One thing I do hate with this show is how people call the castmembers athletes and how there's this belief that being good at this show makes you an athlete. Now granted some of these people are athletes but alot of these people aren't and shouldn't be considered real athletes. This show isn't a sport.

This is partially about my post but I agree with what you are saying here. Wasn't trying to imply Jenna is an actual athlete. That would make me as dumb as Jenna

It wasn't actually. I was talking about in general.

But your post did make me think of it though. so maybe it was.

I figured that's what it was. I just wanted to clarify because I think we are in agreement about most of this. I just have a lower standard for what I consider athletic I guess

Yeah you're right. I have a completly different standard when it comes to that.

Yeah i feel you DA. I cringe everytime Johnny thinks he is some sort of athlete. Sure they need athleticism to do all of that and they do train but in no way shape or form are they considered atheletes. They are reality show stars and nothing more.

@Regarding your answer about pairs and individual. I guess you are right. But i also believe that it all started with JEK with that need to play dirty to win. At the time they were all hanging the only two ways of winning would be to either be good/athletic (Abraham and Derrick*(alliance member) comes to mind that even JEK wouldn't "mess" with them) , team with them or play a really backstabbing shady game which it wasn't needed before them. This is why i actually prefer team challenges, there is much more drama related to the game and more chances of new winners.

The thing is from the previous seasons (Bloodlines, Rivals 3, Invasion) there wasn't really any need to play dirty to win. Bloodlines being the exception because production itself was ******* up. Rivals 3 you couldn't even make powermoves without backfiring (same with Exes 2 with the Ex-ile) and with Invasion nobody could be a escapegoat since there was the bloodbath.

I feel like I'm rambling a lot but my point is most of the cast of XXX has never played dirty or are just wannabe "dirty" players.  The only people with dirty plays are Cory, Nelson, Johnny, CT and Darrell (which means its 5 from 15 males) and Cara Maria, Nicole, Amanda and Veronica are the only "dirty" players from the female. They should've changed the theme to Cutthroat 2 or just have better dirty players who were clearly needed.  Note: I'm not complainng about the cast or the season but just the "topic promoted" behind it.

One thing that i dislike lately is the "being bad and backstabbing" is the only way to win the game. Now since Johnny did that stunt on Sarah MTV and the rest of the castmember keep on saying that you gotta play dirty to win and blablabla but I don't think thats necessarily true. Darrell, Landon, Alton, Theo, CT and hell even Wes's first win were all clean wins.  Landon and Alton for example they didnt need to pull that bullshit that Johnny puts to get the win, Alton even nomitated himself before to save a team member. I wish they would bring more athletic and legit good personalities into the game and not wannabe dirty players like Cory, Nelson,Devin, etc.

Wes wasn't clean on The Duel...he manipulated the **** out of Evan

OK, this is a VERY unpopular one, especially on Vevmo but I DO NOT like Marie Roda. I don't find her physically attractive (she's not ugly by any means, but I don't know I'm unsensitive to her beauty). I don't find her particulary neither interesting nor entertaining. She seems unhappy and bitter all the time.Hence I don't understand the overhype about her. In my honest opinion, I don't think she brings something quite interesting or relevant to the show unlike LaToya.

An unpopular opinion is that Kenny is not that handsome. Sorry but I don't see it at all. His face is weird to me and his eyes don't save it. I feel people get distracted by his eyes alone. He's meh.

Also never liked Johanna and never found her that attractive. Overrated beyond belief and I'm not sorry to say that

I was right there with you until you said that Toya is relevant.  Marie has potential she just hasn't lived up to it and may never but she brings more than Toya.

kenny looks like a horse faced nerd and johanna looked like a camel. neither one was as bad or "beautiful" as everyone thought they were

If Amanda and Devin got in shape and hit the gym, they'd be serious competitors. Thats just my opinion though

Devin would need 2-3 years of hitting the gym. Amanda I agree with.

@Kvm yeah i know but he was playing against the whole house basically.

@Tre yeah Amanda has so much potential too bad she plays second fiddle to Ashley.M. Amanda deserved Invasion smh and she is loyal af which is rare nowadays.

@JamesDean yeah i never understood why girls from the challenge would fall for Kenny lol. He is okay but he isn't that beautiful like they make it seem.

While we're on the subject of Kenny I never thought the Mr Beautiful thing fit him. He wasn't pretty enough for that imo.

At least for me he was the lesser of the three evils. He was the most moderate egoccentric of the trio. Evan was just corny and Johnny was just meh. Kenny was the core of JEK. Evan was probably the best competitor overall out of them but Kenny was probably production's favourite and most cast member probably felt better around Kenny.

Now for a very unpopular opinion. I would like to see how Kenny would do on these modern challenges. And i wish JEK had done more challenges "alone" like Kenny on FM2, Evan on Duel 2 and Johnny on Cutthroat. They were all much more enjoyable when doing a season alone from the others.

I think people still latch on to the Marie of Seasons and hope to see that again. I think she could be funny/entertaining if she lasts this season.

The Duel II was actually a pretty good season. And the female cast was *squirt emoji*

I'll drink Brittini's bathwater if it gets her to come back lmaooooooo

I enjoyed the Duel II.   Cast was solid with new & old.  Very few people that did countless challenges in a row at that point.  I still wonder how things change if CT doesn't get DQ'd but good season

The Duel 2 was boring to me. Nothing interesting or memorable happened aside from the whole CT/Adam debacle.

the duel 2 is a season in the midst of the JEK era that is just dull and boring with 1 memorable moment. it reminds me a lot of Gauntlet 3 in that sense.

I actually kinda like the idea of exes tbh. I love the idea of theme missions.

Random and probably unpopular but I want to see Ashley AYTO2 on a Challenge. She wasn't the most dramatic by any means, but she was just such a nice, positive, genuine force in the house and she was always really excited to do the adventurous stunts on dates and stuff. I don't think she should be a regular but I totally would not mind seeing her on (even though I know it'll never happen because she was too "boring")

Nehemiah was a joy on that season and the whole brad/landon elimination was intense as hell.

The Duel II in no way was boring.  Evan was the only D/JEK on the season and he had to go int 3 eliminations.  The only real bad part of the partner missions instead of individual.  Any time the person thrown in gets to pick the opponent it creates necessary and REAL drama.   The Duel 2 being during the D/JEK era has nothing to do with anything.   Hell, even the Rachel-Jenn storyline was the best ************ action we've had since V/Rachel was secretive.  Even the eliminations were good aside from Duel Pole Dancing.  The Elevator is a grat equalizer and about who wants it more.   Kimberly & Brittini did great as rookies.  I don't know what more people want.  Insanely better than the contrived drama now.

I'll always remember Jenn and Aneesa beefing over Rachel on Duel 2.  That's the only time I ever remember Aneesa not being able to verbally drag someone. She wanted NONE of Jenn that season.

Unpopular opinion: I like the long seasons and many episodes. Yes, it's irritating to have a TBC when I don't know the outcome sometimes, but it gives us more Challenge episodes to watch and I usually like what they put into the season. While the competition is fun to watch, I love the show mainly to see the interpersonal relations of the cast and that's what they've been showing more of lately.

To add my two cents on the Duel II: The duel ii wasn't as good as the original Duel...but it was still a good season imo.  We got to see Ruthie again...Rachel got to show that she is stronger then all the men and finish first, and it was a solid mix of a cast.

My unpopular opinion: I don't think Leroy is that entertaining.  I'm sure he's super nice, but I find him kind of boring to watch.  And on the flip side I miss Jasmine...she was hilarious and extremely entertaining.

agree 100% (if I understood your post right...if I did not...I apologize lol) .  I miss seeing them being semi friendly in the house, being able to go into town (not just to drink at a bar), etc...thats what made the original seasons so much fun to watch.

The new castmembers from Big Brothers will actually boost ratings a noticable amount. I see next season getting ratings over 1 million if MTV promotes the season as much as they did Dirty 30

I’m sure an unpopular opinion. But I realllllly miss Knight. Now that Jem is back, I am missing him even more Sad
