Grey's Ep. 511-Wish You Were Here
Finally! It's back tonight, and like Bacc said here, they need to take care of this Denny/Izzie nonsense STAT!
"Wish You Were Here" Bailey teams with Seattle Grace's new pediatric surgeon, Dr. Arizona Robbins, to save the life of a young patient near and dear to her heart, as the admittance of a death row inmate at the hospital stirs anger in Derek and further erodes Meredith and Cristina's friendship; meanwhile, Callie and Sloan work as a team to fight their respective attractions to Sadie and Lexie, and Izzie tells Alex that she's seeing Denny.
Oh, and can someone PLEASE cut Alex a freakin' break!? How many crazy/psycho women does he have to deal with? Poor guy.... I'm excited about this death row inmate storyline. Apparently he has a 3-episode arc and will draw a LOT of controversy and touchy decisions. And the actor, Eric Stoltz, has written for episodes of Grey's before. 9:00 tonight on ABC folks!
I read that he (Eric Stolz) directed a few epsiodes but I didn't know that he wrote some of them, that is cool. I am not looking forward to MerDer tonight, but I am looking forward to everyone else...especially Christina & Mc-Hunk
Eric Stoltz always plays a sick bad guy. I missed the last episode so I was a bit confused with all the people not talking to one another and what not. Are Christina and Dr. Hunt in a relationship now? I'm official tired of Izzy and Denny, and I am more disappointed that Alex is not taking this seriously. I know, who would right? And Denny is going to make her choose??? gimme a break!
I now understand why Grey's was the first major show to launch in the new year - had there been other options everyone would have changed the channel. I am not kidding. Last night was a bore fest. Sure, maybe they were building a new arc with Eric Stoltz, but I don't care. I want to be entertained and Cristina and Mer nagging each other on is not going to do it and the Chief having a breakdown is not going to do it. Izzy's imaginary friend is especially not going to do it. Obviously next week will be better. It might even have a compelling storyline. p.s. I did like Alex interacting with the kid. That was actually fun and then touching. Still not enough...
Why oh why did they have to open up to a Mer/Der quickie...it ruined it for me, LOL
I love Sloan and Lexie!
I am not kidding. Last night was a bore fest.
I hate to agree, but I do. Seeing as though most of us know where the Izzie/Denny story is going now, I don't see the point in dragging it out and making it so far-fetched and ridiculous this whole time. Alex's reaction? Not what I expected, but maybe he thinks he's just playing along. As far as Chief's "breakdown", I guess I can say I related to him in the sense that, as he was wondering what the hell has happened to his hospital, I was wondering what the hell has happened to my show? I really think Shonda Rhimes is going in the direction where she's just going to run this thing into the ground. How many "new" characters that seem to have no purpose in the long run (Sadie, Dr. Dixon, roller-skating Arizona) do we need to be introduced to? I'm a little frustrated, and a lot disappointed.
I love Sloan and Lexie!
Here's my problem with that. I was completely put off by him and Callie "restraining" themselves from their "hot interns" the ENTIRE TIME. I don't like what they are doing with Callie's character (where is the Callie we first saw?). It was just uncomfortable watching them squirm and basically act like dogs in heat. (Oh, and Sadie? She's NOT hot, get over her and get rid of her!) I'm sure there's more, I'll think of it later. But really, this show NEEDS to get better.

I guess I just have a thing for bad boys, and good girls! I think this storyline will get interesting! I agree with you on Sadie, not digging her. She just doesn't seem to fit!
This just about sums it up: 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Private Practice' are adrift
