Is anyone watching? I find myself enjoying this show more every season.
What!!! The new season has started! I am totally missing it!

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team is an American reality television series on Country Music Television. It is about the making of the 2008 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders team. It features director and former Dallas cheerleader Kelli Finglass, choreographer Judy Trammell, and former Army drill sergeant Jay Johnson. Over 1000 girls auditioned who were eventually cut down to 35 who made it to the first football game.

Update: Looks like the first two episodes of the new season are on again tonight, so I can record them and get up to speed.

OOoh good! I only caught the end of this one!
BTW.. It's on right now Bacc.... tune in!
Wait...what? This is a show? :p
Yep. It follows the audition process for the squad. I REALLY enjoy it. It's one of those shows you don't think you'd like.. but you kind of fall into.
I am disappointed that some of the ones I liked don't make it and at the same time excited (in some sadistic way) that vets from last season got cut. I was a big fan of Alex and I don't think we got the full story on her "speeding tickets. At least Amy Reese made it as she is to die for hot!
I am tempted to sneak over and look at the full squad on the DCC page, but that would totally ruin the show. ;)
don't do it Bacchus!!!! Let's enjoy this season. I betcha ten bucks Cassie makes the squad. She fumbled at auditions and was still chosen. I hope it's because she has the potential and not because of her mother.

There is major bias there! She seems nice and all, but if I saw her working out at he gym my first thought would not be, "Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader!"
Hopefully the fact that she is on the inside does not preclude her from being judged like the rest of the squad. Still, her being there did offer some sweet sentimental moments.
what is the girls name that was late last year? Is it Brittany? I really like her. I also liked the girl who they made into a red head. She had such a hard time with her kicks last season. Poor girl. :(

I liked Brittany too. I was hoping she would make it but bet they decided she had an attitude problem (still.)
Leah (the new red head) was nice, but she did struggle last season.
Her mom is a judge???
Her mom is the DCC choreographer. Definately an in considering she is probably familar with her mom's style...
So You Think You Can Dance made judges sit out before when a dancer they had trained was in the competition...but I guess she's a little too important to have sit out since this is her only job! As a former dancer, I can say it's a HUGE advantage to be fimiliar with a choreographer's style.
No one was cut this week, but at least they got three cheerleaders to cry! I feel like somewhat of a sadist, but get a bit of a thrill out of watching starving cheerleaders getting reamed for having over 15% body fat. There is an almost acceptable cattiness to it and Kelli is one bad *** queen bee that has no qualms with populating the local psychological practices with patients (for years to come.)
I really don't like Erica though, so I would be fine with her going home. The same can't be said for the Jordans as they both seem nice and are cute.
Looks like next week is when the heads start rolling. Oh how I wish it was an hour show!

Another week, more brutal cuts. I can't remember names but I knew that the one they thought looked like a ****** was bound to get cut. Not to be mean, but even after her makeover her hair looked a bit ratty and why the hell would you be putting pictures of partying on myspace when you already know your employer actively looks there?
I didn't even know the other girl was on the squad, so I won't miss her although I did feel a bit sorry for her being called fat in that fake "trying to be nice" brutally devastating way (i.e. your *** is HUUUUUUUUUUUGE! Even if we starved you for a month, your *** would still be huge. Feel free to try out again next year, if your *** is not as huge, although we don't see how that could possibly be - Bye.)
Did you watch this week?
Nothing too exciting, although lots of tears were shed. Both of the girls cut seemed very nice and I felt bad for them (some weeks I do, others I don't.) Not much else to say. I didn't care much for the flag football. I am more into the interpersonal drama.
p.s. I hate that dance instructor. She thinks she is all that and is well past her "use by" date.
I watched.. and I agree. Nothing to write home about. Lately, the girls cut have seemed rather sweet. I hope some of them come back next year.
I wasnt a real fan of the stripper that was cut... Did her makeover seem non-existant to you too?

Are you sure that isn't the next Gauntlet cast?
Another slow week. There just are not enough villains on this show and I hate to see cute, innocent cheerleaders sent packing with tears in their eyes. :(

How about we just go shopping at Victoria's Secret?

Because then they wouldn't be original...trust me I will make sure the costumes are nothing more than a few pieces of cloth strategically placed for your viewing pleasure :D
