Life on Mars
Did anyone else catch the premiere of Life on Mars? I just finished watching and loved it. Sure the acting at times left a little to be desired and the unpredictable circumstances were somewhat predictable, but the sound track was great and there was enough mystery and novelty to make an entertaining show. I am a sucker for fish out of water time travel shows like last year's Journeyman or the ever classic Quantum leap. Maybe that means we will see some of the characters that are now out of work from that series in future episodes. Wait, didn't Laura Prepon recently finish a run on a series based in the 70's? lol. On an even more interesting note, check out the promo for the series before it was reshot and recast! Same premise, but totally different at the same time. I gotcha on the soundtrack, but other than that I wasn't really feeling it.

I'll give it one more week. I'm thinking I'm liking the original trailer casting better.
I'll give it one more week. I'm thinking I'm liking the original trailer casting better.
It took a dive this week and went from Ok to horrible. The writing was so bad in episode two that I quit halfway through...
I actually paid attention throughout this one. But it still wasn't any better than the pilot. My husband seems to like it, but we often don't like the same shows. I'm not invested. I could care less if he's stuck in 1972 or if he finds his way home to his comatose body in 2008. The only reason I tuned in (I actually wanted to watch The Eleventh Hour on CBS instead) was because you were all hyped up about it. I wasn't sold on the endless promos. So, I think I'm done. Going to switch to CBS next Thursday.
