To the Scream fans out there, does anyone remember Joel in Scream 2? Gale's new reporter? I thought he was hilarious! I like how he was smart and left right away when Dewey, Gale and Randy were talking about who could be the killers. He cracked me up when he was like "I'm gonna get some donuts, some Prozac; see if I find some crack, Special K, X, not Malcom....and I'll be back when y'all talk about something a little more Saved By The Bell-ish." I wish he appeared in the other Scream films because he is one of the most underrated characters imo.
youMEAN Duane Martin. He is married to Martin's Gina since 1991. I thought my buddy Justin would know his name.
And its so funny he mentioned SBTB considering the 1997 season took the show in a whole new direction that resulted in its 2000 cancellation, I blame Sarah Lancaster's Rachel Myers for leaving.
Haha my bad I forgot his name! I loved his character on Scream, he should've appeared in the other movies. He had some funny one-liners and was one of the smarter characters.
I never even watched Saved By The Bell: The New Class because I heard it was terrible. The only scenes I watched are the youtube clips of Zack, Slater and Lisa visiting Screech and Mr. Belding lol

Nah you're good. I forgot Tischa Campbell's name myself.
As far as TNC is concerned it wasn't really terrible (I liked it better because there was no ******* Zack/Kelly drama or talking to the camera) a But if you are going to watch it just realize it didn get good until season 2 as season 1 they were using copycat charateristics. And avoid season 5, 6 and 7 at all cost.
He was definitely one of my favorite directors, he made such an influence on the horror genre ! So sad to see him go
He was also one of my favourite directors.. definitely my favourite Horror director. Scream was everything to me. His death is a great loss to the genre and he will be sorely missed by all. RIP

Still can't believe Wes Craven passed. He'll always be one of my favorite directors! Bischoff and I were just talking about our love for the Scream films three days ago. I want to host a Screamathon someday and invite all the die hard Scream fans I know lol similar to the "stabathon" the characters went to in the fourth film.

Yes. I can't believe he passed. I'm such a horror movie buff that I watched just about every movie he directed. Scream and Nightmare on Elm Street will always remain classics. He also directed groundbreaking films like The Hills Have Eyes and the very controversial Last House on the Left. He definitely left in impact in cinema history.

I only found out last night through my cnn notification notice. I figured since he wasnt in the news that much that either he was arrrested, raped somebody or had died (shockingly it was the latter). Not trying to sound crazy or anything but I lowkey wish it was arrest because now its going to be weird not seeing NOES/Scream anymore.
Hell they better either leave it up to the family. And not do something like that ******* new Tattoo book.
It's that time of year again!!! The Toronto International Film Festival begins tomorrow and my movie reviews will soon be coming in! This year my list includes a screening of Sicario (Emily Blunt - DEA/Drug War/Cartel - Action/Thriller) along with the premieres of The Danish Girl (Eddie Redmayne - First Transgender Op/1920s - Drama/Oscar Bait), High-Rise (Tom Hiddleston - Social Class War/RetroFuturistic - Drama/Thriller - World Premiere + extended Q&A), Room (Brie Larson - Captivity/Mother & Son - Drama), and The Witch (1630's New England/Kidnapping/Village+Forest - Horror/Thriller - "best horror in years")
Was hoping I could score tickets to The Martian premiere, but I'm pretty satisfied with the schedule I already have. Besides it comes out in like 3 weeks anyways! haha
You definitely need to give reviews for Sicario & The Witch I plan on seeing both of those movies. I think The Witch might end being a bust though. I never trust horror movies when they use tag lines like "the best horror in years" lol. I will judge that for myself.
Does anyone go to film festivals, or have gone? I wanted to go to Sundance next year, just wondering how the experience is.
I have never been to a film festival but I want to go so bad! How do people get tickets for those?
I'm looking into it, so if I get some info, I'll make sure to let you know. But I was also thinking of going the volunteering route. I think it can be a cool experience cause I'll get some different exposure than just mindless walking to a festival I'm not sure about. You know what I mean? lol

Let me know how Room is. I just saw the trailer yesterday I really want to watch it! I want to read the novel it is based on too.
Film festivals are definitely worth it for those thinking of going. Celebrities who show up tend to stick around to sign and take pictures for free after they do a panel or premiere their movie. Two years ago I met Charlie Hunnam , Dane Deehan , Seth Rogen at sundance. You have to play it cool though don't ask for an autograph or picture right away make some small talk first. Unlike comic conventions that charge the shit out of you these days. It's 50 dollars to get in comic cons like wizard world and then an extra 100 to take a photo op with actors like Norman Reedus from the walking dead. Film festivals never charge for those kind of things because kids aren't really around for them and it's not a family type of thing like comic cons are.
Rumor about one of my favorite Stephen King movies "IT" is getting a remake
old news. Pennywise has been cast as well.

cool. I'm thinking of watching it this Wednesday.
Nice, dont expect too much tho. Its just a fun movie.

Yep. Very average but still ok. I think it was either the first half or the second half that was slow going.
word!
if you do Im down.
Speaking of the Stab-a-thon they finished them too quickly at that event which is weird even for movies.

Good to know! Maybe a vevmo field day one day? Lol. All jokes aside, what film festivals have you gone to Tyler?
