Insider is absolutely correct and neither of us is going to tell you why because of the potential harm involved. Paula really should take a few acting lessons. She was utterly unbelievable.
Key West was the ONLY season i didnt watch.....i REALLY wish i did haha
You didn't say anything offensive, so don't sweat it. Here's the thing: A lot of behind the scenes info gets tossed around here on Vevmo. HOWEVER, that still shouldn't negate the fact that people are going to make up their minds based on what they see on TV. The episodes/whatever is on tv is the viewers' only experience with these cast members ("characters"), however, that's the risk the cast takes when agreeing to do reality television. It's unfair to get angry or lose patience just because we all don't share the same amount or type of information.
Unfair or not, that is the way it is. There is such a massive body of evidence regarding the manipulation of reality shows that I lose patience with people who insist on wearing blinders when there are those who spend hours uncovering what happens that is not shown. Six or seven years ago people who believed blindly in what they saw on TV didn't know things might not be as presented. Today, such a point of view, when presented with factual information by knowledgeable people, offers little rationalization.

(Actually, I tend to hide the fact that I do so! lol) But yes, I suppose today all viewers should know better...but I wouldn't put money down saying that they do.
Key West was the ONLY season i didnt watch.....i REALLY wish i did haha
I loved Paula on Key West. Her ans Svet were my favorite. Especially the season finale where she read her "My Strangers" poem. It was beautifully written. I liked her on the Duel too, then she got a big head. Now I can't stand her.

Sometimes it turns out that what is presented is true and sometimes (or most times) its not. But telling the difference is the hard part.

I prefer live sources who often have their own agenda. I can't recall a single spoiler for The Island that was the result of internet sleuthing of other than the collection of crew information. Except for one crew name that we revealed largely for comedic purposes in the Duel II thread, because the person has also once won a reality show, we have not revealed the crew. While we may have found them on the internet, that is not how they are exploited. BTW, in my opinion, the definition of a bad reality show is one that doesn't make money, but Vision 1 does this as a business so our perspectives are likely to be different.
I'm really hoping Carlos does not do another reunion. Although he knew the cast members names, he felt so scripted to the point where his "jokes" sounded awful because he had never read them before hand. BMP needs to find some entirely new host all around. No more TJ, no more Carlos, and no more of the Hollywood reunion host (Lindsey i think).

I didn't mean to imply that you spent time on the net checking into things...but most people don't is all I'm saying. So even if they have a general understanding that reality shows are edited for storylines, they still wouldn't have the knowledge that a friend of a ton of cast members would have and we can't possibly hold that against them. FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS FOR ALL N00BSSSSSS ****IT haha
I know this is just wrong of me, but Paula is a mess and every time she starts a weepy rant I totally crack up. :D
Wrong?? Uhh hell no. Laughing when Paula is in absolute grief is something we have in common. :devil2: Kenny brought up a good point when he told Kellyanne she was a wacky *****(true) about him and her just meeting Dunbar and Ev respectively...Hehe
Im def. Gonna be watching next challange Kenny and Johnny are on...not because I like em...but cause of the huge *** targets they just put on there backs for many reasons...One they screwed over people...Two after The Island no ones gonna trust them....Third reasons people are gonna be gunning for them either for revenge or simply cause they played The Island so good that now there a threat to everyone....There basically screwed...
i'm just curious, how did the island do with ratings?
i'm just curious, how did the island do with ratings?
V1man posted the finale numbers somewhere. From what I have gathered, they started the season at 10 (in the youth cable demo) and ended it at 10 (with a lot of suckage in between.) The thing is, we only get to see the numbers if they are in the top 10, so I can't say if they were 11th or 99th in those weeks in the heart of the season.

Didn't they finished dead last on the top ten of ratings....meaning 10th place can't believe The Hills rating was so way much higher than a lot of the shows...

True.......Hey when would the Ratings for The Island Reunion come out?...
i wouldn't say the top ten is that bad for rw/rr challenge. the hills is just an insane ratings monster and has been for a while.
One must keep in consideration that Real World and the Challenges for many years were consistently in the top five and often in first or second place depending the cast.
True.......Hey when would the Ratings for The Island Reunion come out?...
The ratings for this week, including the reunion episode will be reported next Wednesday. FY -- the reunion shows historically do not do well.
Here is a link to the rating post in the Island Finale thread: http://vevmo.com/f187/the-island-finale-2416/#post37781
thanks for the link! and yeah, i mean obviously the landscape of television is different than it was even 3 or 4 years ago and i think the excitement about the challenges has definitely dwindled. probably why they keep trying new things (the island being a prime example)...it'll be interesting to see what happens after this new challenge. will they continue in the same format of shows they've been doing or try something new? or just get rid of the idea all together because they have so many spin-offs from the hills that there isn't time for it.
