Fall 2008 Network Television Schedule
Here are the network shows (i.e. not counting cable offerings) that I will probably at least give a shot this fall, with new shows in Blue and shows that are on the verge of being "cut" from my schedule in Red. Sunday Amazing Race Monday Chuck Heroes My Own Worst Enemy Tuesday House Fringe Eli Stone Wednesday Pushing Daisies Private Practice Dirty Sexy Money Thursday Survivor Grey's Anatomy Life On Mars Friday Crusoe Life
There are definitely some that I'm glad to see return and can't wait until the new seasons. I might give some new ones a try but dunno if I'll actually get around to it lol Oh yeah and....FFFOOOTTTBAALLLLLL!

Oooh I'm excited to see Fringe too! It looks pretty cool and different :)
There really looks like there is some interesting shows starting out.

I love the fall season. My birthday, and lots of good shows! I think I am jumping on the bandwagon and saying Fringe looks interesting.

Oooh I'm excited to see Fringe too! It looks pretty cool and different
Fringe is at the top of my list for new shows. I am sure it will be a hit. It is X-File meets Cloverfield. How could you go wrong with that? I think that Life on Mars will be similar to Journeyman (which I liked even though it was cancelled) and am willing to give it a shot. The BBC version is huge and the reason ABC is bringing it to the US. I always liked Christian Slater, at least in the early 90's with cult favorites like Pump up the Volume and figure that My Own Worst Enemy is a one trick pony - but I'll give it a few episodes. Crusoe is not my type of show, but a friend who watches early screenings told me it was on par with shows like the Tutors or John Adams with the script and cinematography. He said it was much different than anything else on network TV and to give it a chance. I'll give it a week... Crusoe doesn't look to great, but I am willing to give it a try I guess. I agree with you. i will give it a week to impress me but if not, no sweat off my back.
Has anyone heard if 90210 is supposed to be any good? I loved the original when I was younger( OK I still watch reruns) But I House so I guess I have to choose between the two or finally get DVR. What about Medium, is it not on this fall?

What about Medium, is it not on this fall?
I don't even get CW as the local station is so small Dish Network can't even be bothered with uplinking them with the other local channels, so 90210 is not high on my list. However, Buddy TV lists them as the 2nd most anticipated show. Truth be told, I wouldn't watch even if it was on every channel (I'd read a book or something instead) but that is just me. I had my fill of 90210 back in the day, moved on to Melrose place and finally graduated on to hospital dramas like ER, Chicago hope and most recently Grey's Anatomy. As for Medium. It will premiere in January 2009.
I can't wait for Heroes!!! Here is my list... Sunday: Desperate Housewives Monday: Gossip Girl Heroes Tuesday: House or 90210...still undecided Wednesday: America's Next Top Model Thursday: Ugly Betty Grey's Anatomy (hoping Derek takes an axe to Merideth in her sleep)
Bacchus, you are thinking of cutting Chuck? *** dude! Why? I'm giving at least 80% of all the new shows a chance this year. I'm hoping one or two stick. I have abandonment issues. I'm really looking forward to Heroes, I just got hooked after the second season started and I spent a lot of time catching up and now I am experiencing serious withdraws. Every time I see the promos, I am thoroughly confused. Man, too much time has passed. I hope they do a recap. lol
Bacchus, you are thinking of cutting Chuck? *** dude! Why?
I am not sure. The last two episode they dumped (on the same night) in January just seemed to fall short. I love the premise and I think it has hilarious moments, but I am not sure how long the fish out of water shtick is going to work. I'll be watching, but they better up the ante! :D
Does anyone watch the HBO series, "True Blood"? I love it!
Does anyone watch the HBO series, "True Blood"? I love it!
I have seen the previews but wanted to see how it played out with the critics before committing. I hear it is getting good reviews. BTW: New Pushing Daisies, Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money tonight!
Anyone watch Eli Stone last night? I made a game type decision (mostly because of Katie Holmes) not to watch. I liked the show as a space filler last spring, but didn't want to commit to another series this fall...
Does anyone watch the HBO series, "True Blood"? I love it!
I really like that show. Every episode is a little intense and funny and shocking. It's just great.
I just watched "My own worst enemy" and might give it another week. Nothing special, but being I am dropping shows left and right I guess I need to try and fill the void. Did anyone watch Crusoe last night? I missed it, but notice the first episode is running again next Friday at 6 pm on USA - so I might give it a shot.

It seems as though they are going to change the story line up a bit. For now, I will give it a chance. Better than Chuck has been IMO(definately close to being axed from my list).
