wasn't eric nies on some reality show in the last few years, maybe on VH1, where they took a bunch of has been stars paired them up with life coaches and career advisors and such? Forget the name of it. I just saw part of maybe 1 or 2 episodes.
He was on that VH1 show, but like you, I forgot the name of it. He looks good for 39 years old!

It was a pretty good show, but it was definitely one of those shows that you kind of watch in the background while doing something else.
Didn't Puck get a ton of money for appearing on Battle of the Sexes? Like 20,000? I kind of wish he wasn't there. There was too much focus on him.
I agree! And wasn't his wedding an entire episode? Lame. I was so happy when he trashed the house and peaced out.
sorry I missed that episode. My only recollection of it was they all were bending down backwards for Christopher Atkins and treating everybody else like junk.
On Landon's blog he states "The $7500 I get to show up now is just barely worth the time and effort and damage it does to your personal and professional life." $7500 it is. If I had more important things going on, I would easily turn that down. If I'm idle for a month or two, then it's a nice paid vacation almost.
Based on what Evan has said, I assume this is his profession for now. Seems he said on the last Duel that he didn't have anything going on in life except for the challenges. I suspect what you get paid is less important for some than just being on television again and continuing to get all the perks that go with being a recent reality star.
Especially when you win the final missions and come home with $50,000 +
Sure, but it isn't like people go on the Real World for 4 months for $5K total because it pays well. They seem to all think they are going to be the one to really make it and I cannot think of one that I know of who really has "made it" as a result of being on one of these shows. Plus Evan is Canadian, so with our ****** economy in the US, that was like $40K by the time he got across the border.

I'm sure he's the highest paid RW/RR alumni right now.
I thought the Canadian dollar was weaker than the U.S. dollar. 1.00 CAD = 0.972143 USD
I was just being silly. I don't know what the exchange rate is now. I think it is pretty even. $50KUS would be like $51K Canadian today. I was interested in maybe buying some property near Toronto a year and a half ago and the exchange rate was pretty bad then. I assume that Evan would get taxed in the US and in Canada and would end up actually paying a lot more of his winnings out. That brings up an interesting question: If the challenge is overseas, does the winner have to pay taxes where the money was won, plus where they live, plus the US if they are not from the US? Anybody know?
You can also count: Judd from RW San Fran, who is a very very succesful comic book writer Jacinda from RW London, model and actress. Mallory, model for lots of things. Sean from Boston, running for Congrees and ex-DA They may not be in spotlight but they are succesful in their chosen fields.

I don't know. I don't follow wrestling and don't know how he is doing in the sense there seems to have been way too many wrestling variations for me to know what is doing well and what isn't in that arena. I guess your point is well taken since he did do the challenge, but I don't think that is what got him to where he is.

I could be wrong though, but I'm fairly sure that all of the Survivor winners only pay US taxes.

I am sure a lot of them do well. I just don't know how many of them can attribute much of their success to having been on the shows. I certainly don't think Sean Duffy is running on the reality star platform of the GOP.
Duh, he has a verified twitter account. My new roommate's big on the WWE stuff and said that the Miz is pretty well known now and gets a lot of airtime on their weekly shows. I've caught a glimpse of some of it, and he seems to enjoy saying "I'M AWESOME!" a lot.
Kevin (RW: new york) is in politics so I guess he's pretty successful. Jamie (RW: san diego) has been successful with acting Dave (RR: south pacific) has been on a few shows, most notably Grey's Anatomy Rachel (RW: san fran) i see her on tv sometimes talking about political things. Christina (RR: australia) is now employed on the round table for Chelsea Lately and joined her "Chelsea Lately Comedians". i dont really wanna count trishelle or beth or tonya or anyone whose done a few things here and there as "making it", since i dont think they are steadily involved in a career.

In between the rest of his challenges he kept training and wrestling in the indys, and he left the challenge world cause he wanted to actually concentrate on wrestling. Now a days he is one of the top bad guys in WWE, is extremely over (wrestling term that fans react a lot to him), and has a brief case that grants him the chance to battle for the biggest championship any time, anywhere. If you've ever been a fan of Real World, Challenges and Miz its kinda cool to see his growth from wrestling fan to wrestling superstar. Also forgot, he's up for biggest baddie at Australian Nick Kids Choice Awards!
Does anyone know what Rachel (B2NY) is up to nowadays?
Does anyone know what Rachel (B2NY) is up to nowadays?
She's a fashion stylist in LA. http://twitter.com/dearachelsdiary

I am not sure if this was already brought up, but Tami from LA will be on the new season of basketball wives on vh1... Hello Old School Real World
I am not sure if this was already brought up, but Tami from LA will be on the new season of basketball wives on vh1... Hello Old School Real World
Wow that's pretty interesting. I liked her on The Real World. I thought she was pretty. It's good to see her do another reality show, although I think it should have been a challenge.
:( I was kind of hoping that she would make an appearance again.
That sucks, but Rachel doesn't need to prove anything anymore. I think she returned to the Challenges to prove to herself that she could still go..and well she did that on Duel 2.
Does anyone ever truly stayed retired? I won't count Rachel out just yet.
Miz, Eric Nies, Timmy Beggy..there are 3 retired folk right there.

It turns out you cant bring the big red one with a skull on it made out to "Bad *****" to the bank...
