Fargo

Anyone check out the new FX series, inspired by the movie of the same name? It stars Martin Freeman (of Sherlock fame) and Billy Bob Thornton. An unlikely bond is formed between a drifter and an insurance salesman in a small Minnesota town. The story is actually quite twisted, morbid, and gruesome... but it is equally as quirky and completely out of left field. Once the premiere got going, it steamrolled through the last half-hour... pure entertainment! I'd really recommend checking it out if you love the original, or are just looking for a new summer show (its a limited series, so 10 episodes only). Very well written and acted... and definitely unexpected.

So far the show is outstanding!! As Billy Bob put it in an interview, it's less like a TV show and more like a 10 hour movie. Every episode is written by the same guy... so it doesn't lose its tone and pacing, and the plotlines are really well thought out for each episode. It rivals, if not outdoes this year's "True Detective" I smell an Emmy... You can't knock it till you try it Nostalgic! Just give the premiere a go! haha

Fargo has been renewed for a new season next year, with an all new cast and locale!! The writer has decided to make the show an Anthology.. and much like True Detective and the movie Fargo, it will focus on a single case each season. The 1 1/2 hour finale was just on last night and i'm so sad its already over!! That was a phenomenal first season!! So many twists and turns in each episode... main characters have come and gone, locations have shifted, timelines have jumped back and forth... the show was insane! Yet it still maintained the cool calm happy go-lucky madness of the movie it's based on lol Definitely a recommended series!! My favourite new show of 2014

This is the reaction I expect from most. I love KD though...she's awesome
