This aftershow is actually pretty good
Much better than the denver one. I see someone finally decided lets put an aftershow format for the real world like we did the hills.
I'm really excited for this season. The past few seasons I have just watched because there was nothing else on at that time. With this I feel like I'm going to make sure I'm home every Wednesday at 10 to watch it.
And I'm loving the aftershow!
The aftershow's great but there could have been a better host than Mark (since he was a road ruler).
That, and I'm sick of seeing the same played-out and annoying RWers like Brad, Paula and Jenn.
But I am impressed with the season premiere. I was not disappointed and look forward to future episodes.
This is the best Aftershow I've ever seen, even with Paula being there. Mark is doing a nice job of being curious for all of us without being disrespectful or goofy. The Katelynn we are seeing on the Aftershow is the one I saw in NY. She is an amazingly strong person.

Yeah I totally cringed when I saw Paula.
I'm glad The Aftershow host is someone who is familiar, at least. I know he's a Roadie, which I thought was a little odd, but at least he's with the franchise, and he's very experienced in hosting. He's already better than the reunion hosts who are VJs. I like them keeping it in the family. Good for you Mark.
I am hoping the panelists change up from time to time to see different cast members.
I noticed that Kate crossed her arms when Ryan came into the room. It is all about reading body language...
Oh and did anyone catch that Kate said she was "friends with JD at that time..." when responding to Mark's question about dinner?
Foreshadowing. I see visions of the future! (er...I think.)
I think when Katelynn made that J.D. comment she was more or less meaning that at the time that's who she felt a bond with to open up to. That's just how I took it.
It would bee refreshing to see an older castmember on the panel like lets say, Heather B or Judd, if they can get them to do it.
I'm not sure if Judd'll host (he seems to be living his life, focusing on his career, and keeping Pedro's memory alive), but I think they could get Heather back. She'd be a good host.

I could not disagree with you more. Mark may have been an original Road Ruler, but he long ago moved on. He covered three years of RW houses as a correspondent for Fox Reality. I've been interviewed by him on two occasions and never saw a hint of him as a RR guy. He just forms an instant rapport with people and they open up to him. It's a great quality. He's certainly a better host as a baseline than past hosts or any of the possible trainwreck people in MTV's employ.

I think you're reading a little too much into things -- at least that is my impression from briefly talking to the cast.
Whoa, what was with all of the clips of JD losing his cool? I wonder what goes down to make him lose his cool, calm demeanor.
Just have to wait and see throughout the season.
I'm really enjoying the cast so far. I'm very pleasantly suprised. Thank you BMP/MTV.... Thank you.
Mark.... kudos to you too. You're doing a magnificent job.
I could have lived without Jenn.
JD breaking the table seemed to be the only "big drama" thing they showed in the previews. I wonder if this season will be like the Philadelphia season - you saw a "soon to come" preview halfway through and there was extra stuff previewed. I don't know if that was shown in the season's previews after the first episode.
I could have lived without Jenn.
I noticed you have a thing about Jenn. I'm just curious what it is about her you don't like. I didn't watch the Denver season, but she seemed likable on challenges to me.
Ugh, Paula is such an attention *****. This is Katelynn's moment, not yours.
Suprisingly, Paula has not bothered me so far atleast. My first impressions of the cast:
Love Katelynn! I have a cousin who is just like her, minus the operation. I think she may be the most interesting person to ever enter The Real World. I hope my cousin is watching because there is not anyone he has in his life to relate to at all.
Ryan...I liked him at first but towards the end he was giving me a bad vibe, along with Chet. Looking at the previews of the season, I know that there characters will rub me wrong in certain situations. However, I have a lot of hope for Ryan to redeem himself, but Chet I am not sure...I do love his dimples though! But I just got to remind myself not to make up my mind about everyone after the first episode, lol.....I will keep watching.
JD really touches my heart so far because of his childhood . I know we see him smashing a table but I also saw a lot of cruel pranks happening, and I know of him being the target atleast once. Obviously, I dont know him. I am just keeping an open mind to the out-of-control temper scene we were shown.
I like the girls they all seem fun so far. I think Baya is adorable!
Scott seemed uninteresting to me at first, but there were moments where he seemed more mature than some others in the house and I really respected him to not get into the gossip so much about Katelynn. I think out of the entire roomates he and Devyn are most likely to hook up, but I really dont get too interested in that part of the show.
RW Brooklyn and aftershow has done what other real worlds haven't brought the older viewers and younger viewers together. And we all feel a little more intellectual after it. Bravo MTV, and BMP, Bravo.
I was wrong in my guess about the Aftershow taping. It was done by BMP and not by MTV. I don't understand why Jon Murray was so understated about it when I asked him about it in early December. Maybe MTV had not committed to it yet. I'm glad they did.
Anyway, I just talked to Mark and invited him to check out vevmo, so Mark, if you are reading this, welcome, and well done. (He didn't know about vevmo)
I just have one question, Did Katelynn get a **** job? cause if she did, i mean like she should of gone bigger! Well my opinion, but does anyone know?
Perhaps Katelynn herself will answer your question.
one last thing...I was very sad that there were no duel 2 teasers...I thought with all the duel 2 alumni in the house that it meant we were in for a treat. hopefully soon....
Next week(or the week after) im going to have to watch real world dvr style because Lost is back, so not sure if im going to be really involved with commenting on the roomates, lost takes up all my brain cells. anyway it sucks 2 of my fav shows have to be playing the same damn time. If any cast members are reading, good luck , and congrats. So far it looks truly promising and Im really looking foward to watching
