Maybe Laurel does have the "right" to be cocky, but it's not about that...when everyone hates you, and you're miserable, it's going to wear you down. THAT is why you don't want people to dislike you, and that is why you want to make friends. Plus, if you don't win, you want people to want to keep you around. I just can't believe how they didn't see how bad some of their decisions were.
Its funny how people are saying things like people dislike Laurel and Ev because they are the same or whatever. I don't care for Ev and I have no problem with Laurel. She doesn't bother me.
And I used to love Wes but like Townie said, he's all bark, no bite, over the top and ridiculous. When Kenny's on his spiel about how beautiful he is you can tell he's not serious, Wes is 100% serious about everything. They need to put him on the Duel 3 with Ct, Landon, and Alton.
What people are saying about Jenn is that she made an agreement with Wes & Evelyn and completely took a dump on it by not helping them out. She saw the numbers were with Kenny so strategically stayed on his side. Smart move on her part strategy-wise but morally not so much. This is coming from the same girl who said she'd never screw people over to win a game. Back at the Island reunion (like someone has already pointed out in a previous post) she said she'd never betray friendships just to win money. Hmmmm...
Exactly, and normally I wouldn't even bat an eye but this is someone who goes around preaching about how real she is and she wouldn't do this or that etc. for money.
I'm all for winning but don't claim to be something your not.
I have not seen anything that would make me believe people on here like Wes because he's cocky. The reason people on here seem to like Wes is because he hates Kenny.
The cast of this challenge seems to hate Laurel for being cocky.

There used to be a lot more Wes lovers who would back everything he did and make up some excuse for everything that happened to him but I don't know what happened to them. They maybe don't want to post anymore or after this season realize how pathetic Wes is.
Just like Justafan mentioned, Ev and Wes played the game TOO hard and now they are a mess and have fallen apart. I would still always prefer Wes over Kenny. Kenny's cockiness and arrogance will always be more annoying then Wes's dramatic outburst and cowardness.
If I hear "Mr. Beautiful" and shear him brag about how great he is one more time I'm going to pull my hair out. I would like to see Kenny on a challenge with REAL competitiors from the past.

I think the majority of them are on vacation.
I'm pretty sure you're in the overwhelming minority. Lol. xD
I know, that's why I posted that. Usually, I can't stand him and for some reason, I felt like I could sorta understand his point of view for some things. Does that mean, I'd be a villain on the show?
People hate Laurel because she's a bit cocky & self-assured, yet she actually has a right to be given how she performs on the playing field. Yet, people love Wes for the exact same reasons even though he is all bark and no bite 90% of the time. The world is a confusing place.
I agree. Laurel has definitely proven herself, and her cockiness is confidence that she can do well. I never saw anything wrong with that. Furthermore, it is refreshing to see someone on the challenge that actually cares about winning versus the other ****.
i just hope there is a Duel 3, and we see her with the likes of Evelyn, Jodi, Rachel, and Aneesa in individual competition.
Those who rise must eventually fall...
It'll be interesting to see how Wes acts on his next Challenge, whether his experiences on this one have served to humble him or will he blame others for his failure. Clearly he was just an inferior competitor this time around, say what you will about Mandi but he went home because of his own failure in his Exile. Noone in their right mind should listen to any **** he talks or rally behind him on his next Challenge, because he was quite exposed this time.

He has always been exposed. On the first Duel he threw Evan in against CT. Who the **** would want to go against CT?

That was actually a very smart move on Wes' part. Still can't believe he talked Evan into that. This time around though, he overthought things, and the fact that he would keep Ryan/Theresa around over someone in their alliance is ridiculous. That's what started Wes' downfall this season. I'm sure it's because they considered Ryan/Theresa the weakest team, but Danny's team sucked too. And I'm sure Wes' decision to spare Ryan/Theresa a few weeks ago had a lot to do with him thinking with his ****. Wes could have made it to the end very easily, and made several short-sighted decisions to prevent that from happening. It was pathetic to see him go into self-preservation mode and throw Danny, Landon, and CJ all under the bus. Wes' ego has become so overinflated...I hope he takes another extended break from these.

What I meant was that right after he played Evan, he goes into his confessional saying how "Evan was just a puppet" to him. How did people not catch on after that? It takes his actions on this season to open people's eyes. I don't get it.

I can see why he'd want to keep Ryan/Theresa around for 2 reasons... but really his failure wasn't so much throwing Danny in as is was not calling on Ryan/Jenn to make their allegiance known and draw their lines in the sand early enough. And he still probably would have gone home because Kenny would have put him in, and with his pathetic performance he would have lost against anyone (or was he just demoralized because he was going against his pal?).
I just got to watch this episode tonight... and wow... that is your mighty people's champion Wes Bergman?! This kid was left in the dust by a chick who didn't even have the physical endurance to complete an obstacle course that most middle schoolers could complete. I also loved his excuse that he had to carry "so much more weight" than she did and that's why he was so slow... dude, you were carrying 20 more pounds, you outweigh her by 60 pounds, and you're supposedly this big monster in the weight room... what was the deal?!
Also, Wes was not going slow because he was tired so much, it was because he was getting cramps. That is common for people on steroids that engage in high intensity cardiovascular activities.
