Real World Cancun: 5 episodes left?

Real World Cancun: 5 episodes left?
It says on the MTV website in the description of the sneak peak that there are only 5 episodes left. Why arent there 13 this season like the last two. I was thinking that they were needing to expand the episode count, not decrease it by 3!

That was the rumor for a while but i thought i had heard they were sent home regularly before the swine flu had become too much of an issue.

Most likely the ratings had something to do with it. If a season does poorly, logically they would shorten the season to quickly jump into the next challenge and hope for the best. Honestly, this is the first season of the Real World that I'm not watching since San Diego.

Woah! Only 5 more episodes? This season will be done by the end on the summer. Maybe they're trying to have shorter RW seasons, so they can have more seasons, so they can have more people for challenges. But it probably has a lot to do with ratings.

I'm really confused... mtv.com says 5 episodes left, but the BMP website says there is 12 episodes this season. According to this, [URL="http://www.bunim-murray.com/index.php?session=music&id=38"]RW: XXII - Music[/URL] Look at the top, it has 12 episodes listed.
