The Real World: Back To...
Have you guys seen how they sent the vegas rw back in there for 2 weeks, dont you guys think they should do it again with another season. if so which season would you guys like for them to do that with? jw and i would say AUSTIN my favorite season =)
I'd prefer it be done with one of the season from the first 11 if they did it again. But realistically, I think the later seasons are most likely. So, thinking realistically, I'd pick Philadelphia or San Diego. A pick that I think would be unrealistic, but I'd like it still would be Back to New York, Miami, or the first season of RW.
yea thats what i thought too, they wouldnt do a recent season, but austin was the first season i ever saw, and my favorite so far =)
I agree that San Diego was phenom, but I doubt they could "send them back" if one of the cast members isn't alive anymore. I'd be thoroughly disappointed.

I'd say San Diego or Chicago....
Boston. Hands down. Tis a great city for kids that age with over 250,000 college students in the metro area.

I guess I was just thinking they seemed least likely to do it than the other past seasons I thought about, with Kameelah being a doctor and Sean having a big family and being a DA now. But that season is one of my favorites for sure. San Diego would be sad since Frankie died, but don't forget she eventually left and was replaced. So they could use the replacement cast member.
I heard before doing it for Vegas, they wanted to reunite Austin but one of the cast declined or couldn't do it, so they went with Vegas.
Id want to see Chicago, Back to New York or Miami
I heard before doing it for Vegas, they wanted to reunite Austin but one of the cast declined or couldn't do it, so they went with Vegas.
I read that somewhere as well. It was surprising to hear they couldn't do it or declined. I MUCH preferred to see the Vegas cast, though. I am not fond of the Austin season. Besides, Vegas had more drama outside the shows with each other that made it interesting to see what would happen once they were together again.
They will probably do it, because austin was voted Favorite season of the rw so far, and by far the most popular, cause everyone seems to know about it, but brooklyn looks like its going to be my favorite, a transgender, **** ganna be sick and does any1 know if its ganna show thats shes a man, or only around the end? and just curious, how much does a *** change operation cost? Must be pretty expensive huh
just curious, how much does a *** change operation cost?
$9000 in Thailand.
The original Vegas season had a 4.1 rating average. The "reunited" season only pulled 1,388,000 in its premier in May 2007. Since the ratings for the original show were the best ever for the show, and the remake's ratings better than The Island challenge, the remake still represents a substantial loss of viewers from those who watch the original series. Given such a large loss between original and remake, it is logical for the network see the possibility of any other sequel sustaining a similar percentage loss of viewers. For something like Austin, which topped out at about 2.5M in the 18-34 demo, they might expect fewer than 1M to watch. That is not worth the investment, in my opinion, given the high cost of "buying" the cast. Vegas Reunited was very, very expensive.
Maybe it would work better in an "updated reunion" format instead of a two week stay. Just a day or two of them catching up with each other and talking about how they feel about each other, what's happened with so and so since, etc. But I think it's fine and understandable that BMP/MTV might now renew this series. Didn't the LV Reunited come on in the afternoon? If so, that might have not been the best time slot.

the sneek peak probably killed the viewership for the 10 pm airing. I would die to see New York be reunited or Los Angeles.
the sneek peak probably killed the viewership for the 10 pm airing. I would die to see New York be reunited or Los Angeles.
Not really. The daytime ratings were insignificant. In fact, all cable daytime ratings are. Los Angeles would not be with the entire cast.
Even though it's extremely unlikely, I would love to see Chicago, New Orleans, Hawaii, San diego, San Francisco, or the original New York cast reunited. Although San Francisco would be sad without Pedro, and San Diego would be sad without Frankie.
I doubt they would do Ausin. Wes and Johanna aren't on speaking terms I believe? Thats how I take it since he did not come to the rw bash
I doubt they would do Ausin. Wes and Johanna aren't on speaking terms I believe? Thats how I take it since he did not come to the rw bash
They are on speaking terms. Wherever did you get the idea that they were not? I've written about this before at vevmo.
I heard before doing it for Vegas, they wanted to reunite Austin but one of the cast declined or couldn't do it, so they went with Vegas.
No, I think it had to do with production problems, or something like that.
how about Back to New York? Not the first season, but Season 10.
A pick that I think would be unrealistic, but I'd like it still would be Back to New York, Miami, or the first season of RW.
It may be hard to get the earlier casts together for however long Vegas was reunited, but it doesn't mean they couldn't give up a weekend of their lives to spend time together, and make an hour-long one episode special out of it. The complete first cast hasn't been together since '93 (that reunion leading in to the LA season). During the first big reunion (first four seasons), Andre skipped out, and during the large one in 2000/2001 (I can't remember what year), Julie wasn't there because she was giving birth to her first child. I think LA would be hard but not impossible, since two people from that cast want nothing to do with RW/BMP anymore.

Do you guys remember when they had that huge reunion? I think it was like 5 seasons. I wish they would do it again
Well, they just had a reunion this spring...
No, not the awards bash. It was a regular reunion but it had a couple of seasons in it. I remember watching it when I was younger.
I think the Awards Bash was essentially a reunion under the guise of a roast/awards show. I think that may be the closest we will get to a reunion with all the seasons. I think that's what Bacchus meant. Though I must say I too would prefer an actual reunion that focused on reliving some old memories and updating us on what's going on with them now. realitywedding, that's exactly what I think they should do for future reuniting of full casts. Especially since the LV Reunited was supposedly a bust overall in terms of ratings and costs. Just get everyone together for a day or two and let make that be the special. Some people don't have two weeks to give up like the LV cast managed to have.
No, not the awards bash. It was a regular reunion but it had a couple of seasons in it. I remember watching it when I was younger.
Right, but what I am saying is the awards bash was the reunion. With a hundred plus cast members, you are not going to see an intimate setting. Edit: Yes, that is what I meant RW561015. ;)
I remember the reunion they did right before Back to New York aired, where they had just about all the casts pre-B2NY for a photo shoot or something I don't remember it exactly, its been so many years since I seen it, but all I remember from it was Puck being there and some issues with him that his mom had to handle its was the reunion that realitywedding was talking about that Andre didn't show up to
