I think he's saying he doesn't want them to cast relatives or cast people midway through.
Not just relatives , exes and friends (Jonna/Derek) , All 7 strangers from different parts of the county already casue a new dynamic meant to be explored between production and the roomates.
Adding roommates in the middle of the experience is just too much especially when it increases the cast from 7 to 11 , and originally meant to increase to 14.

Casting doesn't look deep enough , Vegas production was pushed back as was Brooklyn both had great cast maybe they should just push production back everytime , usually the best applicant apply late or when they are fair along into casting then they get waitlisted for another season and usually life goes on. Marie and Sam were passed up a few times before they got casted , they should spend more time casting then we will get a season like Vegas 2.
Also something I have been thinking I actually think this season would have worked better if Brian and Lauren were the only exes brought in and they replaced Ashley , Arielle and Jay work better as individual characters , Thomas and Jamie had their relationship , Cory and Jenny were only hooking up and both seem to still harbour deep feeling for their ex , Something about the whole cast being in a realitionship is just wierd especially that no one will be an individual character once the Exes arrive.

That's not happening. The show will likely center around Ashley for 3 or 4 episodes and when she leaves the Exes will show up.

But the exes don't show up in at least the first 3 episodes.

Jamie is annoying in that clip like how does Ashley relationships even effect her? Jamie is obviously craving camera time in that clip and I hope she doesn't try and cry about Ashley saying she'd never have a man because of her tattoos. Also I don't see how Cory took huge offense to what Ashley said about her being better than him when it's obvious she's wasted. If you have a problem with it just address her when she's sober.
I feel like this aftershows are going to be great lol Hailey unfollowed Jamie and Ashley seems mad at her from her twitter after Jamie's spreetcast .

JAmie is Flawless to be quite honest , She says she's been cheated on so I understand where she was coming from but it's wasn't the right place but it was flaw free non the less , Ashley is turnt up to max I love it oh why oh why is this Ex-Plosion :( . I also love Jenny/Thomas/Cory/Arielle they all seem like fun people. I just don't know how to feel about Jay yet , his whole speech screamed scripted or well played.
