they should pull danica patrick as a host or something
So.... do we have a new host or is it still TJ?
Well I would guess that we will be graced by yet another season of TJ hosting. As much as I would love to see someone different filling the position, no offense to TJ but he has done too many straight :P
I know this was awhile ago, but Dave Mirra was an awesome host.
I know this was awhile ago, but Dave Mirra was an awesome host.
T.J is the best!!!!!!
I thought Johnny Mosley was the best host
Lol Johnny was okay, he didn't have much personality tho. Dave was an awesome host, too bad he's only done Inferno and Inferno 2. TJ's a cool host, it's funny to watch him get ticked when someone trys to quit. I think TJ will be back

I think TJ will be back
I liked Dave as an host too, but I don't like TJ that much as I liked Johnny or Dave, and I think Johnny has more personality than TJ, but I also liked when Eric and Mark were the hosts of Battle of the Seasons, I think its time for them to bring in a new host now
TJ still doesn't understand the game or the fan base. He can't read a cue card or teleprompter to save his ***. He can't deliver a line that sounds original and believable; he just sounds like cardboard. Other than those few things, he's probably a nice guy. I guess we could ask Cara.
Other than those few things, he's probably a nice guy. I guess we could ask Cara.
Oh Snap! Hey, if I was going to be "a nice guy" it would probably be with Cara too.
I also prefer Johnny Mosley and Dave Mirra. I think overall Mosley was the best, but Dave Mirra's hosting job on I2 was my favorite. On I2, Dave explained the rules well, had a little more personality than he did on I1, and he had fun with the cast. He should have been the host of I3 as well since The Inferno was his series. Johnny Mosley also seemed to like the cast (i.e. I remember him hugging Tina when she didn't outlast the guys on the first BOTS2 challenge), he seemed to find some of the situations they were in to be humorous, and just seemed a little more lighthearted. Plus he also explained the rules much better than TJ. TJ - with him hosting, I don't always understand the rules or take in everything that must be done during a mission because of the way he explains the rules. Also, while I think it's good he wants to see competition, I think he oversteps his boundaries sometimes when he goes on and on about someone quitting. Now I don't like when someone like Cameran shows up and quits after the first couple of days, but sometimes people have good reasons for quitting whether it's known to the cast or not. And he seems to take it personal. Also, I don't really like him being the referee for some reason. I wish there would be other people to do that part. I also preferred Mark/Eric to him. If BMP is concerned about a cast member hosting and being partial to their friends who are competing, they should just make sure to have separate referees making the calls.
Other than those few things, he's probably a nice guy. I guess we could ask Cara.
Haaay-oooo!!!! Vevmo- Always one step ahead of the next question. I think it, and it's answered.
i like tj but then again i am smitten by his looks
If TJ popped up every once in a while it wouldn't bother me as much but he is the host for a long time now. Mosley or Mirra would be perfect hosts to bring back or a host that has actually done the challenges before but I doubt we'll see it.

Hey, what about that Lindsay chick from the RW reunion shows?! BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA!!! :sofa:
Hey, what about that Lindsay chick from the RW reunion shows?! BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA!!!
Holy cow. I'd just quit watching.
From what I see on TV, the final product delivered to us the viewers, TJ is fine regardless of what really happens behind scenes :wink2: That's really all I care...It is not like he is competing or putting his personality for judgement like the contestants...
Holy cow. I'd just quit watching.
Imagine her trying to get through a TJ speech or rather try to remember any of the cast's names.

And TJ is the worst to me in explaining the rules, plus I hear less personality in his voice than the others. And he does seem less professional. That's why I prefer the others. It's all based on hosting.
i will agree that he sucks at delivering the rules. I didnt ever think about it too much until after one episode on the island , and colies explaining was so much better, I thought "why couldnt he just say it like that??"
tj is the host it says it on a website Genre Reality TV - Competition Created by Jonathan Murray and Mary-Ellis Bunim Starring TJ Lavin (Host) Country of origin USA Language(s) English No. of series 17 No. of episodes 8
tj is the host it says it on a website
You are talking about Wikipedia and what it says doesn't matter. If you look at the sources they all point to here (and I don't remember anyone here confirming it was TJ.) It very well might be, but it has not been vouched for as of yet. ;)

And he does not edit the final product...I just think it goes beyond the host the way they put it on tv...It's not that I really like him, I just haven't been impressed by any of the hosts, but they don't really bother me because I feel is more production responsibility the way they deliver these programs...It is just my perception...

I'd go for either Dave of Johnny anyday - or even that guy from Viewer's Revenge (Drew Bell!)
busted?
No one quotes Wikipedia here. It's not usually accurate on these things, and they get their info from us. So why bother? Just a joke, I said "busted" because you said "a site", but B knew it came from Wikipedia. That's all. :)

Anyway that site just don't strike me as somewhere to get all the up to date challenge info. Even if it says something about the challenge I always come here first to see what is what. Vevmo just has a better handle on everything and everyone here does a great job!

Cat Deely from So You Think You Can Dance is one of the best hosts I've ever seen. I can imagine her hosting a challenge lol
