It would have been interesting especially since Melissa and Julie didn't get along. And Coral wearing Melissa's shirt on Inferno. Such a shame that didn't happen
From what I remember, Tonya did an interview on a website and said the girls going were her, Veronica, Tina, Coral and Melissa. Rachel and Beth must have been the last minute replacements. I'm assuming Melissa dropped out when Coral dropped.
I would believe that. If im not mistaken, I remember hearing that jon and beth were actually last minute replacements too. Im pretty sure coral was supposed to be in beths spot but im not sure who melissa was supposed to go in place of.
It definitely seems plausible that Melissa and Coral opted out, and Beth & Rachel took their spots. Who did Jon supposedly replace on the Good Guys? He did seem out of place next to all the people from Campus Crawl, South Pacific, Extreme, Philly, Paris, and San Diego

I thought Mark was supposed to be on the cast but dropped out last minute so maybe him?
I miss Melissa. She was funny on the one challenge she did.
Me too and she did well in the missions even though she put on an act that she was weaker than she actually was!

Melissa was definitely a one-hit wonder. She made quite an impression on Battle of the Sexes. Paula wishes that she could match Melissa's awesome one-liners & commentary.

Puck was supposed to be on the bad***** i think

Agreed. "I want you to keep my name out your **** mouth." Lmao.
Can this be confirmed? That would've made me like inferno 2 more.
He was in early talks but wanted a lot more money than what they were offering. I believe the Miz or another guy confirmed this.
Does anyone know the first challenge that held elimination rounds and not vote offs? I want to go re watch the challenges in order but don't want to watch the early ones without eliminations, unless I'd be missing out?

Gauntlet 1 was the first

The first Battle of the Seasons didn't have elimination rounds but it is worth watching...so were Battle of the Sexes IMO
The Gauntlet was great IMO--start with either and go from there

Battle of the Seasons 1 was forgettable. Besides the introduction to castmembers like Mike and Coral, Emily, Veronica, Theo Von...you can hold off on watching this.
Battle of the Sexes 1 was a great challenge. Nice mix of drama and competition and fun. Lots of cool castmembers who haven't returned since but were memorable - Melissa, Puck, Emily, Ellen...
All of the BOTSeasons/Sexes episodes are on youtube, you can probably watch them in a day or two. Enjoy!
Isn't Puck suppose to be like the biggest villain/most hated real world cast member ever? Or is he just the original? I've never seen him on tv but have heard about him.

Not really a villain in my opinion because on BOTSexes, pretty much everybody loved him besides Ellen and David E. The cast actually rallied behind him after an altercation with David E.

Watch battle of the sexes 1. Puck is by far one of the most interesting/entertaining cast members real world/roadrules has ever had

I'll have to wholeheartedly disagree about BOTSeasons 1. That's a classic. That challenge more than any other truly felt like a group of people just genuinely enjoying themselves on a vacation while getting the opportunity to play some fun games and win some prizes. It's such a contrast to the cutthroat (no pun intended) nature of the current challenges. Between the toga party, the newlywed game, the midget wrestling (this happened right? there was something like it), Timmy peeing on the ice car and Danny and Kelley quitting that same challenge to have a cocktail instead. Good stuff.
But it wasn't lacking in drama. Hollywick vs. Belou ("They called me a bad muddah!!"), Hollywick vs. Everyone, Coral vs. Slappy Stephen, the introduction to Mike the Miz, Osama Beth Laden, Jisela vs. the inner circle. Good times.
Plus, some good old-fashioned competition. Kelley killing that rope climb is still one of my favorite moments. Plus, I have a soft spot for Inner Tube Tango.

I'm in such agreement with all of this. Sidekick Showdown, the toga party, Kelley of RW9 killing the buoy climb, the car mission where Miz burnt the clutch out on some Saturns, Timmy ******* so he does not lose the mission to get the ice sculpture Saturn, siamese twin wrestling with the Miz talking out his *** like Ace Ventura and HURRICANE JULIET (and how it changed that Challenge forever by forcing them to create the Vertical Limit/buoy climb, Inner Tube Tango/musical chairs, and the bunji slam dunk followed by Theo Von wrecking a scooter he just won not to mention the Toga Party.) Sean Duffy actually won 2 cars and a share of the Final money during the Challenge.
To be honest, I would not mind seeing Holly or Chadwick but not Hollywick on another Challenge.
It's great the Miz achieved his dream of being a wrestler but I miss him on these shows. It'll never happen, and They couldn't afford him anyways but I wish they would do a throwback challenge with Ruthie, Theo Von, Coral, Miz, Abram, Randy, Brad, Landon, Tonya, Katie.
One can dream.

Agreed 100% and retract my statement. I also have a soft spot for Inner Tube Tango LOL...
I meant to skip it for somebody just starting to watch these to start with something like BOTSexes. For someone who has watched these forever like myself and you BOTSeasons was great. The missions were fun, there was only elimination drama and there was just laid back castmembers who I wish came back for more [Kelley, Josh, Tara, Holly, etc]

I agree so much. Battle of the Seasons was one of the best seasons of the challenge. It had it all: Competition, Drama, Fun, Comedy. Everything These challenges should be. That season is top 5 for me.
Oh and Kelly Climbing up that rope so fast is also one of my favorite moments from these shows.
Did Mike and Coral date? When he votes her in it seems like there more than friends on the Gauntlet. I thought Abram and Coral were an item this challenge.

They've at least definitely hooked up before

I concur wholeheartedly. Seasons 1 is my #2 all time favorite challenge after Sexes 1. The variety of cast members, genuine drama, real friendships & good hearted players like Holly, Elka, Becky, Lindsey & Sharon make it enjoyable from start to finish. Even the "villains" are people you love to hate unlike the villains of today who just make you want to barf. I am glad there are so many old school fans here who appreciate the early challenges.
And count me in as another fan of Kelley destroying the climbing mission. Damn, that season had so many memorable moments.
