I want to see some comments from people who saw Green Room
This too. Even though I've yet to see a television commercial much less a radio advertisement.
I actually saw it on Friday, but don't want to give anything away for people who haven't seen it. I thought it was pretty good. Really intense & gruesome.
The plot to this is intriguing the more I watch the trailer. American History X type ish.
I thought Civil War was one of the greatest Marvel movies but it still had some flaws I mean it's a Marvel movie duhhh...
One of my issues with the film is the moral dilemma which everyone agrees to but CAP, you mean to tell me that instead of the whole entire globe being terminated, hundreds of people die, and that results to the avengers having to be "put in check" ? What bothered me about this stupid idea, is how it was accepted by almost every character in this film, it felt like a forced plot device just so the avengers get mad at eachother.
I never was a Captain America fan, I didn't like the first avenger and I thought the winter soldier was a bit overrated (I enjoyed it nonetheless), he was okay in both Avengers I guess but the point is I always thought he was blehhh. He managed to pull me to his side on this one, which didn't take much effort after thinking about it, considering how much of a ********* Iron Man was in this film.
Speaking of Iron Man, ughhh he was such an annoying dumb character it was almost unbearable. He tries to argue that the avengers need to be "put in check" but I can't even take him seriously since his arguments make him look like such a ******* hypocrite.
One thing I was very disappointed about after walking out of the cinema was that nobody died, I sooooooo wished that War Machine would of died just so it proves that Marvel is capable of walking out from their comfort zone, the film itself would of had an even bigger impact and would of been the talk of the planet if CAP/Iron Man ended up being killed off in the third act.
Nonetheless this was still a very enjoyable film, I loved Spiderman (they actually finally got his character right), I liked Black Panther, The Vision, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man and I am looking forward to seeing each of their upcoming solo films in the future (if there is one in Scarlet Witch and The vision's case)
My problem was villians, marvel can not do them right besides Loki.Like crossbone? Why? Pointless af.
And i wished to see more vision in action. He is probably one of the strongest there, if not the strongest but in both movies he have been in he is kinda holding back. I liked him in regular parts but in fighting, i wished more bc he is so likeable and cool.
Antman is perfect, i hope people now go see antman movie bc it was cool too.
Spiderman was funny, i laughed so hard. Def did him right, aunt was too hot imo. Like she should not be ********.
Black Panther was awesome, so excited to see his movie.
I always been cap fan, winter soldier is my fave and i love him still

That was intentional since The Vision could literally end the battle before it even starts. He and Wanda are two overpowered characters and if their entire powers would unleash, nothing could ever stop them so it would make sense for both of them to hold back when it comes to fighting.

Easily the best horror movie of the decade so far.
This is just funny. It's just an okay film to me, even know a lot of people enjoyed this film. But saying it's the best horror film of the decade is just not true.

The babadook was not scary to me... I mean it's not one of those cheap jump scare typical horror movies. It does has creepy imagery, but creepy enough to be scary? No. But that doesn't mean I didn't dislike the movie. It was bomb asf because of the meaning behind the "babadook", jaw dropping and that ending...
Adding: I swear they used some cheap T-Rex sound roar at one point in the movie lmaooo. That's my only complaint about it.

Yeah let's take the word of the person who enjoyed films like The Gallows, The Boy, The Strangers and The Forest....and then had the audacity to call films like The Witch and It Follows "boring" or "okay" HA yeah no.
I don't see you throwing any suggestions of films to be in that spot even after I suggested for anyone to do so, which makes me conclude that the Babadook is infact the best horror movie of the decade.
of the current decade, some of my faves have been The Cabin in the Woods, The Loved Ones, The Crazies, and You're Next... i'm a sucker for slasher these were all really well made in my opinion and all have great rewatchability

If a horror movie fails to be scary/horrifying... it is not the best of its genre, imho. It can have top acting, be very well written, and tell and somewhat interesting creepy story... but the whole point of horror movies are to scare its audience. That's the #1 reason they are made. This is why I wont ever put The Babadook, It Follows, or The Witch at the top. Yes they are all very well made and written.. and its a slow burn which can still be scary (The Shining?)... but they all failed to scare me properly. I will say, we all define scary very differently, so I won't put down others that found those three movies scary. The genre is so broad you can't just pick one movie that stands above the rest, really... :/

This whole post is full of errors.
"if a horror movie fails to be scary/horrifying...it is not the best of its genre" This is the most ridiculous thing posted in this entire thread imo. Have you forgotten that each genre hast multiple subgenres ? For horror movies there are countless subgenres that include comedy; Evil Dead 2, Scream and Drag Me To Hell are three hilarious films that are at the same time horror movies, and guess what ? They are considered the best horror films ever made...ever. So we can fairly scrap out your ridiculous idea of "it didn't scare me so it's not as much of a horror film as the other cheap jumpscares filled film" and plus you've literally just contradicted yourself by saying that Cabin in the woods and you're next are one of your favorites.
"Horror is a film genre seeking to elicit a negative emotional reaction from viewers by playing on the audience's primal fears" this is literally the definition of a horror film. So no, the objective of a horror film isn't always to scare you, it might be to creep you out, or disturb you, or as the definition says playing on the fears of an audience member which for someone else may not be scary (do you see my point here ?). And I can prove your theory to even be more wrong than it already is by your own logic, you and some others consider a jumpscares filled movie to be scary, which is completley wrong because jumpscares cause you to starle, not be scared; the startle response is a largely unconscious defensive response to sudden or threatening stimuli, such as sudden noise or sharp movement, from that we can all conclude that a ******* butterfly can cause you to startle, but does it mean that it scared you...nope.
Haven't you previously said that you haven't watched the babadook yet ? Then how could you determine if it qualifies to be on the top or not, I'm confused...
I think you and most of the audience forget that before a horror movie is a horror movie, it's actually a ******* movie, so it HAS TO follow certain criterias to be a movie, if it doesn't, it will be listed as another dumb horror movie (The Gallows, the strangers, ouija, annabelle etc...)
And yes slow burns are scary, most people are just too stupid to understand it !!! slow burns infact are the best type of horror films (The shinning, psycho, the others etc...).
"The genre is so broad you can't just pick one movie that stands above the rest" actually you can, I just did, and many others have done so in the past, and it has been done for about a trillon other times as of today.

Does anybody actively know how Dylan o' Brien's doing? Stunts are crazy yo

Babadook any good?
Not as great as they try to make it out to be. But then again maybe you should ask DF since this is one of the horror movies he was drooling over.
Easily the best horror movie of the decade so far.
oO RLY?
Yupppp, name a movie that could (supposedly) come close to it or surpass it and I will gladly argue against it.
not worth the effort :P

I wasn't scared by the Babadook. The conjuring still ***** me up I think that's the best horror movie of the 2010's so far tbh
This is laughable.
and mitch get ready for a novella that I'm about to write because your post is quite honestly ridiculous.
Did the boy scare you? Bc even i was not scared, at all and i am biggest cry baby when it comes to horror movies
If anyone was scared of the boy....LMAO even that thought is laughable saying it outloud.
