So I re-watched some of it today and I seen Ayiiia! She stood up and clapped when Jim Carrey got his award. Lookin good girl!
She posted pics on her Twitter of her dress and shoes. Smokin'!
I'm a little late(because of work) on this but I saw you on the awards. It seriously was hard for me to pay attention to the tv because, I don't know about anybody else but the award shows on MTV have gotten way to boring. I kept wanting to change the channel but I didn't only because I was afraid I would miss you guys on the show.
Ayiiia, you are one tough girl to spot. I was *pinches finger together really closely* this close to missing you. I personally think they should have let the whole cast give out an award or something. MTV hardly shows the trailers as it is and the show is premiering this month. I hope ratings won"t be lower than all the other seasons.
BTW, How did you manage to snag tickets to the show Ayiiia? I am so jealous that you got to go...the dressing up, the famous people...I bet it was a super entertaining environment, LOL.

One of my friends was invited therefore i tagged along :)
I got us to the front though, I'm quite the 007 agent ;) hahaha
It was fantastic to be there, very hectic and fun but it mostly inspired me to work my ass off so I can actually accept one one day.... VERY inspiring.

So I was watching last night and I saw you and your friend When Jim Carrey was talking to Andy about doing some of his songs, I saw you guys cheer him on...it was cute. I loved your dress...and I don't even like pink so you know you rocked it :D LOL.
So that was Ayiia? I saw it and thought so, but I spent a lot of the night looking for her and some other RWers that were supposed to be there, so I was definitely wanting it to be her.
You looked great!
Not to say that you "acted" on the show, but people will get to see who you are. You'll laugh, cry, experience dramatic and serious moments, and most importantly you'll stay true to yourself. I'm sure you've seen many doors open for real world stars and I don't see why those opportunities won't be there waiting for you.

:wink2: sorry to give you guys a game of "where's waldo" hehe.
18 more days you guys! Eeeee***.
i can't wait! :devil2:
She and Jasmine are my favorite girls! Emilee seems too insecure, and Jonna seems cool but I don't think there was enough of her on the first episode. Who knows though maybe my opinions will change later on.
I just saw Ayiiia in an "I Love You Beth Cooper" commercial. I guess it was a mix of a promotion for Real World and the movie?
Yeah, cause I think I saw Derek and Jonna in one.
ayiiia tonights episode was the hardest thing for me to watch because i have a friend who is currently dealing with her own problem with cutting. It scared the crap out of me when i saw the cuts all the way up her arm. the group of freinds we hang with noticed it but no one knew how to deal with it..i mean u hear about these things but when ur in highschool u dont think its real espeacially when its someone in our own circle. after constant questioning a couple of us took her to the school counselor and THANKFULLY they got her the help that she needed....but now im scared to mess around with her u know like the joking and teasong eachother. i dont kno how hard she will take something and the last thing i want is for her to do deal with it the way she has been. our whole group wants to try to ignore it but its so hard and she isnt willing to talk to us about it cuz she is embarrassed...but my question is what was it tht ur freinds did to help u and most importantly how can i help my friend?? this prolly isnt the best place to ask but i totally missed the website at the end of the episode and dont know anyother way and im afraid to tell my parents cuz they might tell me to stop hanging out with her.
Ayiiia, I broke down watching you tonight. Really. I was a cutter and was admitted for it, and I know what it is like to be there, so low that you can't come back, that point where being hurt is better than being anything else. You can't see anything else but the pain. I feel like you have made me realize so much and want to better myself even more than I have tried to do. I cannot express in words, or in actions how much I apreciate you for being yourself, and going on this show to represent everyone with issues, with a REAL story. I have tried killing myself before and I realize that maybe there is more...You have helped me. Te quiero.
I don't understand why Ayiia was allowed to remain on the show after cutting herself. The situation reminds me of the time Ruthie from RW Hawaii was so intoxicated the producers decided she was a threat to herself and others.
If someone is cutting themselves whether it be for attention or some other reason, they should probably be removed from the show to seek psychological help. Not to mention Ayiia appeared to be intoxicated, which likely heightened the feelings she was experiencing. I know these shows are highly edited but it seems like a tremendous liability to allow Ayiia to stay after she purposely inflicted harm on herself.
Wasn't Frankie from San Diego a cutter as well?
Oh yeah now that you mention it I believe she was. One of my close friends in high school was a cutter, pretty bad stuff and it broke my heart...After a lot of time and therapy, she overcame it.
Although having this on air is probably a very difficult ordeal for Ayiiia, I think it will have a positive affect overall. Cutting is so little-discussed because it tends to be seen as "shameful" or "gross", but I hope someone (or someones) out there see this and realize they are not alone.
