I actually enjoyed that episode. I haven't watched Grey's in over two years and since I had The Office tivo'd tonight I decided to put it on. It actually wasn't bad.

Great episode...Damn Izzie for making me cry when she was talking to Alex and hiding what she knew. Honestly I think I was crying more for Karev since he is going to lose the 1 bright light in his life and we all know how that will end up playing out for his personality. Very little MerDer...my kind of eppy. I SO wanted to see Cristina just reach out and give Izzie a hug when she told her what was going on even though I know that is not her style, LOL.

I agree w/ Bacc that it reminded me of Grey's of old! I can't [I]quite[/I] pinpoint exactly what or why, but it may be because we got to see more of our "original 5" interns. And it was nice to see their banter, and all of their separate stories with the patients. I was SOOOO happy for Alex that he's doing good, and finally believing in himself! I thought his rapport with the band girl was great, especially when he told off her "friends" at the end. Yes, we know we've all seen it coming but Izzie?? It's bad. Bad bad bad. I hate to say it (and this is why the story made me SO sad...) but unless a medical miracle occurs, she's gone. :( But then again, SCREW THE ODDS like Lexie said (and since when does Shonda Rhimes care about the odds....or realism for that matter?!) I thought KH did a GREAT job in this episode. I loved her speech to the interns...."THIS is your gift!". And when she decided to tell Christina...I appreciate Christina being there for her in her own way (Taking her to her secret spot). That was a touching moment. On another note, Cheif-what the hell?! You told the girl about her ENGAGEMENT ring for your own selfish purposes....ugh what a baby he was this episode. I do feel bad for Derrick, though it was nice to see just a little less of him. Oh, and Mark and Lexie in the end....very cute.
