The Challenge: Unpopular Opinions

I don't mind the "lazy" casting since they cast the people that bring ratings to the show which means the show will continue. Let's face it CT, Bananas, Wes, Nany, Camila and that "core" group is what brings ratings which is why they keep getting asked. I've been watching the challenge for a long time and I could care less about Kefla coming back or Eric and Sahar being brought on. They would bring nothing to the show so why waste spots on them. I wouldn't mind Rachel and Darrell but I don't need them to be on. It seems like most viewers now don't know Rachel and Darrell so they definetly don't know Kefla. They've tried to bring on other people like Coral, Kellyanne and so many others but many of them are declining. Can't fault them for that.

You're right. We can't fault them for castmembers declining but we can fault them for not even asking people that want to get on. I understand that this show needs ratings to survive and I get that they bring people on because they have fanbases and such but I don't think it's too much to ask that they give a few spots to some people who haven't been on for awhile or may be "boring" just to see how they would do in a challenge enviorment or people that just want to do them. People who were boring on their Real World/Road Rules seasons have came on the Challenges and Delivered. (Katie, Devyn) And people who were entertaing on their RW/RR seasons have came on the challenges and have not done a **** thing. (JD, Sarah) so you can't really say that since they were boring on their respective season tha they will be on The Challenge. 

I think it's a risk to put people like Eric and Sahar on the slim chance that they will be entertaining even though they were extremely boring on their season. Why risk that wasting spots when you have people who will definetly bring drama? Also Sarah isn't boring she plays the happy go lucky, strong willed, den mother character well in the midst of all the drama. 

That is what I JUST said. Free Agents was not their fault at all...but at the same time they're not bringing in ratings like people think they are. People make it seem like they make or break this show & they really don't, other factors go into it.

She IS boring. I mean what drama has she caused? What big memorable moments does she have? NOTHING. She's just nice and barely does anything. She's no more interesting than anyone else that's deemed too boring to get on the show.

Well they were on Free Agents and the ratings sucked so clearly they're not doing much. And I don't think that the Day Change had anything to do with it.

So she's boring because she doesn't go around trying to start useless fake drama?

Well she doesn't necessaily have to be this mega Drama***** to be entertaining. She could just be funny with good commentary like Devyn. but she doesn't even do THAT. I mean she's just there to me.

I know from time to time people take bout him coming back but his wife won't let him and how she's awful for not letting him blah blah..But Honestly IMO does he really need to come back? I mean the guy has done 9 challenges and won 3 of them. We know he's a good competitior and we know that he can be entertaining. What else is he gonna do that he hasn't done already? I mean he had his time on the show. Let him be a family man and move on.

Besides I feel like if he ever came back he would just be Backpack's *** like he was in the past with JEK and there's no need to see that again IMO.

I really want to see Noor back. When he compete alone on FM2, he really showed what a fierce competitor he is. He is little but fast as ****.

This, I agree with. Noor, Aviv and Carley are three people I'd like to see again.

I agree but I wouldn't want to see people that have done a ton of these(Abram/Darrell/Rachel/Derrick) But I would want to see Roadies that haven't done alot of these Like Dan(Viewer's Revenge) or Derek(Viewer's Revenge).

And EW @ the thought of more Non-castmembers infesting these shows. No thank you.

Eh Luke wasn't too bad(although he was pointless).

But I feel like Dan could be wild and funny and lord knows we need more of that on these shows.

The Island is not as bad as people make it out to be. IMO Inferno 3, Gauntlet 3, Duel 2, Fresh Meat 2 and Exes are all worse. 

He needs to come back because I miss him and I want to see how he competes with the new kids. I love Derrick. 

Absolutely. I could never get too much of Derrick! Plus, it has been WAY long enough since he's been on so it would be like a new face for newer fans.

I agree. I've always liked Robin and I think she should get a win.

Speaking of Robin I was rooting for her hardcore on Battle of the Sexes 2 and i wish she would've made it to the end.

We've all had our unpopular Challenge opinions, but what about other shows? lol

For example I think Natalie Nunn is the Queen of the basic*******. She is also a big reason of why that show turned into such mindless bullshit. She is also FAR from a "bad girl".

Jonna has been boring sometimes but I still like her. I think she is very straight up person which I respect. When she didn't like Camila, she told her. When she thought Jemmye was fake, she told her.
