The episode starts off with the screen saying "Somewhere off the coast of Panama" and Dan is seen crawling out of the water.
Then clips of what is to come are shown. Johnny is shown looking very tired and Colie's voice is heard saying, "Everybody on the Island is going a little bit crazy." Kenny is then heard saying, "I hate it. This is miserable." Many people after are heard saying how hungry they are becoming and how they don't know what to eat.
Abram is shown with the bee stings once again and KellyAnne is seen screaming at someone from the dinner table saying," Shut the **** up."
The someone can be seen playing with a bug and a voice is heard saying," All these people are so crazy." Ryan is shown yelling," Don't talk to me like that!"
Ev then says," We're losing our minds man." Johnny is shown having a meltdown. KellyAnne is shown fighting with somebody. Paula and Dunbar are also shown fighting. Dan is shown on the beach slamming something down. Ev is shown yelling at somebody. Robin is then shown having a emotional fight with somebody. The next scene shows Dan getting physical and being held back. Ev the says," Crazy what the Island will do to ya'."
It flashes over to a boat that has the cast on it. This is the beginning.
Robin asks," Do you think we will do a competition just to get there?"
[B]KellyAnne: First Challenge and I am mainly just nervous. I mean I am broken out like I have never broken out in my life.[/B]
[B]Dave: Being a Rookie I don't know much about how the games work. I know what I have seen. I would like to think they are going to underestimate me.[/B]
[B]Rachel: I am a true Veteran. And honestly I have really changed a lot. I have no friends going into this. I am totally alone and I like it.[/B]
[B]Tonya: I have moved to Nebraska[/B] [B]and I live in a town with a population of 520. I definitely feel that I have cleaned up my act and got my priorities straight. So yeah I think I'm a new Tonya.[/B]
[B]Dan: It's Dantastic from Road Rules: Viewer's Revenge. As of right now for the Marine Corps., I am on my way of getting out. I wanna do some other stuff.[/B]
[B]Dunbar: I don't think there is anyone here as competitive as me. I don't think there is anyone ***trong as me, or as fast as me. If I lose it's because I did something stupid.[/B]
[B]Ashli: I definitely am coming to win. I'm coming in as a new girl. We are the lowest of the low on this game. I don't have a strategy at this point because I am not willing to screw anybody over.[/B]
[B]Cohutta: Since Sydney, I've traveled around a lot. I didn't come here to party. I didn't come here to romance. Nothing like that. I came here to win.[/B]
[B]Robin: I don't plan on hooking up with anybody, but I will be doing what I have to do to stay here.[/B]
TJ: "Okay everybody, welcome here to Isla Colon here in beauti**l Panama. For those of you that I don't know, my name is TJ Lavin and I am a pro BMX rider and I am your host for this season of the Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island. If you came here for a party, just to party it up, live it up, go crazy and have a nice vacation, you came to the wrong place because this one is unlike any other. For starters, there are no teams. In fact there aren't even any Challenges. That beach over there is your home for the entire season. You guys are going to be stranded on that beach for the entire time that you are here. Now I know that you guys didn't even come this whole way for a tan, you came to win money. There is money to be had, but it is not going to be anywhere on this island, so don't waste your time looking for it. The island behind me, that is The Island right there. On that island there is a treasure chest filled with $300,000 dollars in gold treasure."
[B]Tyrie: If anybody gets in my way of that $300,000 dollars there is a real good chance you will get steamrolled over by your boy.[/B]
[B]Derrick: You know this money would be really good, it would really help a lot. I just recently got married and have a child on the way.[/B]
TJ: "Your goal is to retrieve that gold and the only way to do so, is by building yourself a sea-worthy boat. There is 20 people here. We are going to give you enough materials to build two boats. There is only going to be a maximum of 4 p***engers per boat. So if you guys do the math, there's going to be some people left out to be stranded. You're not going to get any money."
[B]Kenny: There may be more than 8 people here at the end, but there is only 8 spots on those rafts.[/B]
[B]Paula: It's going to get ugly and it's so irritating that we see this Island and we know that the money's on there and we can't get to it.[/B]
TJ: "I'll tell you exactly how to ensure your way on those boats just a little bit later, but for now you guys gotta go check out your new spot."
[B]Johanna: TJ is going to be giving us information about the rules little by little as time goes by and I think this makes everybody nervous because its just a big mystery.[/B]
TJ: " One more thing. Make sure you always got an eye on that horizon because the U.S. army is going to be doing air drops. These air drops are going to contain vital supplies for your life on the beach, as well as containing building materials so you can build your two boats. Alright that's enough for now. Get off my boat. There is only one way to that Island, so lets go."
[B]Rachel: I can't believe we have to swim to the island. I mean you really can't just pull up the boat and drop us off here.[/B]
[B]Ev: This challenge is difficult in a way that no other Challenge has been so far. Really surviving day to day, is a challenge in of itself.[/B]
[B]Johnny: This is not going to be a **n happy challenge for people. This is going to be grueling. We have to push ourselves to the brink of exhaustion or the brink of insanity. It's going to be pain**l so, I'm out for blood on this one.[/B]
The cast wash up on the shore.
Abram says, "Welcome to the Island."
[B]Robin: I'm not used to this. I'm used to a challenge where I know the rules, I know what's going on. So I am a bit overwhelmed on what I'm supposed to do and how do you **nction.[/B]
[B]Dunbar: Our campsite is straight out of the Swiss Family Robinson. Tree houses, plantations.[/B]
Johnny found a hut and told Johanna and Kenny to go up there. Rachel and Johanna find the bathrooms.
[B]Kenny: I'm used to living in the laps of luxury. I can't take care of myself. I don't know how to survive.[/B]
Kenny discovers that there is no toilet paper. He says, "How do you wipe your ***?"
[B]Kenny: I don't know how to cook and clean. I'm from New Jersey; Our Moms do that shit for us.[/B]
Rachel, Jenn, and Ryan are all seen under the shower.
[B]Colie: We don't have any electricity. We don't have air conditioning. Our drinking water is scarce. I think I see things getting a lot harder before they get any easier.[/B]
Tonya and Dan are in the kitchen where Tonya is shown cracking open a coconut.
[B]Dunbar: So one of the very few things we have supplied for us is rice. I mean Unicef food style.[/B]
Tonya: "Yay!"
Kenny (referring to Tonya): " We're not that hungry. She is wasting ******* coconuts by cracking them open. People are wasting water too."
Kenny is upset that they are using too much of their supplies.
Kenny: "Listen. We don't have a lot of supplies and already you are cracking open coconuts."
Tonya: "Well this is the first one we cracked open."
Kenny: "Well three people already opened one."
Tonya: "Well why don't you be nice. I didn't know."
[B]Johnny: My main concern is our rations, basically. One of the most unsettling things about this Challenge is that we are going to be stranded on a deserted island with limited food, that so far consists of fish,rice and boiled chicken.[/B]
The boys are cooking up some food in the kitchen.
Johnny: "You know how fast we are going to get sick of plain rice. With no butter and no salt and no seasonings?"
Kenny and Johnny begin to talk about strategy. Kenny begins to tell Johnny to be quiet about everything.
[B]Kenny: Living with these new kids is probably going to slow us all down. But ***oon as we get rid of some of these morons, I'm sure it will be better.[/B]
KellyAnne and Johanna have a discussion about people trying to make alliances.
KellyAnne: "Everyone else being so tight is so hard to be around."
Johanna: "Get used to it. This is nothing. Wait till everyone is cutthroat."
[B]KellyAnne: It kinda seems like some people are already trying to build alliances which is kinda dumb because we don't even know the rules yet.[/B]
KellyAnne is annoyed at the fact that people won't just wait til they know the rules to play the game.
Tonya, Rachel, Ryan, Jenn, and Colie are in a room, trying to calm Tonya down from a panic attack.
Tonya: "I don't do good in these situations. I've been normal so many months and I get in this situation and it stresses me out anyway.
[B]Tonya: I'm nervous and I'm scared. This is different from anything we have done in the past, and we all know I haven't been popular.[/B]
[B]Ryan: Tonya is one of my favorite people because she is such a freaking psychopath. And I love it. I can't get enough of it.[/B]
Colie is calming down Tonya and so is Rachel. Tonya is also upset because she was hoping to come on this challenge and show everyone that she could handle it this time around.
[B]Colie: All the odds are against Tonya. She is away from a comfort zone, being away from a support system. That is going to wear on her.[/B]
[B]Dan: I am just looking to relax, chill out. I think it's good to remember don't let the elements get to you and don't let them intimidate you until it's time to worry.[/B]
Dan is just kinda partying and living it up instead of being so focused on the game.
[B]Derrick: I think Dan just being the new guy, is here to have a good time and I don't think he is thinking about the wear and tear of alcohol is going to do on your body.[/B]
They all begin to party and have **n and do body shots off of each other. Ashli and Ryan begin to make out.
[B]Ryan: I love girls. They're beauti**l. I don't have a problem kissing most girls.[/B]
Rachel and Jenn are shown making out in one of the rooms.
[B]Jenn: It's obvious me and Rachel have chemistry between the two of us. I like Rachel and I don't like her the way I would like a man, no I'm not attracted to women in that way. I don't date girls, I don't hook up with girls, it just kinda happened.[/B]
Johanna and Kenny also begin to hook up.
[B]Johanna: In the Gauntlet 3, Wes and I broke up. Kenny and I have been friends for a long time and um, now I'm single and he's single, and he's just so cute.[/B]
[B]Kenny: Basically, I think Wes is a piece of shit and I hate the guy. If she wants it, come walk on the sun darling.[/B]
Cohutta and KellyAnne are also shown kinda flirting even though they are now broken up. They both say it is best to be friends.
Abram and the guys begin constructing a raft for **n.
[B]Abram: last time on I was on Road Rules, I was punching a guy in the head. I'm not here for fighting this time, I'm here to fish.[/B]
Abram began to talk to Kenny about the raft and Kenny was negative. It was upsetting to Tonya and an argument between Kenny and Tonya took place.
Tonya: "Why are you so negative?"
Kenny: "Why are you jumping in the conversation?"
Tonya: "You are so negative. You don't wanna do it, but you wanna ***** about it."
Kenny: " Shut the ***k up."
[B]Tonya: I can't stand Kenny. I never have. I feel that he is disrespect**l to women, I feel like he is very selfish.[/B]
Kenny: "No Tonya. You're a retard."
Tonya: " I'm the retard that just washed your dishes."
Kenny says he isn't rude to all the women just the retards like Tonya. He calls her a wacko as well.
The next day Ashli and Ryan discuss how they felt it wouldn't be as bad. But Ashli says she is going nuts there. Johnny says everyone has been starving for information about game as well as food. TJ meets them at the beach outside their house.
TJ: " Today is your lucky day. Today is your first round of the U.S. army air drops. These air drops are going to contain vital supplies to your life here on the beach as well the first round of building materials for your boats. Now a few things to mention about the boats. First, you guys must use all the materials that we give you for the boats before you shove off and go to that island and get paid. And one more thing is do not lose any of the materials, they cannot be replaced so don't lose them. Some of these air drops are going to have luxury air drops inside of them that you need to survive. Also, you are going to have to ration out your supplies care**lly and correctly. If you do that then there should be no reason why you can't be okay until the next air drop. However, if somebody gets greedy then you guys are going to have problems. Now we all know that this Challenge is very intense. it is not only going to take dedication, but also physical and emotional strength to make it through this. These core army characteristics are definitely going to be put to the test. That being said, there are no challenges. That doesn't mean that you guys won't be sending people home. So we'll get to that later."
The air drop comes and all the guys swim out to get the air drop. The first two parts to their boat and toilet paper are in there. They also got some extra meat and fish.
Tonya, Ev, and Ryan are trying to ration out the toilet paper. Johnny was very rude to Ev.
[B]Ev: I can't stand the sound of Johnny's voice and I would love to just gut him like a fish. I mean I would just demolish the little guy's body.[/B]
Dan and Dunbar talked strategy about how the rookies can take the whole game from the veterans.
[B]Dan: Do I feel loyalty to some people out here? Yes. I mean, if that's forming an alliance, that's forming an alliance.[/B]
Johanna and Kenny talk about how they can keep themselves there this game if they gang up on everybody else.
[B]Jenn: There's a lot of cliques forming. If you sit back and watch, you're kinda realizing who is the most insecure and nervous because they are the ones going around, whispering in everybody's ears.[/B]
Kenny tells Johanna that she is making them look like targets by being so sneaky. They begin flirting and Kenny and Johanna go to the beach and share a p***ionate session. Yuck.
[B]Kenny: I never thought I would be this guy, but here I am kissing and making out with Johanna and carrying her into the ocean. Real stupid shit.[/B]
Everyone at the house is cheering for Kenny and Johanna. Kenny is unsure if Johanna is truly liking him or is just using him.
The next day rolls around and TJ is back to explain the rules again.
TJ: "Hey what's up everybody? I am here to give you guys more rules and information about this game. Everybody needs to have a key to get to the treasure chest in order to get on a boat. The treasure chest across the way needs 4 keys and 4 people in order for it to be opened. First way to stay in the game is called a Face-Off. Three people go into a head to head competition much like a Gauntlet, Inferno, Duel, anything like that. You see my point. That one winner will receive a key and will be safe from the elimination that night. Then the two remaining players can plead their case to the rest of the group that are on the island. You are almost going to beg your way back onto the island. Then the entire group is gonna have a public vote where you can decide who is going home and what player remains in the game. The loser who goes home, goes home with nothing at all. The player that stays in the game, receives a key, rejoins the group, and stays in the game. The only other way to get a key is if you're lucky enough to have a friend who has a key and gets eliminated. First people to unlock that treasure chest, will win the Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island and receive $300,000 dollars in treasure. So you guys have 45 minutes to go up there, deliberate, and decide what three people will be up for elimination. Lets get it done."
Johnny asks if anybody would like to volunteer themselves into the Face-Off. Abram volunteers himself.
[B]Abram: If I'm gonna be on the Island, I wanna be doing something. So the first Face-Off comes around, I want in.[/B]
Paula begins to ask how they want to do it regarding gender, if they would like to make it equal, or if they would like to make it all of one gender. Abram says since they do not know what to expect a girl should be in there. Kenny also volunteers himself into the face-off. None of the girls volunteer themselves so they do a vote.
[B]Ashli: Problem with being a new kid, no one really has your back. My *** is definitely on the line now.[/B]
Tyrie votes Tonya. KellyAnne and Ev vote Tonya as well. Abram sends in Ashli. Jenn and Tonya send in Ashli too. Colie votes for KellyAnne. Robin votes for Ashli. Dunbar votes for Tonya. Kenny and Paula send in Tonya as well. Derrick and Ryan vote for Ashli. Johnny votes for KellyAnne. Johanna and Rachel vote for KellyAnne too. Dan, Cohutta, Dave, and Ashli vote for Tonya to go in as well. So this makes it Tonya, Abram, and Kenny going into a Face-Off.
[B]Tonya: All the new kids have definitely band together. They don't want to send a rookie home first. And I just kinda feel screwed over.[/B]
[B]Rachel: I am shocked that people like KellyAnne, Ashli, Dunbar, all these people, who it's their first Challenge, it's tradition here, they have to go in and prove themselves, but Tonya obviously upset a few people.[/B]
Ashli was very upset that her and KellyAnne, especially her, almost had the same number of votes as Tonya, who is the most unpopular person.
[B]KellyAnne: As far as them voting me and Ashli in, it's stupid because we are probably stronger than some of those other people. But it's not surprising for me to get called in.[/B]
Ashli: "All of those people who voted for me over Tonya, had talked some more bullshit about her than anyone else on this whole entire Island. That is not about being right."
KellyAnne: "Its because they already have their alliance."
[B]Johnny: The more guys you have at the end, the less girls. The better off you are, hands down. Guys are just mentally, emotionally, physically, 9 times out of 10 are way better to have on the island."[/B]
Johnny and some other guys were talking about having a male majority on the island.
Tonya is very upset and is crying because she is nervous about going up against two strong guys. But she says hope**lly this will help her get her feet wet and be prepared for it before anybody else. Plus, she will have a key if she wins.
[B]Tonya: "It's clear who wants me out of here, and its a lot of people."[/B]
The cast arrives at the first Face-Off where TJ is. He then explains the competition. [SIZE=2]
The first Face-Off is called Leaning Tower. There are three leaning telephone poles above the water. There are colored holes in the poles that correspond with matching colored dowels in the water that they must dive down and retrieve and put in the holes. Whoever gets the 12 dowels in first, runs up the ladder of the telephone pole, and rings the bell will win. Dan talks about how this game might be between anyone because it has so many different levels of competition. Tonya talks about how she in underestimated and she would love to win. Abram is in the lead and is moving at a fast pace. Kenny is a bit behind. Tonya struggled with getting her first dowel out and struggled putting it in the hole. Abram had a dowel that came out and the rule was that if a dowel came out unintentionally they had to go back down and put it back. This gave Kenny the lead with one dowel. Tonya is still 6 dowels behind. Johnny talks about how he wants Kenny to win, but that he wouldn't count out Abram. Kenny and Abram are neck and neck and everyone doesn't know who will win. Abram beats Kenny by seconds. Tonya became upset because she wasn't able to pull out the first dowel. Ev was okay with Abram winning because he is capable of doing very well in the final mission.
TJ awards Abram with the key and his award, a Zune Media Player.
[B]Kenny: I think it could get **zzy on the way down. Right now there are way too many results that could go either way. If these kids are smart it would be a good idea to vote me off.[/B]
The cast arrives at the Tribal Council area. TJ calls the three players from the Face-Off down. He awards Abram with his key and sends him back up. TJ begins to explain the rules of the voting process.
TJ: " Okay. Tonya, Kenny, you are both going ot have your chance to plead your case to the rest of the group to help them decide which one of you guys is going to stay, and which one of you guys is going to go home. After that we are going to have a public vote, and everybody is going to vote except for Abram because he won the Face-Off today. In the event of a tie, then Abram will be the deciding factor. So, we're going to get started first with Tonya, because you got last today so you're going to go first right now."
[SIZE=2][U]Tonya's Case:[/U] " Ummmmm, like I'm not gonna sit here and say I've done so many challenges and I've won them because this game is so different. I would say that there's a lot of guys here and not all of you men are going to be on a raft. I'm not really a threat so the likelihood of me getting a key, is slim to none. If you go up against Kenny for a key, you may lose. Going up against me you might have a fighting chance. And at the end of the day, the people that don't get a key are just going to sit on the beach and watch you guys float away and I may be one of those people. Kenny will not be."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2][U]Kenny's Case:[/U] "I'd just like to say we made this mistake once before. Paula learned the hard way, I learned the hard way, Robin learned the hard way, and we left a weak player on our team (referring to Eric on the finale of the Gauntlet 3). So if you are on that raft, do you want me paddling with you, or do you want her paddling with you? That's it. That's all I have to say."[/SIZE]

After Ashli's vote Tonya replies with," It's Okay." She is very emotional now.

[SIZE=2]Ryan-" I know everyone thinks you're a crazy,psychopathic, kleptomaniac *****, and I think that you are those things, but I love you and I adore the ***k out of you, so there is no way in **** I could send you home, I'm going to send Kenny home."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Derrick-" Kenny I'm going to send you home. My votes for Tonya to stay."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Tonya was very emotional after this vote, and blew kisses to Derrick.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=2]Ev-" Tonya, I'm sorry, it's not personal."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Ev says that she voted for Tonya because to vote for Kenny, who is the leader of the social group would be a very bad decision.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Johnny-" The kids probably going to be at my wedding, so I'm gonna give him my vote now."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Paula-" Tonya, you're too pretty, so I'm sending you home."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Colie-" I have to vote for you tonight Tonya. it's nothing personal."[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2]Dave-" Tonya, I'm sorry but, I gotta have strong people."[/SIZE]
Cohutta-" I kinda feel like you guys got all these personal ties, I'm going on straight statistics, I mean 5 pegs versus 12 pegs is what I gotta go on. I gotta send you back to Pizza Hut." He voted for Tonya
KellyAnne-" Sorry, Tonya."
Jenn-" Tonya you're my girl and I've always had you're back. And I love you to death and I would never send you home! I gotta send you home Kenny."
[SIZE=2]Jenn was very emotional during her vote as well. This means Tonya is going home. TJ awarded Kenny with his key. They all said their goodbyes to Tonya as well.[/SIZE]
[B]Ryan: Tonya I just wanna say that you are a fantastic human being. I think you're totally nuts, but I'm nuts too. I'm going to miss you, but uh I'll take you out to dinner when I win the big check at the end."[/B]
Tonya said her goobyes to Tj and that she would be back. She said she is happy to go home to Nebraska. And she can't wait to go home.
Johnny tells Kenny and Derrick that he wants them on the raft at the end. Kenny says he is now running this show. Him and Johanna share another make out session in bed.
