Grey's Anatomy: Ep 412: Where the Wild Things Are

I enjoyed last night's episode. Great to be back. I was glad to see the old George rather then the Izzie influenced version. I am not into "woe is me" characters and was happily surprised to see him assertive this week and a player in the running jokes rather then the butt of said jokes. I tried desperately to recall where I knew the actress with the scalp injury, then it hit me: Heroes! I was not grossed out. Those were Hollywood intestines. The contest was fun. I like fun. When Grey's is fun I am enjoying the show. We need more of this. I am not into the "Hahn is God" play with Cristina and hated the Callie/Erica friend shtick. Still, it is standard Grey's and I guess I can live with it. Derek/Rose is not happening so I can't get into it. I'd like to see Izzie stop failing. Show some Izzie love Shonda! I want more of the Derek/ Sloan friendship. It was meant to be. Sure, Derek is "above" Sloan, but still it is a good relationship for the series in my opinion. I loved Sloan's little challenges like 5 points for getting away (from a threesome) and nobody knowing. Major Dog! [quote]Eva/Rebecca is pregnant!?!?![/quote]What?!! I totally missed that preview. Yes previews for next week showed that Ava comes back and she's pregnant. I don't like where that is going, why can't Alex just have a good story line or something good happen to him. He always gets the raw end of the deal. Oh, the other thing it showed in previews for next week is that Addison will be visiting. Which should make things interesting. And even though I slightly felt sorry for Christina, I'm glad that Callie finally has a friend. And Christina and Mere always leave everyone else out. It was good to see Cheech in last night's show.

Much better match then Gizzie![/quote] I agree...the contest was fun and good to see Bailey a little back to her old self as well.....and I really liked the "sparkle pager" -(could you see Karev carrying that around??):D I like the Derek and Mark friendship too. Mark has come around ALOT in the 3 seasons he's been here. Seems like I've seen the "scalp girl" in a movie....but I can't place it just yet, will have to do some research. (George/Lexie) ;)

I'd like to see his character be given some hope, but I doubt we will see that anytime soon. If Eva is in fact pregnant - I am sure we will experience an even darker, more uncaring Alex.

Scalp girl is also from Beverly Hills 90210 back in the day. She was one of Brandon's messed up girl friends. The intestines and scalp grossed me out, too. I thought the brain tumor theory was just a stretch to justify her sad state affairs, thought it was lame that he actually did have a brain tumor. I felt bad for rebound/wife/scalp girl. It was a great episode and not knowing the characters very well, I enjoyed the competition and interaction between them all.
