Oh no....these are 2 of the 4? This does not bode well....

Oh no, just as I expected. It is sad to hear that two people so rude and arrogant could win. Hopefully it wasn't some low down dirty game they played. but it seems Kenny starts this episode.

Ugh my worst fear, and Dartagnan...I think we all know it was probably some low down dirt game play. I wonder who the other two are.

Yeah I know, well since this is a spoiler thread and I don't think we need tags, but Johnny and Ev were in the bottom 2 it seemed. Does this mean that Ev will finally be eliminated?

v1, It seems like abram did so well in this episode and it seemed to me that he had no real enemies... can you tell us if he goes through this voting process like tonya and kenny did and pleads to stay?? or did he ask them to let him go?? Esp. since they are talking about saving the guys and getting rid of the girls I don't see how he would get voted off so early in the game??

Sooo Evs not a winner. Shes seen i nthe previews with Johnny in the plea council thing, and if Johnny's a winner, that means they voted her out. I kinda liked her in the first episode, she didn't bug me as much as she did before. Does anybody else think the preview gave out alot? They show what I said above, they show Derrick, Ev and Johnny all with helmets on, they show Robin saying "I'm asking you to please not send me home yet", they show Colie hanging on to ropes with a look of pain on her face, kinda revealing. Also I know TJ said no challenges, so what are the things with everybody pushing the big ball/boulder? And when the 4 jump into the water with their hands behind their backs with TJ and the rest of the cast looking on?

I think they gave out a lot, but it doesn't truly mean anything. Sure Robin was asking to stay, meaning she was in the bottom 2, but it doesn't mean she will leave or stay. Sure Colie was shown with pain on her face, but it doesn't mean she loses or she goes home. They tried hard to leave it open-ended. I think that those 4 were in a face-off as well, but it could definitely be something different. Something we will have to wait to find out.

I give serious props to BMPs editors for some major misdirection. Now if Jeff Probst (or anyone) could just make TJ a better (maybe even competent) host... I'm amazed. It only took one episode for some people to fall back into group think and old challenge thinking. Stay outside the box, people. Before you conclude that you absolutely know something, ask yourself "what if I'm wrong." It might give you perspective.

I find it amazing how they are leading everyone in the wrong way, myself included. I kinda like it.

Was I seeing things, or in the ad for the rest of the season, did I see Ev and Johnny being deliberated on? If it's true, then that's REALLY disappointing, because if Johnny makes it to the end, then it means that Ev leaves, and I kind of like ev. Not to mention the fact that I have absolutely NO respect for Johnny now. At all.

I've been reading some other message boards today and there are some highly pissed off people out there whose spoiler threads are apparently wrong. Go figure... Over the past couple of months people have "borrowed" from one or more posts here at vevmo that became like Gospel once it was re-posted to another site, even while mods here often counseled caution for some of the speculation-cum-fact that was posted here. The "final four" winner posting gleaned from the boat in the original trailer clearly turned out not to be the actual boat that appears in the second trailer, confirming our reluctance at the time to name the winners. The boat in the second trailer gave no pause to the wise theft-gifted pundits at another board who apparently never seriously revisited vevmo to check for updates or "rethinking." The previews of Johnny and Evelyn standing together in what appears to be the same area as Kenny and Tonya during the elimination deliberation, is branded as proof that one of them is to be evicted and the already cautioned spoiler to be wrong. It's amazing that people can read so much into a couple of seconds of video, especially when their reaction includes blaming vevmo for inaccurate spoilers (absent our caution). The semantics of "spoilerism" is also apparently lost on other boards. We've said that Dave was the first to leave. That is what was posted elsewhere after we wrote it. I don't think we ever claimed he was the first to be voted off the island. Savvy readers will discover in couple of weeks that we were right. We needed to correct the record recently about Tyrie, but that spoiler correction never made it back to the person who pirated it to another board as his/her own. Tyrie doesn't quit as he did on Gauntlet 3 -- my mistake, based on my own wishful interpretation of what someone who was there told me. Our earlier characterization of his relationships with other cast members remains valid, though; but, the background info almost never gets copied to other boards, just the headlines. I'll really be amused if this comment finds its way to another board. ;)

No but seriously, it drives me insane when people take the things that you and B tell us and make assumptions that other events could not have taken place based off of what we have been told. Can't they all just learn to take it in and let it brew?

Also, something else that I found interesting was that Robin was a sailor.... maybe an easy way to get to the end.

I thought this was a spoiler thread guys? Maybe we should start one for speculation? Just a thought.

Maybe LM. But what I meant to do was connect Robin having sailing experience with her making it far. That much I don't think is speculation.

Cohutta and Colie were both eliminated, but further along the line.

[/QUOTE] As I've written before, I do know who wins and have no intention of naming any of them. Bacchus named Kenny and Johnny. I have opted to neither confirm nor deny that he is correct. Only once has a spoiler I offered been wrong (Re: Tyrie) and I corrected the info as soon as I learned that I had misunderstood my sources. My technique is to ask questions of posters to see if they have examined the possible scenarios that may play out, and to occasionally point out that they are about to jump into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim... It's my personal version of the Socratic Method.
