Fresh Meat 2: Danny Jamieson

Danny Jamieson Last seen on The Ruins, veteran Danny returns on Fresh Meat 2, dying for a win. A nice guy by day, when night falls, Danny often loses his temper and his sanity. Despite multiple tries, he has never won a Challenge and it's starting to eat at him. His goal is to buy a house for him and his wife, Real World: Austin alumni Melinda. Can Danny play it cool and win it all for his better half? Or will the pressures of the game release the beast and wreck his chances?

They did a great job of making this guy sound like he is crazy. Also is it me or does he look completely different.

Didn't he break up with Melinda? When were this bio's written?
Great another season of watching this guy panic.
Is it just me or does he look different? A good different though.
It looks like his forehead grew a little bit. And... Danny... a beast?

wait is he still with Melinda?
wait is he still with Melinda?
Nope.
Nope.
What happened between them
What happened between them
Answered in another thread. I suggest you go back and read it. Conversation starts here.
Continuing the discussion:
Huh by him sayin either "me wes evelyn or anyone else has to win" is talking trash?
No, but here's one of those good ol' caveats: by him thinking he's really a "bad ***" just because he's on the Bad *** team, by him worrying about the Good Guys losing one mission and touting that as some sort of victory on his behalf, by him dictating that he personally isn't going to, quote "let Coral get to the final challenge...[he's] not going to let that happen," by him going into his first show acting as if he's a celebrity with his hot girlfriend and a ring that he didn't even buy, that gives people reason to criticize him. That, in tandem with making a comment about needing to win, in tandem with his track record of being one of the most mediocre people on these shows, gives people reason to criticize him.
A lot of people could see or believe what Nehemiah called him out for during the Austin reunion as well. Plus he appeared overly possessive of Melinda and would sometimes freak out over the smallest things concerning her. And a lot of people didn't like the Austin season and cast overall.

Thanks. :D

I dont think he thought he was bas *** as once he found out his team he questioned why he wasnt on the good guys. He didnt say he needed to win he basically said anyone on my alliance needs to win. Its almost impossible to judge how he does on a particular challenge, as not all challenges are individual timed like today's was.
Danny can't win nothing he is what 0-5 now. Its like anybody can take out Danny in a challenge.
What freshmeat was his first challenge, not inferno.
I was talking about Fresh Meat in that specific sentence.
I dont think he thought he was bas *** as once he found out his team he questioned why he wasnt on the good guys.
...which prompted him to say something in the tune of, quote, "We won another $10000. The smell of money. You Good Guys suck," followed by the usually snide grin of his.
He didnt say he needed to win he basically said anyone on my alliance needs to win.
Exactly which goes back to my original statement, "...in tandem with his track record of being one of the most mediocre people on these shows, gives people reason to criticize him." Mind you, this was after the first mission (maybe second) of Inferno 3.
Its almost impossible to judge how he does on a particular challenge, as not all challenges are individual timed like today's was.
Yes, but when you've never had a strong following on in mission ever on any show, you have very little room to critique on another player or team's capabilities. I'm not trying to change your opinion in any way, but merely stating why I see nothing wrong with criticizing him if I disagree with something, and the same goes for anyone else that I'm familiar with when I know them personally or not. I don't want to turn this into that nagging-*** CT thread, so I'll leave it here. BTW: I have so many things italicized because I'm grammar-obsessed, and it's grammatically correct to italicize film titles. :D
Danny to me is an interesting guy and one who would definately be cool to interview. How he perceives himself and reality seem so far off it's quite ridiculous.
I really would have to re-watch Inferno 3 to really argue this, I basically didn't like him before the Ruins. But he was actually pretty normal on the Ruins. IDK why but after he lost all that extra muscle mass from G3 and the inferno he's seems to have gotten better at challenges and more tolerable, and he actually does say some good lines here and there. Don't worry it's ok that you dont like him I'm not sure why i do.
I thought Danny was very likeable in his casting clip. I thought he was really cute and seemed like a nice guy, and I thought he'd be my favorite. I feel awful about what happened to him while he filmed the show. However, I do feel like later in the season, the way he reacted to Melinda was bothersome. And other things about him from there continued to annoy. People were saying how he bashed BMP so much during his speaking engagements, so I was surprised to see him end up being so involved in the challenge world. I think some viewers thought he came off better during The Ruins. I remember some comments about him seeming decent on that challenge.
He lost to Adam, in an elimination where MR. BAD *** could tackle him..thats all you need to know.
He lost to Adam, in an elimination where MR. BAD *** could tackle him..thats all you need to know.
He actually couldnt tackle him thats why he lost. You watch football? Do you the RB is the strongest player on the field? No their just the fastest Adam is faster than a lot of cast mates.

He like completely changed, too, from his original season (RW: Austin) to now. The original description of him (sensitive, humble) doesn't seem to fit him at all. Either he completely changed or the producers were on crack. He is one of the few people on the show I honestly can't find any redeeming qualities in. He seems so insecure and almost fake, insincere.
