Hey all, I got this article off of another message board I post on. I am trying to get the source, but thought you all would enjoy a good chuckle from this...
MTV says, 'hey guys, spend two months of your lives on this site voting for the top person who you want to see on the show' and then they kicked me out for nothing. I didn't get it, I don't get it now, and I'm not trying to get it so that's why my relationship with Bunim/Murray is non-existent."
Halstead skipped 'The Real World: Hollywood' cast reunion episode that aired recently and vows to never participate in any future Bunim/Murray-produced franchises.
"I won't be on any the 'Real World/Road Rules' challenges or nothing," he declared. "The only thing I'm doing potentially is the MTV Video Music Awards after I finish doing movies and things like that, which I have in the works now. That will be the only thing I'll be doing. There will be no reunion shows, no ' Hollywood: Two Years Later' or none of that. There's nothing between me and Bunim/Murray anymore. They trashed me out, did me wrong. I know they did me wrong. Everyone in the world thinks that was the most ridiculous trash in the world so they don't explain themselves and think they can do anything they want to do. Now, they're begging me to do the reunion show and I'm like, 'I don't need you so no, I'm not doing it.'"
And if it appears that Halstead doesn't mince words in regard to 'The Real World's' producers, the mere mention of his roommates has him lashing out.
Kimberly: "A straight-up clown! She's a racist. Foolish. Ugly. Hypocrite. !%$$-Blocker. Big Mouth. That's about it."
Dave: "Napoleonic complex. As [the finale] will show you, he's all talk and no back up. He's always telling me, 'Oh you're 6'2 or 6'5, black and you don't understand I'll whip your ***.' [That] episode detailed how much of a Tom he is."
Sarah: "The biggest hypocrite of the house. Everything she did and was just hypocritical. I don't know if you remember, but she called her mom about Bri having sex in that bed and crying. Kim and Dave had sex in that bed. They had sex like rabbits and obviously Sarah never chose to call her mom about them or ask them about it. Again, she is just the biggest hypocrite that was ever created. She's self righteous and all that stuff."
Brianna: "She's very two-faced to me. I don't really like her. She just is always threatening to beat someone's *** and all this other trash and she doesn't do anything. I don't believe in talking if you're not gonna do anything. Clearly we know that you're not supposed to fight on the show so I don't understand why people just love talking about fighting. It's just ignorant to me. So she was aggravating. She definitely !%$$-blocked me on a couple of occasions. Again, she's always trying to be cool with Kim and Sarah even though they just bash her out all the time behind her back. She was just really stupid. Brianna looks worse than an albino in real life, actually. She does have a very albino appeal. When she takes off her makeup, it's like a horror show. Her makeup keeps her looking decent. When you see her in confessionals on the show, she's always made up with heavy makeup. When we saw her without the makeup, she's really pale. She looks so weird when she takes off all of her makeup. I thought the female cast members this season were atrocious. I've seen the other seasons and there was always at least one female who was attractive to society standards. This show is just terrible and Sarah was the most decent looking one, but she was like the mother of Mary."
Will: "Out of all the characters, I probably dislike him the most. He's just very phony and very fake. He's a compulsive liar. He just says one thing and does another all the time. He's just very funny. I told him at the beginning of the show that he was a player. It was just me and him talking so it wasn't like I was blowing up his spot. He was like, 'No, I like girls and I wanna be in love. I'm into the moral relationship thing.' But then, he's out here trashing out, having threesomes and foursomes and cheating on Janelle. It's like, dude, 'come on.'"
The only roommate that Halstead does have positive reflections of is Joey, who went into rehab for drug and alcohol abuse during the series.
"Joey is misunderstood, crazy, fun, honest and loyal," he offered.
But now that the show is over and Halstead is back to "reality," would he participate in 'The Real World: Hollywood ' if he had it to do all over again?
"I would do the show again the exact same way," he affirmed.
Moving forward, Halstead said he has a modeling show in development - "My modeling show is going to be similar to 'America's Next Top Model,' but for men," he offered - and is auditioning for film and TV roles.
He is also the new young adult advocate to The Damon and Stella Foundation, which increases awareness of mental health illnesses and suicide prevention.
"I'll be on 'Oprah' in September to talk about the foundation," he revealed.
