Everything is spot on ! And no, the ratings wouldn't THAT good with an old-school season since most of the people who watch the show are between 15 & 30, it's a fact ! That's why they adapted and edited the show prioritary for this particular target (with a bunch of hookups, drama more than actual challenges) It wouldn't work otherwise...Just look at people rooting for Jenna, Cory, Tony and lastly Kailah, last I checked, they are all below 30.

Especially with the lackluster promotion MTV does, nobody would even know about it.And with the extreme challenges and restrictive conditions (Housing, Air Conditioning, Food, Lack of Outings e.t.c) most of the old schoolers aren't willing to come back...especially since they have stable jobs and don't want to risk such for up to a month and a half in Hell conditions.
The challenge's glory days are gone and they ain't coming back. It would be nice to get decent seasons...but we probably won't.

Exactly. Like take Landon for instance. On his podcast he stated that he stoped doing these shows because He wasn't trying to be doing these shows until he's 40 unlike some other people(not his exact words but that's pretty much what he said). And on top of that he has a life and a job now and he can't just up and leave for MTV anymore. The only way he comes back is if they bump up the prize money to a legit amount.
I bet there are a lot of older castmembers that are the same way. Especially those who had a bad experience on their last show(most people on The Ruins).

My money was on Darrell back in those days & it's DEFINITELY on him now. CT's always known who to try & who not to.
Exactly. Like take Landon for instance. On his podcast he stated that he stoped doing these shows because He wasn't trying to be doing these shows until he's 40 unlike some other people(not his exact words but that's pretty much what he said). And on top of that he has a life and a job now and he can't just up and leave for MTV anymore. The only way he comes back is if they bump up the prize money to a legit amount.
I bet there are a lot of older castmembers that are the same way. Especially those who had a bad experience on their last show(most people on The Ruins).
And I'm not saying cast the old-schoolers out completly from the show...The ones who would do well and be entertaining I'm all for coming back. But for the most part I'm more interested in the new school and IMO. The Focus should be on them for the most part.

As I recall on Free Agents, CT didn't wanna go up against Zach in an elimination. Darrell did the shit with ease & Zach is bigger than CT.......
And that's fine...it's a solid opinion. It just sucks that we don't have great competitors in this era...some of us care about that aspect and if you're content with these underdogs then that's a shame. Not one of them could have beat any of the champs...not one

Not one of them could beat CT, Darrell, John, and Laurel in a final but Camila, Cara, Zach and Ashley K. Are/were fair game.
You never have had much to add to humanity or society, much less a conversation so I'm not surprised. Maybe you'll get an AA women to uplift you & help you recognize your worth (despite not having much of it) one day.

I have no real complaints about the girls in terms of competition so far
Get Zach on an incline with high altitude and there's a chance the oxygen doesn't get to his muscles and he pulls another FA. But the Champs are the champs for a reason they aren't supposed to be beaten
I agree with Kvm1977. No one could beat Zach in the elimination. And no one could even beat Zach in the mission that's where Zach's main strength is.
