I though Grey's was good last night. There was the appropriate amount of drama and questions raised for an opening salvo.
The first thing I felt was a sense of loss from not having Addison and Burke around. These guys are going to be missed as the new group of characters are only interns and there seems to be a power void at the top. I assume the newly minted Residents will begin to fill that void as the season progresses, but for right now there is definitely something missing.
I was happy to see George return as an intern and even more happy to see that the episode ended with him affirming his love for Izzy (even though I don't like that paring, I love Izzy and just want her to be happy!)
Did anyone else get a chuckle over the child birth scene? 1 minute labor while unconscious. [I]Could a women ask for more?[/I]
I can't wait to see where they take Chyler Leigh's character (Lexie Grey.) I read a rumor that they brought her in because Ellen Pompeo was playing hardball with her contract and they wanted to make sure they had a "Grey" ready to fill the lead.
