Last time he was part of the group of rookies that includes Tori who hated how Frank and Jillian ran their team which cost him being sent to the Gauntlet and back home. Will he cause as many waves this time around or did he learn to be quiet and play the game? Will the animosity that Johnny and Tyler seem to have ever since the Duel come into play or have bygones been bygones? Previous Challenges: The Duel, Gauntlet 3
Word on the street is that he's a personal trainer, and **** he's huge now (compared to Tyler from Key West). If he plays the social right he might actually go far.

I really wonder if he will align with Johnny or Paula.
Tyler does look like he's been working out or something. I've never really thought of him as being weak though even if he did get eliminated early on the previous challenges he has been on.

I always did like him, especially on Key West (yes, I said it) so I'll enjoy seeing him again.
Go Tyler! Do it for us gays. :)
I hate him so much!
I hate him so much!
Did he skin your puppy or something? What could he have done to you to make you hate him so much?
Well he's done it. He's made it pass the second and now third episode. Lol, a new personal best.
Did he skin your puppy or something? What could he have done to you to make you hate him so much?

I think he will skin Derrick on the last elimination round. So yeah, he skined my puppy, my favorite Challenge player ever. lol

I think he will skin Derrick on the last elimination round. So yeah, he skined my puppy, my favorite Challenge player ever. lol

That's hardly a reason to hate somebody. Hate is a strong word.
OK, I'll be sincere. I am not very tolerant of gay people. They annoy me.
The fact that he has wins against my favorite player of all Challenge history makes me even more mad and angry.
Wow that last post was..just wow. In a thread about something related to Real World, one of the first tv shows that did its best to show that gay people are no different than straight people. Its 2010 people time to get over things like discrimination or stereo typing.
OK, I'll be sincere. I am not very tolerant of gay people. They annoy me.
The fact that he has wins against my favorite player of all Challenge history makes me even more mad and angry.

And they annoy you because...? You know, tolerance is a pretty positive trait, and it is not even hard to be it. I for one am pretty happy that Tyler performs well, and it takes a bit more for me to dislike people than just being something they have no choice about to begin with...
I quite like Tyler and always have. I realize that some people dislike him because of the way he treated Svetlana on Key West but she was a very annoying and ignorant person. i remember her saying on the first episode of Key West that she thought all gays were pedophiles and i remember how she was with beth on The Duel. I've never liked her and i loved how he and Janelle called her out for what she really was. It is possible that Tyler could be the second gay person in history to win a challenge. go him!
It is possible that Tyler could be the second gay person in history to win a challenge. go him!
Really only the second? I know that Danny won one, but didn't Shane win one, too? I'm not absolutely sure about it, but I really thought so. Edit: Okay, Shane didn't :D
ok, I'm not saying that Tyler is a f***** fool, I just don't like gays! That's it. they annoy me feminine manners. I support the fact about the family of female and male.
To me it is his personality that is bothersome and the vile habit he had of breaking wind on people during RW. I have to admit, his swishiness is a part of his personality that I do not like. It isn't the gay per se though. I quite like Mike Manning and Danny Roberts who are also gay who were open without being in your face about it.
He is simply obtrusive. I really liked Shane because he was so awesome and good guy. But Tyler for me is just annoying.
He is simply obtrusive. I really liked Shane because he was so awesome and good guy. But Tyler for me is just annoying.
But it sounds as though you are saying gay people annoy you. Tyler is not annoying because he is gay. He can annoy you because you think he is feminine, or because he is "swishy" (as SeanDaniel put it) but it is not solely because he is gay.
That "I really liked Shane" and your "I don't like the gays. That's it" do not really fit together, you know? Simply because Shane is not as feminine as Tyler does not make him less gay. Gay is gay, there are also straight men who act effeminate, about which is nothing wrong at all. I hope you are still young and will learn that those are no valid reasons to dislike people. (neither being gay, nor being effeminate)

As for Tyler, he is just so in your face with it and his personality seems to be dominated by it--to me it is as if there is little else to him other than he is rude and he is, well, obnoxiously gay . Like Mike Manning had indicated in contrast, he is X, Y, Z, and he is also ******** or gay or however he put it--it isn't that big a part of who he is as a person. If it shouldn't matter, then why let one's personality and life be so seemingly dominated by it?
I don't know, maybe you are right, maybe I'm still too young to understand this. I recognize that this is not good. I understand that gay is gay and I can't explain why I don't like them. I shouldn't have said anything about Tyler's reputation and I feel stupid about this discussion.

However, does it hurt anybody if someone is "in your face" about it? I don't think so. Perhaps it seems as if his personality is dominated by it because he was highly defined by it during school, everyone reducing him to that part of him. And in that case it is much more helpful and healthy to become proud and loud about it than to hide it. I don't know if that's the case with Tyler, but I'm simply getting tired of this argument. (People have to understand that most gays who are so "in your face" about it act that way for a reason, not because they think it's fun that 50% of humanity will immediately dislike them) A totally different thing is if someone acts like a jerk all the time, but imo Tyler does not fall into that category (anymore).
I suggest we move on from this discussion because it is a very heated topic and things can out of hand very quickly.
Hahahaha in the podcast with Derrick, Mark, and Kenny, they did a fantasy draft for how they would have picked the Cut Throat teams, and Derrick picked Tyler as the 6th guy, after Brad, Derrick, Abram, Johnny, and Brandon. Mark's response was hilarious though: "If you ever have a Challenge where you do the splits or lick your own balls, he's gonna be your guy."
I think its funny how D picks Tyler. More ironic than anything.
I think its funny how D picks Tyler. More ironic than anything.
I think it's a smart move if Derrick, Kenny, and Mark are kinda serious about this whole thing. I mean, Derrick knows what happens and he actually defended Tyler when Mark made fun of him... I wonder why ?? lol
I think it was more of a cop out.
I think it was more of a cop out.
I can't really disagree with this either.
