With the amount of time the cast spent on stage with tape rolling, it could be edited either way. I think you will like the host who actually watched the season without having a contract to do so. The host also frequently went off script to actually follow up on things the cast said. I don't think the audience knew what a rare event they were attending.

Many will recognize the host, and the host is new to this venue. Can't say more without giving too much away.

Well thats a relief because I have become fed up with these pitiful excuses for hosts who obviously do not watch the show and could care less about what needs to be addressed and are only there to collect a paycheck and look stupid!

This is very good to know, after the fiasco that was "The Real World Hollywood reunion," they needed to go a different direction. The host of the last RW reunion was a joke.
MTV does not have a problem if I say this...
I was standing in the hallway backstage when the host walked into a dressing room about 25 feet away and I thought to myself: "Wow, the VJs here are getting hot. Much better than a decade ago when Kennedy was here." Then I remembered that TRL is gone are so are the awful hosts. Hmmm...
A few minutes later, the host came out of the dressing room and walked past me on the way to the control room. The light bulb went on in my pea size brain and I realized that MTV had brought in a pro.
