Darrell Taylor Returning to the game that made him a Challenge legend, Fresh Meat 1 champion Darrell heads to British Columbia in search of his fifth Challenge win. A bloody brawl with Brad sent boxer Darrell home early during The Ruins, but this time Darrell promises that he is focused on the game. Sizing up his competition, Darrell observes, "We got some loons! We got some strange birds here, so it's gonna be fun!" Will this Fresh Meat champion be the front runner? Or will he be the biggest target in the game?

If people are smart they'll get rid of Darrell early! I like him, but I don't want to watch him win ANOTHER challenge. He's had enough! :-p
Darell looks so damn hot! But yeah I hope he has a better showing than on the Ruins.
Darrell's track heavily suggests it will be very difficult to get rid of him. With the exception of the Ruins, he's won just about every Challenge he has been on. If anything, he is a steadying force for his team.
He is definately dominating and still has never lost an elimination round or lost a final mission in my books that makes him heavily underrated and always someone to worry about.
How is he underrated? He's won almost every challenge he's been on? I'd call him the biggest threat to win there!

I don't think he's underrated at all. Everyone knows he's the man to beat. (except maybe Wes. He only considers himself a winner). :)
Lets talk about how badly Darrell would have beaten Wes had they fought on The Ruins
Lets talk about how badly Darrell would have beaten Wes had they fought on The Ruins
How about in a elimination round.......too bad it may never happen. I believe Darrell would definately take Wes out in a physical event.
How about in a elimination round.......too bad it may never happen. I believe Darrell would definately take Wes out in a physical event.
Depends on what it was.
Depends on what it was.
As long as its not something with heights..... and if it was a matter of who was stronger, then Darrell would take it no doubt. Very few competitors could take out Darrell in a strength match.
It has yet to be seen. He was never in a strength elimination round, Wes was and won!
Yes he was, against Danny, and he easily beat him. And that's not the only time Darrell showed his great strength......he also easily beat Stephen(who was much bigger) in a westling match during the face off against Las Vegas on his Road Rules season(Stephen's own words were....."If I were to wrestle Darrell, he would destroy me"). He also proved he was stronger than Abram and Theo(RR), which means he was also stronger than the Miz......on the Inferno 1, in the first mission with the wire, he got a much faster time than Abram, and that mission was all about arm and hand strength. And on Fresh Meat 1, he beat Theo(not to mention Kenny) in the "Human Ox Pull". Yes Aviv helped him a little, but he did most of the work and i'm sure Chanda(Theo's partner) was stronger than Aviv. Darrell's boxing background gave him a physical edge over most competitors. Also Derrick, though he is a great competitor, is not as strong as Darrell.

Darrell was constantly out-performed by Theo on Gauntlet 1, and by Abram on Inferno 2. If I remember correctly, Syrus had the fastest RW time on that wire mission on The Inferno, beating out The Miz, David, and CT. So your argument is flawed. You can't take people's performance in one mission and use that to say so-and-so is stronger than so-and-so, it's about looking at the whole body of work. Otherwise you could just sit here and say Ace is stronger than Alton because he had a faster time in the Dog Day Afternoon mission on Inferno 3, even with a weaker partner. Ridiculous argument to make, right?

Ridiculous argument to make, right?
It was a known fact that Darrell was stronger than Abram on the Inferno 1, as Holly stated him and Timmy as being the "two strongest". Also, i'm talking about physical strength alone, yes Theo was a better all around competitor than Darrell, but not stronger. And Darrell was strong in missions when it counted the MOST, otherwise he was just an average competitor, but still feared because of his boxing background like on the Inferno 1 when the Real World team opted to go against Timmy in the Inferno instead of Darrell.
It was a known fact that Darrell was stronger than Abram on the Inferno 1, as Holly stated him and Timmy as being the "two strongest".
To be fair, weren't Holly and Darrell sleeping together on that challenge? That might make Holly less than objective. I think that Darrell is capable of more than what he lets on. He's stated in a bunch of interviews that his whole strategy is to fly below the radar. I think he said at some point that he purposely tries not to excel in the earlier missions. I do agree with Superboy that Darrell pulls through when it matters -- during eliminations and during final missions (granted, Darrell's elimination round record isn't that impressive). Also, towards the end of Fresh Meat, he and Aviv started doing really well (although that may be because several of the strongest teams had already been eliminated at that point). However, I don't consider Darrell in the same league as CT or Landon. I would put Darrell in the same tier as Wes and Brad.

My mistake. I take that back.

He will always be the Challenge King IMO! He better be on the next season.

He is the black king of the Challenge!

His words, not mine though^^

He needs to make his epic comeback asap! If he wins, he'll have 5/7 victories which will be more impressive than Johnny's wins.

I honestly don't see why they haven't tried to make some type of storyline with Darrell v.s. Johnny but this is BMP/MTV.

I feel like they would if Darrell would do it. He seems like he would work with Backpack instead of go against him.
