete.

Feeder show for Challenges.
we have AYTO now
That's not gonna cut it. People still don't like them or want them on the show. Plus with them getting their own spin-off now there's no reason for them to even still be on the challenges now.
My suggestion is they do like Bad Girls Club did with Back for More for Season 14 which was after their hiatus. Do a New York season next and promote that the show is going back to it's roots. After than I would head to Atlanta, Dallas, Memphis, Charleston, etc.
Nostalgic wrote:Bad Girls Club is not The Real World though. Also, they went from 7 to 8 then back to 7 again so maybe just maybe they can stop the twists
The point I'm making is the show can be revived. The twists are hurting the show along with the casting and lack of promotion.
I don't know about the twists (I kind of like the bigger cast dynamics) but the casting/lack of promotion definitely.I just don't ever really see the show being cancelled but we'll see.
Agreed. I don't think twists are hurting the show at all. They just need to promote the damn show and not cast so many useless people.
if they did the original format then they definitely need to switch up how they cast and imo, edit. i just want 7 interesting people. i feel like when they're casting it's like
"ok these 3 people can be our main storyline,"
"let's pick these 2 just to be in the background"
"shpuld we go with the pretty black girl or the drama filled black girl"
"oh that black guy likes girls and sex so we should definitely put them on"
"oh these two look like they would hookup so they can be our relationship this season"
and editing needs to be worked on. 3 months of footage and you can't find someway to give everyone screen time like how do we know who's a wallpaper and who is just being edited out. and if someone is a wallpaper you couldn't find a better person out of thousands of applications?
1 Asian, 1 Latino/Latina, 1 Arab or Indian, 2 blacks and 2 whites please. More diversity in cultural backgrounds is something I like. It'd be really cool if they cast a girl with a hijab with all the hate muslims get today, we could hear her side and understand her feelings

Honestly to be fair Aaron, Andre and Mohammed were wallpapers even then as well.
I also want them to lift the no fighting rule because this is The Real World and in real life people fight all the time. I'd rather see if they can try to make-up or will it continue to divide the house.

I would say they could toy with having a 10-person OG cast without a twist and see what that does.....
I don't know lmao but the problem is solely with BMP/MTV in general.

Almost every twist has included Exes though so do we really think the show can continue with those?
TBF I don't think Amanda was a twist she was just visiting.
Yes but they felt the need to include her and push that storyline.

They can never lift the fighting policy, because anybody can lie about there anger/violence in their past and they just can't take a chance like that or we'd have a lot more Beths and Jos.

I disagree with this. This show isn't bad girls club. Sure there can be verbal fights but fist fighting and continuing to stay in the house isn't cool with me.

That could potentially be a recipie for disaster though.
physical fighting does not make a season good. its the people and their backstories that make it good. cast 7 people each with a backstory and not just focus on 3 people and ignore the others....
They don't have to completely lift the fighting rule but there are instances like Theo's where he shouldn't have went home. Then they allowed Jenna to stay in the house and sent her home for pushing CeeJai AFTER she got her *** beat during the second fight. I think the rule should be based on brutality like obvious if you have someone bleeding you need to leave but not for a shoving match.

Complete with some Talone/Jela/Jaz & Jaimee types lmao
Men's side I feel was pretty good this season (they've all gotten into drama). Maybe a little bit more aggressive but I don't think they can honestly tell what these people will be like during the whole casting process. The way Anika came off was like she wouldn't hesitate to tell people about themselves.
Can we get another plus size person on the show too since they now pretend they don't exist. I was disgusted that on Explosion when Arielle's friend did the prank they judged his *** because he didn't feel the "Real World" mold.

Honestly, that shit upsets me like they were cousins. It wasn't like it was Theo/Mike Theo/Peter or Theo/Will. They just ****** that shit all up.

That was shady but served her right since she was shady to Ashley and constantly took Jamie's side.

you just wanna see Donnell return dont lie
He was Road Rules though.
so what lol they casting AYTO people now open the floodgates i say. want a plus size? get donnell and add in abram round 2

Only if they film in the summer though. I ain't trying to see a cast freezing their ***** off and stay cooped up inside all day

Id like to see them do a season in the hood of Baltimore or Chicago

Exactly. Which is why Boston annoyed the hell outta me but was still decent.
Complete with Karamo as the driver.

No. They just gotta get creative.

When Abe acted like he dragged Donnell but barely won.
