So I just watched the Aftershow, finally...
I thought it was really interesting, it seemed like even though Darrell admitted he would want to target Wes in the game, and obviously he told Jill and Pete to do that.... it seemed like he's actually friends with Wes in real life. But it seemed like he really doesn't like Kenny, even though he was going to work with him in the game.
I just think it's interesting that guys like Darrell and Brad, who are definitely thought of as really GOOD guys, are friends with Wes. Actually the only people I've seen that seem to not like Wes outside of the game are Kenny and Evan.
I think game Wes and real life Wes must be pretty different people.
But good show, decent first episode, great aftershow... I'm excited to see what happens and the challenges look HARD!

I noticed that too. Only JEK (without Derrick) don't like Wes outside of a challenge. I thought it was a good episode because it seems like we got to see how Kenny's attitude rubbed off on Laurel. We know that all the confessionals they did was after the FM met the alumni. I was happy to see Darrell shut Laurel up, even if she is pretty. But not as pretty as Cara Maria. I bet I've said that I love her so many times. But my heart just sings for her.
Also, is it not bedtime in Australia?
Darrell is hilarious, his one-liners always bring laughs but he's not much for drama so he usually doesn't get that much TV time.
If I were Kenny and Wes, I would've set it up so that Landon & Carley were the ones who went in against Darrell and Cara Maria or whatever her name is. At that point in the game, you don't really know how strong the Fresh Meat people are when it comes to missions (that combine & the actual challenges are two totally different beasts) but the sure thing that both of them would have to know is that both Darrell and Landon are the two alumni that would have the best chance of beating them in a final. You put their teams against each other right away and you're guaranteed to get rid of one of the two guys that would be able to out-run you in a final.

I think that's slightly unfair. You can argue alot of things can be blamed on Kenny but in my opinion Laurel's attitude isn't one of them. Guess he just can't win can he.
I luvvved the premiere. The new meat are great! Pete is really hot and I don't know why but Noor is my fan favorite. Um....I just want to see the fight with Jen and the fresh meat girl. Jen can get overly dramatic and aggressive for no reason.

You do realize that she was acting pretty much the same BEFORE she actually met Kenny, right?

Let's not forget that Kenny is not snotty. He JOKES about being the best. Everything he says has a humorous undertone. Laurel was not that way.
Also, this is her first show. She obviously knows she was being a little rude. She's sorry. Let's cut her some slack.
Everyone just jumped at my throat for what I said. Lol, first off I didn't know she tweeted that about her after show because I don't do twitter. Also, I kinda got the vibe from************* that she wasn't so loud and obnoxious and when standing with Kenny she was quiet while he talked a lot but then she when overboard on the after show. And again, this is is BEFORE I knew she tweeted about it.
I watched the premier again and I must say that I'm kinda warming up to this group...they don't seem as bad as the 1st batch of Stale Meat.
But then again this is the only the 1st episode so I hope they keep up the likability.
I have to re-watch the episode because I wasn't really paying attention at the time, but what was Darrell talking about in his confessional when he had his hand cupped over his ear? I saw that & he said something like "wooo hooo I can't hear you, gimme dat ball *****!"
Just finished watching it. I am happy the episode didn't really revolve around Kenny and Wes and other alumni had camera time... The FM don't see too impressive, guess I will have to wait it out.

He was talking about how Laurel was able to hear Carley close to her while she had the ball, and she stole it from her easily by hearing her splashing.

During that challenge I like the song they played during that part it fit perfectly but I was mad because Kenny winssssssss everyyyythannnggg!!!!!!
Probably my favorite Challenge premier ever (speaking of which, if anyone knows someplace I can buy/download the previous Challenges and could PM me the info, I'd be ever so grateful).
Whatever else Kenny is, he's certainly entertaining. Evan's wit seems to have rubbed off on him and I'm loving it. He's an equal opportunity ******* and I can relate to that. Whereas I felt bad for Wes before when he was outnumbered, he just comes off as crude and ignorant nowadays.
I really like the game they had to play and from the looks of the previews, more fun awaits. They remind me a bit of the old Takeshi's Castle games in difficulty/absurdness. I only wish the episodes were produced in a way that allowed us to see the whole competition from start to finish instead of the quick cuts back and forth to the sidelines. I don't need to see 3-5 minutes worth of people yelling incoherently anyway.
I haven't read any spoilers so I'm going to be pulling for Landon. As far as I can recall I've never seen him talk crap about anyone and he seems genuinely nice, as well as being a strong competitor so he has my vote.
I was pleasantly surprised by the premiere. Fresh meat cast is much more genuine/likeable this time around. I think we're in for one of the better seasons in a while.
I thin Kenny's always been much, much funnier than Evan
Agreed. Kenny's always been funny. It's one of the reasons I actually LIKED him in Fresh Meat 1.
Favorite line of the episode:
"To hell with that noise!" Gahh, I love Katelynn.
Yup that was brilliant!
However I did also like Kenny's "Mr Beautiful comes here to win, not to hook up with drunk sl*ts"
I agree but I want them to assert themselves in the game more
Yeah this is the one problem I have with them. They need to start speaking up and making their own decisions and not just jump on the Kenny Vs Wes Train.
But once again this is the 1st episode so they might start playing this game somewhere down the road.
We'll see.

The problem with that is, in general, if you start off like that, it's an easy way to get the boot. Maybe wait a few eliminations before you start making your move.

I don't think so. I think that a bunch of the teams could've started making their own plans and strategy's and applying them. If they did that then it could be acutally Interesting and I don't think that Kenny and/or Wes wouldn't have as much power as they seem to have now.
I'm kinda hoping that a few of the teams get together and make a plan to throw in Kenny AND Wes into the Exile. Now THAT would be a good Exile to watch.
