It was just pathetic to see Wes say on the first episode "I'm the strongest guy here and really, it's not even close" as he was snickering, almost as if him doing this challenge was a waste of his time or something. It's too bad these eliminations aren't physical, hand-to-hand type stuff because Kenny and Landon would hurl him around like a rag doll.

Good grief, did he really say that? I must have tuned it out, because sometimes, I think the only thing he's really best at (except maybe swimming) is being delusional. He might be able to play the game well, and have lots of good luck (like the Duel), but dude...you are NOT the strongest guy there.
Eh, don't worry about TJ's tastes....She has a thing for Evan so... :p
For the record, I don't think Evans hot either.

Good. Evan looks nasty and old.
Anyway's What Wes did last night was stupid.

I don't think he looks old and nasty, then again I think picking on people because of their looks is pretty nasty. I still heart him though. :D.
I love how people here question Wes' Duel 1 win but everyone is quiet on Evan winning the Duel 2.
Yes, Wes did beat Brad in the final challenge mainly from the penalty shoot out but it was part of the final challenge. Evan on the other hands defeats an injured Brad by what was 2 seconds at most.
Both Evan and Wes got lucky in the final elimination rounds when Brad pulls the miraculous wins against CT and Landon either of which could have the two Duel winners in the final mission.

That's because this is a Wes thread, not an Evan thread :)
I like him, a lot. He's 1 of my favorites. He seems like someone that would be really cool to hang out with, he's intense, funny and has a way of inspiring people.
Watching the Backstage Pass on ******** I kinda felt for Wes when he was talking about Kenny & Theresa, saying "it sucks cause i've been down that road before". People want to hate on him but he's a person and has feelings too, and going through what he went through couldn't have been easy.
I think he tried to copy Kenny on ep2 when he (Wes) was like «Why all the hottest girls on this show fall in love with me?» [or smth like that, talking about Theresa]. it sounds like Kenny's «I'm mr Beautiful»

Wes tried to copy Kenny?
You have got to be out of your mind dude

And the fact that he was dead serious was hilarious.
I like Wes, but sometimes he is dump. just too much show what a cool and smart he is. (Wes). "I have a plan, I have a strategy, I have the power!" it is childish and stupid. I'm glad that finally someone teach Kenny that mrs beautiful is not the best player ever but Wes slightly over-do
No.. His only concerns were picking from a hat, because he knew he was going in every time if they didn't. The only friends against each other, he was mad because they were attacking him personally, which Johnny clearly stated.
JEK using him as the scapegoat was honestly a strategic play. As shady as it was, it made sense. They came in great friends (along with Derrick) so they said that their strategy was to protect each other, and it worked. It wasn't like they were only doing it to Wes cause after he left they moved onto Syrus and after Syrus left they moved onto Darrell. Wes blew up when KA was voted in and called them lowlifes. During the reunion Wes said it made sense strategically for them to do that but was still upset about it. Kenny and Evan never sold each other out. Wes selling Danny out is shocking and pretty disappointing to me. I think Wes should be concerned about the team who could beat him not someone in his own alliance who promised loyalty to him.
And I remember seeing a daily at the beginning of the ruins when Wes said he shouldn't ever have to go into the ruins because he was a "top dog". He said that to Evan.
I'm getting a bit bored of Wes now, he is only entertaining to watch when he has his back up against the wall, not when he is in control of the whole challenge.
Wes has been talking about MTV giving him money, and booking a television show. Maybe he's coming out with his own show? Probably something about entrepreneurs, maybe?
I don't know if I'd want to watch that...it really depends what the show is about.
I wouldn't either. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I don't think Fresh Meat 2 was a good showing of Wes at all but I still consider him a top tier competitor. He didn't win many missions on the first Duel but he did come close in quite a few of them. As far as I can tell, he was the third best male overall, on the Duel, with only CT and Evan in front of him.

Lets talk about Wes' overall performances on the challenges.
FM1: Only reason he beat all those other people in the exiles was because he had a lot less weight to carry.
D1: Only won two missions and they were swimming missions. Lucked out that CT got dq'd and only beat Brad because of the soccer kick. Only good thing we saw him do was beat Derrick.
Ruins: Didn't perform any better or worse then any of the other competitors. I did hate him more when he decided to throw the missions for himself, whereas other teams in the past like the RR team on I1 threw it for the entire team. Went up against poor players in 1on1's and got beat badly by Cohutta.
FM2: Never won a mission, not even close. Lost in the exile because he didn't have the weight advantage like he did in FM1. He may say he gave up but I don't believe that at all. That's a cop out.
So if all that spells top tier competitor then I completely agree with you.

I don't think anyone has ever said it better. I 100% agree, but then again I'm such a hater of Wes :D
Faceless is dead on. Wes is a middle of the road competitor, that's it. The only thing he's accomplished is beating Derrick on The Duel I, which left him drained. He's also incredibly annoying. He can't ever just laugh and have a good time. He's always talking about how he's the best, but like Kenny, he has no evidence to back it up other than winning the first duel which he completely lucked out on as pointed out above.
