Diem (and some other people)Caused that whole **** mess I don't understand why she was all butthurt about him Bagning Shavon. They're not together anymore(if they ever were) he is free to bang whomever and whatever he wants. It's none of her concern and I'm gald Shauvon tried to shut her up on the Aftershow. It sucks that Nick went home I wanted him to stay. And the Duel was kinda boring. More later.
Should we wait up? ;) First, did you miss the early part of the episode where Diem and CT at talking in the kitchen and Rachel comes in and says "Get a room." ? (It is at the nine minute point) Diem had both a reasonable expectation that CT would respect her during their time in NZ. What he did hurt her in three ways: it took away her natural alliance with a power player; it branded her with the rest of the cast as drama-prone; and it made her feel guilty after he was sent packing. In my opinion, she is now entitled to a little "entitlement!" She is also right to be insulted by Shauvon's lack of candor ( perhaps an understandable lack with a million people watching). I know of two people to whom Shauvon has made the admission about hooking up with CT.
Oh boy...very exciting first episode. I feel like people who aren't too culturally well-rounded would be kinda creeped out by that intro (aka my roommate-"What the **** are they doing?") but I thought it was fairly entertaining. Oh CT...that's really all I can say. My mouth was wide open by the time the commercial came. Good to see MJ back. He's a strong competitor. Can't say the same for Nehemiah...I've always considered him weaker. I thought the rules for Phase 2 were extremely straight forward and easy to follow...why was everyone so confused? If needed, I can fully explain :) Shauvon is an IDIOT for picking Aneesa (and for obvious other reasons). Nick, I hope your hand healed nicely!

So basically Diem was mad that now she has no alliance and everyone now thinks that she's this drama magnet now? FAIL. Why would she be so hurt Shauvon hooking up with CT? Didn't he say that they're still Friends and he still cares for her? That alone should've been enough to solidify an alliance between them so why is she so butthurt about Ct having *** with someone? They're not together but he can't get off? What sense does that make? She has no Buissnes being entitled Him boinking Shavon was NONE of her concern and she should've left it alone period.

In fact, I think more people are friends with Diem than CT...people would pick CT out of fear. I feel like Diem was more hurt that she didn't hear it from him; she heard it from a BUNCH of other people. She wasn't "butthurt". There's a difference between your ex-boyfriend hooking up with someone random, and your ex-boyfriend hooking up with someone that you have to cohabitate with and possibly participate in future challenges with.

"Mad" would be my reaction to such a shallow response. Your reliance on the word "fail" is highly amusing. "...but he can't get off? All I can say to that is "Wow..." Is that what *** means to you? If it is, do you want Shauvon's phone number? I realize the challenges are somewhat shallow, but seriously that is an over the top, teenage response if I've ever heard one.

And again why does she even care? THEY'RE NOT TOGETHER ANYMORE why does she need to hear it from him? It's none of her concern.

Picture one of your acquaintances hooking up with someone that you've cared a great deal about and then tell me you wouldn't care. If you still say no, you didn't care enough.

I don't want that girls phone number and you know what? *** means alot of things to me. But that's really not the point. I mean really I Highly doubt that Ct and Shauvon were making love. They were ****ing and getting off is just apart of ****ing is it not? And I still think that Diem should've just left it alone.

And just because I feel that way doesn't mean that I didn't care or didn't care enough.
Actually, it is for me as I read your comments because character colors how I internalize and respond to someone's comments.
So going by that you're gonna respond to me like a teenager because apparently I only think of *** as getting off? Oh and one more thing. I'm getting sick of this "Rookies have to pay their dues" garbage.
So going by that you're gonna respond to me like a teenager because apparently I only think of *** as getting off?
This discussion has gotten really awkward. Just saying. CT is a beast. I thought it was kind of funny that when they took Adam outside he kept trying to get back in to keep fighting, but when CT came outside he ran away. Shauvon picking Aneesa may not have been the smartest call, but it showed she's got balls (figuratively of course, I don't think CT swings that way).
No I wouldn't care. I'm not with that person anymore so why cry over it?
It's called common courtesy...which you don't seem to have much of.
It's called common courtesy...which you don't seem to have much of.
What? So me not crying over my EX ****ing some dude means that I don't have common courtesy? That makes NO sense at all.
What? So me not crying over my EX ****ing some dude means that I don't have common courtesy? That makes NO sense at all.
I mentioned nothing about crying. Please don't put words in my mouth. The point I am trying to make, and that you do not seem to understand, is that the way that Diem found out was not the greatest way. If you heard from more than a few people that your ex, who you were still relatively close with and care for, was hooking up with someone else that you currently live with, it makes it extremely awkward and creates unnecessary drama (as shown by the fight). If you don't give a shit (like you said you wouldn't) you probably weren't as close to him as you thought you were, making the entire relationship a scam of sorts. It does matter that they were broken up, but barely. She obviously still had some sort of feelings for him, and so of course it was going to hurt her to hear the rumors floating around. CT should have exercised common courtesy and not hooked up with anyone on the challenge. Period. I said you had no common courtesy based on the way that you were expressing your words. One does not normally use that type of language when trying to make a logical point. I can't take you seriously if you're going to use phrases like "he can't get off". It's juvenile. Aren't we all adults here?

I really don't know which side to pick. CT is right about not being in a relationship with Diem so he thinks that there really isn't anything wrong with it at all. But I think he is being a little inconsiderate to Diem's feelings. So yeah Diem is more in the right. But I HATED when Shauvon told her to **** at the after show. My goodness I was hoping for Diem to say somthing back. BTW I thought this challenges' format is very very similar to the last Duel's format. The only thing that is different is that you get to save one person and 2 people go home each day. This one is gonna be interesting. I know tons of the spoilers but I still have even more tons of questions in my head.

The whole CT vs Diem thing isn't something easy to decide. Guys will agree with CT while girls will agree with Diem. Thats just the way it is. Girls and guys handle stuff differently. I can't believe how many people were trying to calm CT down, that was insane, he's a monster in ways of being big and scary and a monster as being a pretty awful person. I still don't know why I sometimes root for him when he's on challenges. I can't wait for the rest of the season, in the "coming up on the duel" thing at the end of the episode, Landon was saying to Evan "I'm not afraid of your power trip", wonder what that means, cause I want Landon to beat Evan! HAHA

To me, even though the exact words weren't out of her mouth, it seems like Diem did ask CT and he got mad at her for listening to gossip. My feelings are she puts too much faith in him, he's a jerk and I always want to like him too which sucks. My feelings for Shauvon, haven't changed since RW, I think she's icky. She's laying on the bed, talking with someone saying, something like, 'I would never do what people are saying, I'm not that type of person', but in the interview or confessional thing she says something like, 'I won't confirm or deny what happened, I'm an adult, blah blah blah' with her usual attitude. To me, it seems like even if she didn't do anything (which looks like she did) she certainly wants the attention from viewers to question that maybe she did and that she's a cool ****** for her attitude. Have a mentioned I think she's dirty and icky? I hate watching these right before bed, they get my adrenaline going haha.
This whole thread is hilarious btw. At first I thought the opening was really stupid and I ****. But then I had a flash of the first Duel opening and Veronica making that throat slashing motion during the face off at OK Corral and I realized that all the openings are just ridiculously cheesy. This one is actually one of the better ones. . .its still not good though. If I didn't think CT was on steroids before, the fact that 5 pretty big guys couldn't restrain him definitely makes me think he's on something. I felt like CT used the Diem thing as an excuse to go after Adam because of their history combined with the rage he obviously had going into the challenge. Based on the *editing* Adam wasn't the one that told Diem what had gone down, Katie was. And during the course of the argument Diem even said "Katie said. . ." but instead of confronting Katie and talking about it like an adult he uses Diem as an excuse to do a Drago all over Adam's face. Adam I don't think came to NZ with an evil plan of getting CT to hit him. In fact he was dragged into a volatile situation by Diem, it wasn't a situation of his own creation. Now do I think his face would've been better served by him just walking away, yes I do. Do I think pouring a drink on Frankenstein's monster is the smartest choice in the world, no I don't. But when someone's in your face like that, especially in that type of scenario you can't really walk away without becoming an instant target I completely understand why he felt he had to stand his ground. I agree with Evan, I think the other guys should've stepped in instead of watching it like it was the intro to some WWF special. Everyone knows what CT is capable of and given their history everyone had to know it was going down. While I don't think there was an express plot to get rid of CT, I do think every single guy there slept better knowing one of the biggest male threats was going home. I didn't like the first challenge, I liked the idea of having a rugby faceoff but the rules they made for it totally screwed it up and made it more political. MJ never seems to be a strong competitor on these things imo so I wasn't that thrilled to see him back. I don't think Nehemiah is that great either but he at least adds personality. I felt for Nick, I knew Ryan was going to pick him as soon as he started talking about his hand. Maybe he should've taken whatever Robin's on, maybe it would've numbed the pain. But he ultimately he was probably better off leaving early as opposed to making his injury worse. Based on the dailies I thought Dunbar was going to be on more, so glad that he wasn't. I don't know why they bothered with a "to be continued" it's pretty clear blow up doll barbie gets her butt kicked, they even showed Anessa on the "this season" part. It grabbed my interest that Britini was picked by Landon somewhat early on, I thought all the rookies were going to be closer to the end. That combined with the fact that Britini immediately picked to be in the vet girls room makes me think she's been working on building a strong alliance. Smart girl.
^ Coral or Veronica were not on the 1st duel. What are you talking about?
^ Coral or Veronica were not on the 1st duel. What are you talking about?
I said OK Corral, not Coral. Maybe it happened on one of the Guantlet openings, it had a western theme and some bootleg song that sounded like it was written by Nelly. I don't really remember most of the challenges individually I just know that all the openings are ridiculously cheesy.

I re-watched the episode this morning and completely agree with the criticism of the opening. Bunim Murray must think it is great, though, since they featured a video online about it. One has to wonder what world those people are living in.
I remember it was the Gauntlet and it went "everybody wanna be rockstar" it was all country.
YES! That was it, thanks tjhallow! I guess I'm wondering is the opening really supposed to be serious? I mean if they are trying to be serious than yes it's ridiculous. If they're trying to be camp, they've more than succeeded. Forgot to add that I love that they are doing it in NZ in snow as well, nice switch up.

The making of the opening is hilarious. You have CT sticking his tongue out and making faces before the camera rolls and than Mark at the end with his tongue. ****. Evan, Issac, & Nick have to be the funniest though.
Evan is totally the center of the opening, though.
I didn't really like this episode. I look forward to the rest of the challenge, but this episode was kinda meh to me. I think it was just way too much CT, Diem, Paula, Adam, Ryan, and Evan for me. If Paula talks about being a **** one more time I swear I will... well i don't know but I won't like it. And the opening credits? *** was that? I know it has been mentioned but seriously that was like uncomfortable to watch. I honestly think I was cringing. As far as the duels go, here's hoping Aneesa beats Shauvon. I think I would have preferred Nick beating Ryan, but I won't exactly miss him either so no harm there. Hmm, what else? Oh I hate Evan but have to admit to laughing when he said something about having to talk to Robin "this fool" for 20 minutes. Speaking of Robin, she looks REALLY thin now. I mean, she looks good but it was so crazy seeing her on the field because she looks so much thinner. It's crazy!
