You know part of me does kind of feel bad for her. She went all the way to NYC, most likely on her own dime, for a sole purpose and was then told to leave. That does suck, and I'd be pretty pissed.
Yeah, well, her bad. No sympathy here.... :p
Plus, she's not trying to blackmail the cast mates into being friends with her. I think at the end of the day they respect her intentions, however "crazy" they seemed at times.
Which is more than we can say for some of the DC "stalkers".
I'm still standing by my original post, haha.
If she legit didn't do anything, then I don't understand why she got kicked out. However, I still think that the bloggers tried to make the entire season about them, hyped it up way to much, and look what happened. I never thought people would be excited for Fresh Meat 2 to come on.
RWDC is missing something, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe its because you can pretty much predict whats going to happen every episode..
Who the hell would want to stalk these losers? I guess a bigger loser.
I don't think anyone knew that this cast would turn out to be, in your own words, a bunch of "losers." I think those DC stalkers only stalked the cast because they were the cast of MTV's The Real World. And because of that, it didn't matter how cool or uncool this cast is.
Now I'm not defending anyone here, but my point is that I believe the stalkers didn't stalk the cast because of their personalities, but rather because they were from MTV's The Real World.
I don't think they are losers either, I actually think these cast members come off more likeable than a lot people on recent real world seasons in general, I guess the person to blame the season on is the editors. Its just kind of like, will they be talked about when the season is over?
One thing I can say good is that I like how they all still seem to be friends. The last two season it seemed like the cast hated each other when the reunion rolled around.
Edit: LOL at OPD, she don't care shes letting it all out...

I agree. I am not sure if it is that there is no real emotional connection with anyone on the cast or if it is that, except for maybe Mike, there really isn't that interesting of a story thus far. The people certainly do not seem to be growing/evolving much if at all over the season. I am at the point I have to record it and fast forward through any scene with Ty or Erika
I honestly think that with the season stretched over more episodes and more time we see more growth with the people. I really haven't seen much growth with anybody in these shows. In the past few seasons. The hour format really doesn't wokr.

I wonder if it is that everybody has a story so there is too much competition to get their story out at the expense of the others. I don't know. I think reunion shows are crap myself. Look at Brooklyn--apparently Ryan and Sarah got into it but that was never really shown and nobody has ever explained why Ryan hates/hated her, whichever the case may be. Cancun reunion was I am not sure what but a self-indulgent pity party for some of the cast. The *** They Should have shown was better on Cancun than the reunion. Unfortunately Brooklyn didn't have one. I think in the end BMP lets loose on the reigns so to lure the casts toward doing the challenges. If people are NOT yelling and being restrained by security, or really spilling the beans, it just isn't a good reunion IMO.
I think the Real World is just a stepping stone for the Challenge anymore. The casting choices and editing is pure laziness.
I agree. But the challenges aren't even good anymore after the first 3-4 episode. Examples= The Ruins (After Tonya Vs. Veronica it wasn't that good. Not even Brad Vs. Darell Was that Great.) The Duel 2. After the premiere it basicely sucked.

I agree. The last Challenge that was consistently enjoyable was Gauntlet 3.

I'll agree with you there, nothing has toped Gauntlet 3 since it aired.

Yeah I miss my old Real Worlds though..... :<
I am really shocked that the casting people chose Erika and Josh to be on the show. Out of all the people that apply to be on the RW, I find it shocking that these two made the final cut. What have we seen out of Josh other than his poor attempt at a garage band and screwing his girlfriend over? It sounded like he was basically living off Ashley in Philly if I recall correctly, so I wonder what he is doing now.
Erika, is either wallowing in her own self pity, singing alone in a room, yelling at someone to get off the phone, or whining to the other cast mates about her depression. At first I felt bad for her, but now her screen time is downright annoying to watch.
What's wrong with these casting directors?? Why don't they change it up a bit instead of ... well everyone knows how they cast these days, it sucks. Sometimes I wonder if it's the casting director's fault or the fact that when these people get on tv they are too afraid to say any and everything that they think because they realize the reprecussions of having every explosion aired on tv. Back in the earlier RW days, they weren't scared to cause trouble... and I don't mean: small argument-makeup, I mean: I hate you I can't stand living with you or being around you trouble.
The casting direcor follows what type season it is Serious/Party and fail to see that everyone acts to similiar the only thing older season has is newerness and broad range of personas. You had a parier,a serious person now they cast season based on one type person just to different degrees causing small random arguements that get resolved because all the people are the same,Party seasons will always have season long drama ,But serious season will alwayss have resolved drama because there the type that need to fix it right away while most party season thats not a big priority most of the time.
I think the casting directors get caught up in trying to pull 8 people together that will tell somewhat of a story they want to tell. What I feel they are forgetting is that when you put 8 interesting people in a house together that storylines will naturally occur. They need to shift their focus to picking memorable casts members and not 8 people that tell the exact story they want to share.
I think you guys hit the nail on the head. They directors cast people with the storylines already written in their head.
I understand their job isn't easy -- after all, BMP received 18,000 people each season that audition. So naturally, there needs to be some criteria to help narrow down the large numbers.
However, the problem is they need to be more flexible in realizing interesting people or adjust to shifting trends in the world. But instance -- since they were going to DC -- the casting directors need to be sensitive to national debates that were going on -- this summer, it was healthcare...they should have had a tea party member in the house with someone with healthcare needs. But I guess that would just have made way too much sense. lol.
I think you guys hit the nail on the head. They directors cast people with the storylines already written in their head.
For once I agree with you. BMP needs to start exanding their horizons and stop picking the same people over and over again.
They Need to pick 8 people who will each bring something new and interesting to the show not just party people who pretend to have goals and asparations.
I wouldn't blame the casting director cause he has definitely cast some really good cast members in the past and on other shows. Bad Girls Club this season was amazing. I honestly think that when people are in the casting process, they try and front and act like someone a bit more outrageous than they really are. I mean I remember Jodi talked in her casting interview about being in a threesome with her friend. Literally, these people will say anything to get cast and then once they are, they'll slowly melt back into the person they really are and sometimes, it's not that interesting.
And another thing- they used to cast people who were extremely different. A mormon, a party sorority girl, a biracial comedian, a gay guy in a relationship with a marine, a player, a catholic conservative, and preppy boy are all extremely different. (this is new orleans cast btw). Now with DC you have a girl who used to be in a cult, a girl who is self-conscious about her weight, a b**** liberal, a musician... oh wait, 2 musicians, a ******** man, a goof off, and a anti-religious black male with a rough past. None of those things really seem to be different or anything special.
