I like Jenn. I think she's a good competitor and semi-entertaining, but I just have this feeling that they're trying to fill the "bad girl, loud mouth" type since Coral/Veronica/Tina are gone. She just doesnt compare. =/
Not even close.
And no more Pete on the Challenges? Awesome news!!
She seems to rub me the wrong way. I feel like she plays up the "I'm a bad ***" thing too much. I don't know. I think she's nice and everything, but the bad *** thing irritates me.
I think she is real.
The only thing where she gets negative points with me at is the ******** issue.
Her being a ********? Or her making a big deal when someone brings it up?
Yeah it's stupid, its been a national tv she can't really deny it.
She can deny it, I don't care about that part.
I just don't like the way she freaks out on people about it.
The reason she gets upset is because she isn't bi. She is attracted to men and always was. She was never attracted to Rachel sexually, she fell in love with a girl with an amazing personality. It's like saying a girl who made out with another girl is bi... it's not true. Girl's always mess around, and do stuff with each other and it's not considered gay (I also do think it's a big hypocrisy regarding men). Every time I go to a bar, I see 2 girls kissing. Look at Paula, is she bi for fooling around with Emily? And believe me that is not the only think Paula has done.
She is more upset at the fact at her getting called out, when all these girls aren't focused on, and do just as much, if not more than she does.
And she doesn't try to be a bad ***. She actually doesn't want to be looked at like that. She plays the game strong. She doesn't want to be the next Coral or Veronica. Call the editors out not her.

I understand that which is why I said she's nice and everything. How she is shown on the show just rubs me the wrong way.

I wasn't directing it towards you, at all. I can see how people can be rubbed the wrong way by Jenn, but people have to understand the camera's are always around, and she is not a camera *****... she doesn't run up when a camera comes by and says let me do something for the camera to focus on me... Coral didn't do that either. I am actually confused as to why someone compared her to a "Coral" or wanting to be a "Coral" type.
I'm not sure anyone said she was straight-up bi, but the comment made when she was about to get in and then ditched the hot tub was about how every girl was a little bi, which she can't deny. And yes, plenty of girls make out with other girls, but most of them don't have relationships with girls.
As for her "bad ***" image...she just has a loud mouth and doesn't care if she offends anyone when she says things. I was annoyed when she was yelling at the last challenge at Cara Maria about how she might have to stop because it might kill her. I get she's on another team and it's just a joke, but yeah...that's not cool.
Yeah, why is she so sensitive about the ******** thing? Nobody really cares. I don't even think she's bi, I think she fell in love with Rachel - Rachel seems to have that affect on otherwise straight girls. I don't know what it is, but she has it.

:clapping:
This is exactly how I would've explained it. Just like you said, she isn't bi and when her name gets associated with the topic it makes her upset, which she has every right to be because it's not how she wants to be seen. And who knows, maybe besides that she doesn't like being reminded of the whole Rachel situation so that just adds to the annoyance.

You're right (I guess techincally I am agreeing with myself). The situation sucks for her. She happened to get really close with a girl, when they she was stuck on an Island. Her and Rachel don't have bad blood, but in any other circumstances outside the house and challenges, Jenn would never hook up with Rachel. It was a "confined" environment situation. Sure they would be good friends, but no "feelings" would have evolved.

Maybe it was mostly about capturing camera time, ala Tila Tequila?

I agree. I also don't think Jenn was prepared to enter a challenge (Duel 2) with both Rachel AND Aneesa. If it were me, I'd be a little uncomfortable in that situation as well.
Jenn isn't really the religious type. She definitely wasn't wierd about it because of religion. She just wants to move on past the relationship thing.
you'd be surprised - there's all sorts of religious people. she may not be big on actually PRACTICING her religion, but most Americans identify themselves as Christian. Most Americans don't seem to be very serious about it, though.

If anyone here knows anything about Jenn, it will be CRG. I'd take his word for it.

There's also her family to consider and would they want her on television in situations like those. When they're in the moment and there's alcohol involved, as with anyone, you do things without thinking long-term or what effect it'll have on people around you. I got the vibe from all the coverage that she was experimenting, fell in love with Rachel the person, and chose to not continue pursuing women. It's her life, so I don't get why people are judging her for it.
No one is judging her; it just seems like she's treating her relationship with Rachel as something that wasn't her. Would she have been less upset if someone called her "progressive" instead of "a little bi"?
